We as IPK fans are one of the most loyal set of fans..we care more about the show's and Saruns well being than we do about our personal life..but we are always treated as trash and are subjected to emotional stress..

No one in the PH or Barun for that matter was courteous enough to inform us the duration of the leave which he was supposed to take while shooting for Main aur Mr Right..we still supported him as 2-3 weeks will hardly make much of a difference..The leave was supposed to be short but got stretched to over 40 Days

Now again we see the history being repeated and the actor is declaring that he is going on a long break (not even a leave)..it is infinite I suppose...He informed us a month back that he is continuing with the show when one heard reports to the contrary..

Once bitten twice shy...It is just a face saving exercise for the actor and the PH by making a mockery out of the loyal fan base...Long break is the new synonym for " I Quit"

I am frankly quite tired of all this quitting business. If he wants to quit, come out and say so dammit. Why say "I am taking a well-deserved break" when you know that you won't come back. Because u can't face the fans hain na. This is his second consecutive white lie. First one was when he confirmed that he is not going to leave show. Later we found that he has indeed thought about leaving the show and has given 2 month notice. And this was before he gave confirmation to audience about him not leaving. And now this well deserved break. Well deserved my foot! What have you done to deserve this break? His break will end the day the TRP's of this show are 0.0. And why is he taking the break anyway? For a movie he never signed or other issues.

And as for my loyalty to the show, it has ended long time ago. But my OCD traits and pure pig-headedness didn't permit me to leave the show. I kept hoping that it will get better but it never did. Then I ignored this and pacified myself my thinking that it was a dip in the storyline and all tv shows have that. But this dip in storyline didn't stop. It kept going and has now reached boiling point hence the crappy bheja fry wala episodes.

We have been taken for a wild joyride by everyone. The PH, BS and channel. They are having the time of their lives in the joyride but eventually us viewers are left clueless.

His leave for 45 days did affect the show. It was long and overstretched. Many viewers left the show. But still some loyal viewers had their faith in the show. And they have played with that faith. They didn't have the common courtesy to tell us that his leave will go for 45 days.

I want to say good luck to him for Bollywood if that is indeed the reason why he is quitting. But I am certain that this decision will prove to be fatal for him in the future. He has ruined his career with his own hands. ASR got him this global recognition and I fail to see why he wants to stop playing that very role. Too much success and fame too handle? Well good luck Sobti and all the best for Mr Right. Kya farak padhta hai agar ASR was the reason u got to be Mr Right in the first place. Let's see how many box office records this movie breaks...

sigh...all parties involved knew the likelihood of this happening. they could have given us two months of rabba veys post re-marriage and gracefully ended this show. instead we got crap tracks. our loyalty has never been rewarded despite our continued support through bad plots, lead's 40 day absence, etc. hell yeah i feel cheated. and no, it's not going to be worth my while to get involved with any of these peoples' projects in the future. after all, we watch to be entertained, not to be taken on a roller coaster ride. we are the consumers here...it was their job to sell to, they failed, so buyer beware next time they come knocking at your door with something new and shiny.

It seems that a lot of people here are being taken for a joy ride.

PH with their storyline is taking actors for a joy ride

BS quitting drama is taking the channel and PH for a joyride.

And most importantly we the foolish viewers are eventually left clueless.

It's quite evident there is some disconnect and the indications are the number of ppl quitting in the show and the letter that they sent out through their forum...

There is something happening behind the scenes which we can't see and the manner in which the news is being spilled out is unfortunately creating havoc..

I would love to see Barun staying and the show progressing well, but all this drama that has been going on for months has done tangible damage to the show.

What i can't understand is when there are shows completing 1000 episodes why can't IPK deliver.

There was a time when actors were playing lead roles in 3 - 4 daily shows working for endless hours and yet dint take breaks at the cost of damaging the show.

I am not interested in knowing the dirty games being played in the background.

But I deserve to know the truth in one single statement once and for all.

because quitting is too mainstream.

ok nw i understand the whole situation...my take on this...

someteime during last week in sep...the actor cums nd says he wants to leave te show...ph...in a shock...changes the script...marriage track changed...

now ph releases this info to a mere reporter...so dat she cums out nd tells the world...the actor nd the ph sit bak to check the reactions...

.no measures madeto calm the people...but yes letting them informed yes the actor is considering leaving...but thngs are yet to be decided...wenever the forum

seems calm...again a new news of leaving cums up...the actor,the ph nd the channel fully aware about it but completely tight lipped...and then finally

wen the news of a new actor cums out...it gets difficult for them to hande the situation...the actor cums nd very politely says"he is on a well desreved

break...for how long he does not" not digestable...neways i will tell u hw long... nd will xplain things from the actor's,ph's nd the channel's pont of view.

needs a break to promote his movie...cant just cum out nd say he's leaving...coz will effect his image..nd ofcourse movie(which is getting affected neway)

check his scorecard...if it hits...will go on wd oder ventures...claiming having issues wd the ph nd channel...he cant cum bak...if its a flop..

ohk nw the ph has already shown its disinterest in the show...so no takin on that...has alraedy got a new show in its bag...wd gud starcast...gud

story...continuing wd the old baby coz of channel...knws the show is nthng wdout lead...so will wait for the channel to close the show nd continue wd the

so-called awesome tracks...if by chance the tracks wrk...which they themselves knw will nt wdout the lead...will dig this matter of calling bak the lead

very show...so waits for nov to cum...den asks the cator to announce his so called break...nw...will chck the trp of the show...if its ok...den

will go on wd the new one...if nt den will bring bak the actor...as promised...if the show continues to wrk well nd gus...oderwise...such a channel always

hav gud shows cuming up...so basically w8ing for the new gud show to cum...again a WIN WIN situation for channel nd viwers:the LOSERS

Couldn't agree more with you..

I have been reading numerous posts that everyone who is a 'true fan' should wish Barun well and send him on his new venture..but..hold on...what is that?? And if that is so then why are we being fed a story of a break?

Even during the shooting of MAMR he was equally non-committal about the duration..bu loyal fans of the show kept waiting and waiting and appreciating all the effort put in by the rest of the cast..of course he did come n between to shoot and was praised to heaven for that as well..

At that time he shot in between to quell rumours that he has quit and fans were being fooled...and after that wierd interview where he said anyone can play ASR he definitely needed to do damage control!

Now he says he is taking a break again...break and coming back to what..is he naive enoug to believe that at this stage the show can go on for wh is supposed to be 'not a short break' and he can come back if whatever he is going to doesn't work?

Why the ambiguity always?? I haven't seen other actors quitting or not quitting their shows be so reluctant to clarify..why ony him??can on,y conclude that it's bcos of the chances of quitting news affecting his movie which will come out only next year..if he says he may return he may still retain more fans than otherwise...

Whatever it is just clarify ... He has to know his popularity is bcos of this role Nd his fans...if this is how he communicates with them he has a lot to learn!

I have already shifted my loyalties long back buddy. I have been taken for ride on a roller coaster not just with on screen drama but off screen drama. I came into watch a love story, I saw DKS, Thriller, Mystery story. Even after accepting all the tracks because of Arhi, the off screen drama really put me off. I really didn't deserve this.

Don't I have enough tensions in my life already to add this to my list ? I have been kicked around like a football, the same way Kushi was kicked for 1 year in the RM by each & every member.

I just wish to see our epic jodi together until at least they give a proper ending to the story, am I asking too much really ? Even now, they could just wind off the show, end the Shit-tal track in couple of days, show a shortened Honeymoon track, a pregnant kushi - arnav taking care of her - a leap - Arhi enjoying with their kids. Story ends. Am I really asking too much 😕 They could show this all before 26th or 27th
