Looks like Shital has done her homework well ...and knows Khushi more than she knows herself...she knew khushi will invite her to stay with them when she said she has checked out of the hotel...

Smiling at a friend or teasing her is not wrong, but is Sheetal his friend? Then why shout at Khushi for letting her stay? Khushi also thought Sheetal was his friend. And if he thinks that the situation will be awkward with his ex, then he should have maintained his polite host courtesy.

Secondly, he showed his caring when he said that she will be hurt, but that was after goading Sheetal into joining the game.

Now you may say that he is oblivious and clueless, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he, in spite of knowing Khushi's insecurities regarding Sheetal, is purposefully ignoring them.

If he had hugged Khushi or just tenderly touched her face or just looked into her eyes, it would have made her insecurity much much less. But he ignored her completely the entire time.

Any woman will feel insecure if her husband goads his ex into joining and spends the entire time teasing and bantering with her and completely ignores or throws irritated/embarrassed glances at his wife. Forget even saying thank you for arranging this outing for him. So I agree, we will have to agree to disagree on that.

Excellent post Rima and you have highlighted all the points very well.
The track is about Khushi's insecurities and jealousy and is basically from her Pov so we are being shown things as she sees it. From Arnav's POV he is just being nice to an old friend and bonding with the kiddo.
For people who see love filled eyelocks it is their overactive imagination. Most just read the written updates n jump to conclusions but if u actually watch it plays out differently.
Arnav's only fault is he is shown as clueless to Khushi's insecurities, but at this stage he has to be or the track will fall flat.

Great post Rima. I agree to what you said. I don't think he is cheating on Khushi, I did not see him staring at Shit-all during the match unlike NK, I don't think he considers her more than just a friend . BUT I DO feel he is a bit insensitive as far as Khushis feelings are concerned.
See what you said are true . But somehow his actions are contradicting his own words
He said he did not even remember about Shit- all and just after he saw her he remembered her.
He remembers the stuffs they used to do together, about her nut allergy, it's consequences and even how long she was sick because of that.
He assured Khushi that she meant nothing
He himself confessed that he used to loose BB match and let Shit-all win.Now ASR won't do anything like that to JUST anybody and Khushi knows that very well.
He knows how insecure Khushi is about Shit-all and his past relationship. He saw her asking about it in different ways. Being sleepless and worried about it. He saw her going to the extent of doing a DNA test . Like you said DNA tests are NO JOKE. Given their past record he UNDERSTANDS Khushi and vice versa. Now Khushi is insecure because what she is seeing in front of her eyes are quite contradictory to what she assumed or heard before. I hate her way of dealing with these issues but her insecurities are REAL. Any woman in her place would feel insecure and OUT OF PLACE. It's very much REAL.
Anyway coming to ASR , no matter whether he assured her or not, since he knows about her insecurities he should have acted differently with Shit- all . He who never let his near ones suffer because of him or any other , is hurting Khushi big time. I know not intentionally but it is happening and the worst part is he is YET to realize even after getting so many clues and even the DNA report.
If it was any other man we would have realized . But here we are talking about ASR. He is never so careless, insensitive towards the people he loves. He puts them above everything. Especially Khushi who is his soulmate.
Sorry but I feel he is being careless about her feelings and that makes him insensitive. Though things are going to change hopefully real soon but for now this is the truth.
