He himself mentioned that the situation will be awkward if his ex and his wife is under the same roof. If he gets that, he should understand that his ex is a guest in his house. Since he know about Khushi's insecurity and what she suspects, he should be polite but not overly friendly with his ex. He doesn't need to, because he, himself stated that she doesn't mean anything. So his wife, who obviously means something, he should keep her feelings in mind and behave accordingly.

Khushi on the other hand planned a family outing. She never invited Sheetal. Sheetal also had no intention to come until Arnav goaded her into joining them. Again, Khushi couldn't have predicted that.

Now Khushi might take a break from finding out Aarav's dad. But will that make Arnav pay attention to her? Khushi planned a family outing to make him happy. Forget saying a simple "Thank you", he paid her back by flirting with Sheetal all the time and staring at her eyes. He never once looked at Khushi beyond what was necessary and unavoidable. This was the guy who couldn't keep his eyes away from Khushi before marriage. But I guess since Khushi is wife, the challenge is gone. Now the challenge is Sheetal.

If he had looked at Khushi, he would have realized that Khushi's eyes were brimming with unshed tears and pain. When a person is insecure, even a small attention or a listening ear or a supporting shoulder works wonder. But where is the attention or listening ear or supporting shoulder? The attention is solely fixed on Sheetal, the listening ear is busy hearing her teasing retorts and the supporting shoulder is anywhere but where Khushi is.

i too feel your are absolute right. and Arnav is in no fault what so ever, and he is the target of unnecessary bashing. how can Arnav be faulted for Khushi insecruities. he made it very clear that he only dated sheetal, even the fling cannot be used hear. cause a fling could be casual sexual relationship with no strings attached. and Arnav is very sure that his frindeship with sheetal never reached that level.

though at first Arnav came across at the guy who could have casual relationship with women but in reality he is a man very much in control of himself. he didnt maintain any physical relationship with lavanya even when she was living in his house and made attempts on her parth, because of his growing feelings for khushi. Arnav respects women and it showed when he didnt hug Khushi back even to comfort her in the hospital because lavanya was his girlfriend. even unconsciously he could not cross the line. his guilt and loss of control in the almost kiss pushing him to announce marriage to lavanya. realising that marrying lavanya would be unfair to her as he had feelings for khushi so he broke off with her.

all the time he was married to khushi and highly attracted to her in love with her, and though a couple of times came close to loosing control, he respected khushi stand that she could not submit herself to him without being properly married. even on the night of consumation he was made sure he had Khushi full consent.

Arnav is not the type of man who would sleep with a woman and forget about it. and he is so sure that Aarav is not his son. not once did he question this fact. even the similerities between him and aarav have not made his question whether Aarav could he his son. doesnt that tell us that Aarav cannot be Arnavs son. and sheetal behaviour is very unsual and strange. and there is more that she is hiding and it has nothing to do with Arnav directly.
