Ok I have seen tons of ASR bashing posts
So many of them
Everyone has a POV and I respect that
And here is mine
I myself have criticized him tons of times. So, I understand where people are coming from
But then I am not going to rest tilll I put forward what is fair as per me.
From the begiining of the Sheetal track I have seen Arnav being targeted.
So let me start from the beginning
What did he do when he met sheetal?
He reacted normally and then fought with Khushi out of concern for her
Next time he met Sheetal he offered her the job like a professional and said if not she is fine to not take it up
Next time when she came home he treated her like a guest and was kind to her son
When tthey went to the doctor Arnav's first concern was for Khushi
He on his own confessed about his fling with Sheetal
He warned Khushi not to get Sheetal home as it could cause jealousy
He time and again told Khushi he loves her and her only
He even tried to reassure her when she was insecure during the one word game that she is the only woman he is thinking of
When he found the DNA report he was angry but he again did not scream at Khushi
Believe me DNA is no joke
Any man would be mad
CVs are dumb not to treat it seriously
Under the circumstance a man has a right to lose his cool and treat the situation seriously
But he forgave
He did not arrange the basket ball game
Khushi did
Even then he was caring to her and said she wuld be hurt so she should not play
All along he has been caring, loving, reassuring and forgiving
How come no one notices this?
All we are noticing is that Arnav talked about sheetal's nut allergy. Who wouldn't of it was known to you? Yes it was irritating. But it was unconsciously done
The so called eye locks with sheetal are a figment of our imagination. He smiles at her. She is a college friend. Yes it is not the ASR character we know. But that is a characterization issue. Is smiling or talking to a friend wrong?
During the basket ball match again people say he did not smile at Khushi, he had eyes only for Sheetal etc
Heck he was focussed on his game
He did not do a double take like NK when sheetal took off her jacket. He was normal
His only mistake is
He is talking to sheetal
Bonding with her
Bonding with her son
Not thinking too much about Khushi's insecurities
But then ASR has done his best to reassure Khushi
But small incidents are marring the reassurance
But these things are just unconscious
His mind is clear so he is not even thinking like us😊
Consciously and intentionally he has done everything in his power to reassure Khushi
Again Khushi is not wrong either
Any woman in her place would distrust
Would feel insecure
Such is the evidence as presented by the kid
And such is the way Sheetal is playing the game
And such is Khushi's insecure nature due to being an orphan and all
This is her choti si duniya of her and her arnavji at stake
Who can blame her?
If someone is then I think they dont realize a woman's pain or have never experienced jealousy or insecurity
So, as far as mistakes go I always look at the intentions
That is why I was hard on ASR during the contract marriage and earlier track because he intentionally hurt
Now his intentions are never to hurt
Similarly I can forgive Khushi every mistake because her intentions are always to save and protect and care
It hurts only herself or others unintentionally
Therefore, ASR is defenitely not to be blamed so much
As far as I can see and as I have stated
He has done all he can to love and care and reassure
What he needs are the sublte understanding of a woman's mind
Believe me most men have no clue about the subtleties
And here ASR is no exception
