Priya: Thanks for such a sensible post!
We can always count on you for bringing good sense back to the forum. If anyone waits for a second and thinks straight it is obvious that there are glaring gaps in the rumors out there. This is clearly a case of mismanagement and unprofessionalism by the PH. If i did not love ARHI as much i would just want Barun to quit and move on with his life leaving these morons behind😡.
I am extremely glad that SP has taken over Barun's contract; hope they can work something out that works in the best interest of Barun, the channel and the viewers.
I wish Barun all the best in his future endeavors; he deserves to scale great heights and I'm sure he will.

Jachu, let Gul get a good replacement for Barun and continue with a good storyline. I am sure the other cast's fans and TRP aunties will stick to it. Yes the end of Barun in the show in the end of the show and PH for me, but not necessarily for the rest. When Rajeev quit KTH, I stopped watching but the show did run for a year or so. The replacement there was bad so the show could not continue for long, but Hiten replaced Sushant in PR and Ektaan was wise enough to change the storyline to suit new manav and that show is still a HIT.

Barun is not quitting now. But even if he does, I wish him the best. Thats the least I can do for that man who has entertained me for so many months

I hope that netizens can understand the behind the scenes politics and refrain from throwing Barun under the bus. For what it is worth here are my two cents...

IPKKND: Most romcoms have a short storyline, there is a limit to the extent it can be dragged. The fact remains that the show has to end at some point in time and all viewers will initially miss it but finally move on. The fact that the PH has not focussed on the show with much needed passion in last 6-8 moths has added to the woes. I would rather that the she show ends rather than drag.

Barun: This is a job for him and after the latest set of rumours/bashing, I can't imagine him being pleased. I am not sure how he feels about working with this PH long term, If he is unhappy and uncomfortable, it would be reflected in his work and I think that would be unfair to the viewers. I have reservations about him succeeding in BW but that is just me as an outsider. He has the right to make decisions about his career, explore new opportunities and take risks to succeed. He has come a long way and I do hope he makes it big in whatever he chooses. He does not hold responsibility for every person's employment on the set, everyone knows the risks involved in this industry and so they should be able to deal with it. We can continue to blame the closure of the show (if that happens) on a member of cast or turn our eyes on behind the scene mismanagement and falling TRPs. On a different note giving two months notice is a very ambiguous term...two month notice for what -getting out of the show or getting out of the original PH contract.

PH: I can only say that this is the most shabbily managed PH who do not seem to learn anything from thier past experiences. The fact that thier stellar original team has practically disbanded and thier major cast members are so dissatisfied does not reflect well on them. Most businesses refrain from tapping into social media because the negatives normally tend to outweigh positives. To top it this PH has displyed immense immaturity in social media so it comes as no surprise that the backlash is immense. It is sad that the backlash extends to cast and channel who may/may not have any role to play in the fiasco. I wish they would focus on thier flagship product instead of churning out 5 below standard shows. Not everyone can pull an Ekta who is said to a resourceful leader and consumate workaholic with amazing business acumen and a very discerning eye for detail.

his 2 month notice is a very old story...y choose to say it out now,,,when channel came in and sorted the issue...does 4 Lion ever thought of building up a reputation,,,after this fiasco...maybe they should have actually asked Gautam to write the screenplay of handling this better !!!

I don't knw what actually happening out here but what ever I conclude thats barun is leaving the show..

we I feel bad bcz he is leaving but on the other happy bcz he is going to do a movie ...

Obviously he is not bound to the show only, later or now he has to leave..if he is leaving and doing a movie I would wish him best off luck..

there is no need of bashing in this matter..he is actor and a preofessional too obviously every one wil do what bennifet him

but one thing for sure no one can take pace of barun as ASR ,me being fn of KSG AND KRAN WAHI

i dont think they even can take pace of him

My comment is not to offend any one its my opinion...

Fans are crazy about barun and ASR and not for PH or SP!! Some audience r going to be super upset with him for giving false interview and playing with our emotions, he could have just avoided the interview if it was a lie...I don't get it? Why say he is not leaving and then go on to say he is taking other projects ie movies? It's impossible to manage both...r they planning another kidnap track when trps are suffering? I am not upset he is leaving but I am upset he lied😭

Priya, Barun's movie rumor was also let out by this same PH through mishti. I knew about it, did I come and opena post and create havoc in the forum? 😆

He was asked to keep his mouth zipped about the number of days he has taken off... that mahaan karya was also done by PH. They have always been like this.. This man has always fallen to their trap, yet he has never said anything negative about them. Proud of him and I wanna kick Gul's a** now 😡

To be frank it's more a case of shooting the messenger... twice.

Mishti and Zee_News are attacked for being honest and passing on the message they are constantly harassed about. Tonnes of PMs asking them to enquire and find out.
So all the frustration some frenzied forum members feel gets directed towards them sadly. Unfairly.

As for the PH, Barun and whatever .. all parties are EQUALLY responsible for not being open or honest about him leaving or not leaving. If they're negotiating, state that and put a rest to it and EITHER can relay that message, 4Lions or Mr. Sobti himself.
