ASR is a fictional character , Barun Sobti is just the guy who brings ASR alive on screen.

If someone says something against ASR that does not mean that He/She is bashing Barun Sobti.

Learn to differentiate between ASR and Barun.

One is reel and another one is real.

For god's sake Open your eyes and see it.

I have nothing against Barun Sobti.

I wish him all the best.

He is a great guy.

But I hate ASR's guts .

So I will talk about it.

I can talk about a fictional character, I have full right to.

Now before anyone calls me biased , I appreciate ASR whenever appreciation is required, but I don't get many chances to do that.

I cut him some slack last night but Let's see how long that lasts.

His brain cells will not remain intact for long, I am sure of it.

Girls need to chalk out the difference between real and reel.

I defend him because there is ALWAYS a reason behind his stupid actions! Yes he insults her left, right and center but people always choose to see what he did not WHY he did. Arnav is a very interesting character and I don't really have a problem with Khushi. I see the show for BOTH but apparently some people see it only forKhushi.

As for the characters khushi is simple- I understand her completely but what intrigues me is Arnav and I am not ashamed of it. I will defend him as long as it seems reasonable.

See to be honest it's just a matter of perspective. What is right for me will not be the same for you.

They are fictional characters and hence their attributes and shortcomings are exaggerated. But i am sure when people say they want to be like Khuhsi or marry an ASR they mean the positives. Like Khushi's innocence/kind nature and ASR's caring nature towards his family/ability to love deeply.

It's just an escape rout and a very common trait in everyone. Nothing too serious.

Bwahaha, I think this question ranks just beneath 'Is the Big Bang Theory True?' and just above 'Was The Man on The Moon Faked?'

I've spent (unfortunately) a year on this forum, and I must have been part of every Team here...Team Barun, Team ASR, Team Sanaya, Team Khushi, Team Sarun, Team Arhi...I'm fickle minded. Sue me.

I cannot blindly justify characters I like out of loyalty to the actor or for any other reason if they are blatantly in the wrong. And please, people reading this thinking 'Omgz bashrz! #@%?' don't patronise me with 'you don't get the character' bullshit. ASR/Arnav is one of the main reasons I started watching this show...His character wasn't your run of the mills SP, momma's-sari-clutching-boys, which was refreshing to watch.

Same applies to Khushi...She had the balls to stand up for herself and be crazy ass self. But at the end of the day this is a SP serial, characters persona's will be amplified to gain extra dramatic affect...So you see Arnav turning to a class A jerk, and Khushi turning into a bumbling fool.

Both characters have been screwed with courtesy the CV's, yet the STI's seem to spreading through the forum like wildfire.

My only issue with Arnav defending is this- why is it that Arnav fans are unable to criticise and bitch about his character every time his character is butchered, when they can do it in an instant in a heartbeart when the topic is Khushi?

Call a spade a spade, and realise when the characters are being destroyed by the CV's and speak up about it...Don't sugar coat it and find some shitty excuse to find BOTH their actions plausible.

Oh and if anyone is wondering what teaam I am now...It's Bhatiya all the way baby.

i am someone whos always supported asr whatever hes done and always disliked khushi. I love asr but no i dont want a husband like him..! Its looks good on screen ..off screen i wud kick the guys ass!
And thats why i dislike khushi so much... Spineless., i know many will diagree but she only stands up for other people.. SHe has LET him do all that stuff to her.n as a woman i dislike her for it. if she would just kick that guys ass and is less dumber.. I have always liked women who can stand up for herself. He blackmailed her to marry him. Understand her 'pain'? Why did she say yes? For her sister? Please. Hr sister would never want her to do that to herself. I would give my life for my sister but iwould never say yes to this.. Because if my sisters future husband would listen to his brother and leave my sister. I dont want him as my jiju. I disliked khushi from the first episode where the grooms side demanded dowry. In THIS DAY AND AGE? N only becus dey didnt hav d money she went to convince them oderwise she wud have said yes?nd ill admit i love and support asr because all that he does looks super hot ON SCRREN ! In real life.. Iwould truly kick his ass.
Bt in the end all this is required to move the story forward so 'enjoy.. Serial hi to hai'!
