i am someone whos always supported asr whatever hes done and always disliked khushi. I love asr but no i dont want a husband like him..! Its looks good on screen ..off screen i wud kick the guys ass!
And thats why i dislike khushi so much... Spineless., i know many will diagree but she only stands up for other people.. SHe has LET him do all that stuff to her.n as a woman i dislike her for it. if she would just kick that guys ass and is less dumber.. I have always liked women who can stand up for herself. He blackmailed her to marry him. Understand her 'pain'? Why did she say yes? For her sister? Please. Hr sister would never want her to do that to herself. I would give my life for my sister but iwould never say yes to this.. Because if my sisters future husband would listen to his brother and leave my sister. I dont want him as my jiju. I disliked khushi from the first episode where the grooms side demanded dowry. In THIS DAY AND AGE? N only becus dey didnt hav d money she went to convince them oderwise she wud have said yes?nd ill admit i love and support asr because all that he does looks super hot ON SCRREN ! In real life.. Iwould truly kick his ass.
But in the end all this is required to move the story forward so 'enjoy.. Serial hi to hai'!
Please do reply even if you disagree. :)
Dear...thank god you don't want to marry ARS like guy in real life...
Sadly & unfortunately...dowry,helpless women are real life situations in modern INDIA too...
I have been avoiding this story telling ...but just because of your point ...I am going ahead...
Yesterday I stopped & didn't tell whole story...because it takes an emotional toll on me...
It's so heartbreaking...
If you are softhearted person don't read this...leave right now...
When I was in engineering ,one of my close frd's sister got married.
I & all Frds attended the wedding,...
After her sister's wedding my frd changed slowly but surely...
We understood something is wrong but never guessed it might be about her sister...
Her sister's husband,in laws were very abusive...
They tortured her, taunted her about being not that wealthy...pretty...
She was from a middle class educated family...
Guy was from very rich family...
Actually she went in his company for job & he proposed...it was a love marriage...
One day my frd's relative came to pick my frd up from hostel...
We read it in newspaper that my frds's sister was burnt alive...
She was tortured with hot iron first...
When after 2 months we went to meet my frd...it was heartbreaking...
Her mom was devastated beyond belief...she was looking as if she is a dead body...
My frd was in shock...she just said...
"is it true ?is it a nightmare?"...
It was life changing moment for me& all of us...
It's easy to blame Khushi like girls...
My frd after few yrs said" my sister couldn't have come back...she was oldest ...we are 4 sisters...
If her marriage would have been broken...my parents couldn't have married rest of sisters"...
I was stunned ,I just hugged her yaar...
That story & other stories are true pictures of domestic abuse...
There are many many women who are doctors, engineers ,teachers & educated, self earning individuals...But sometimes it's not possible for them to go to parents house after Brocken marriage...
Many marriages are Brocken because of dowry...
It has neve happened in my family...
But I have close Frds who will tell you stories of real abused women...because of dowry marriages are called off...
That's truth...that hurts but it's true...in modern India in some communities, some villages or some cities too...this is happening every single day...
Fortunately I was never in that situation...but I won't say those women are spineless...
May be they allowed it to happen...but in many cases if these women go back...society will treat them as dadi treats Khushi or garima with disgust...
Characters like dadi are every where...
Every family has share of dadi,mami,ASR...
But nani,Khushi are a rare species...
