Gadi chal padi. That's what I remembered when halfway through the epi Dadi comes in Arnav's room. Finally, all these dragging through rituals and wedding preparations are coming to the final stage and the story is starting. From the episode and all the pointers that came before, to me it looked like the wedding is not happening. As I said before, my personal reasoning with a lot of other things was I just do not want another repeat telecast. A sense of been there, done that. If they get married it is bound to happen. I'd rather see intense scenes where they so want to be together but just cannot due to circumstances.

Khushi is shown doing everything by herself. Buaji says that and also Nani acknowledges the fact. So looks like she is going to battle it out by herself and clear her Mother's name, as any child will do for his/ her mother.

Loved Arnav- Khushi's phone convo. Arnav like a true gentleman asks if after last night's LoveMaking/ Sex/ Kiss (You take your pick) she is OK. Barun was so good in this part. and his "See you soon"... HAI MEIN MAR GAYI ☺️ EEEKKK... THAT WAS MY FANGIRL MOMEMT. Errr sorry went all Caps in my over excitement. 😳 Now a serious moment, for all of us they did it. Even from Arnav's dialogue they did it. So what was Khushi's expression there? Any girl, specially someone like Khushi, the first time would be so precious. Where was the blushing, shy expression? Why did she look so bold? 😕

Was Barun wearing skinny blue jeans with that Oriental style kurta thingy? 🤔 I was happy though that he didn't wear the pagri. Just can't picture him in that. Although didn't picture him dancing with towel too. 😳 *Ok Trin time to move on...think Diwali Look, Arnav's "Hi", "Main janta hu"...life is good *

Now when Dadi is walking around with face like a blow fish, what's the reason for leaving her all alone with Arnav? Well it had to be done for final reveal I suppose. One thing struck me though. When Dadi was shown praying to DM and Nani comes to her, we are not shown DM even once. Maby its nothing, but I felt that it shows that she is wrong and she is not getting DM's blessing.

Loved Arnav's dialogue that he doesn't want to listen to that kind of truth that separates him from Khushi. I was going "Hai meri nadaan bhola bhala bachhu, I am feeling so sorry for you hun"... Dadi is so going to pull the MA card now. And she did. Dadi was a bit theatrical for me in that segment but Barun, God bless him, even though he looked oh so tired, he performed well. Can't wait for tomorrow.

This old lady is so focused to bring down Garima that in her obsession she is forgetting that she is hurting her grandson. She is so blinded that she cannot see that this truth will devastate Arnav.

Arnav's shoes... what's the significance? 🤔 I'll stick to my earlier theory and say that Shyamu pe joote padenge when the time comes.

Speaking of him, Where is Shyamu? Serving water and juice at the wedding venue? Why do I get a feeling that he has got a backup plan up his sleeve in case Dadi doesn't deliver?

Wedding Cancellation...Yes am with your opinion...in this regard...No marriage as of now...This cancellation stamps Khushi and Garima's character black and dark...Khushi for living with a man without proper formalities...and for Garima...we all know...!!!

The slap Garima gave should have a justifying reason...dirty water spilt on Daadi should have a meaning...!!! More than anything...ASR's mom's death is a wound in his heart...this fiasco will heal that wound to an extent...but will lead him to a bigger turmoil of Khushi leaving him...

When I came on redux had an idea in my head which I wanted to post...however while posting I normally play the episode in the background...to make sure I am not missing some important part of the episode due to me going Amitabh Bachan of Black way!! 😛

Anyways went on facebk to access the link updated there but stumbled upon something quite interesting...A quote by Lalit Mohan:

And that was the cut it of my earlier thought process...and my whole thoughts started revolving around the above...

I dunno in what context he has given this quote...whether meant for IPK audience offscreen or meant for the track of IPK...but it is quite inspiring to me atleast😆

So lets start with today's episode but since the quote has inspired me will quote it wherever deemed necessary...

Buaji and Garima enter GH with last minute shopping and discussing the ordering of food... where they discover Khushi organizing each and every aspect of her wedding...poor Khushi...kaam per kaam...Buaji reminds her that its her wedding today and she should sit down...and Garima is worried about her running around and not acting like a dulhan...

Poor khushi assumed that since its her wedding someone else will do the work..maybe Payal, happy ji...any one else...but lo and behold...as LM sir said its the mother of all F**k ups...hogayi na garbar..kisi ne bhi nahin kiya...bechari khushi shaadi wale din organizing desserts, flowers...and on top of that buaji and Amma are still contemplating to call the caterers for food...(bare achay caterers hain...2 hr notice per khana ready...meri shaadi main to had to book the order atleast 2 months back!!!!!)

Next we have NK sleeping, Anjali giving last minute instructions and actually all responsibilities to HP and mami as usual eating an apple...NK has watched Indian movies to gather the traditional rasmen so he can be a part of them and enjoy as last time i.e during Payash wedding he spent his entire time making videos...his hopes of sitting on the horse in front of Arnav are dashed as Arnie will not ride a horse but use a car and his hopes of garnering money for joota chupai rasam are also dashed when he is informed that he is the groom's side and its his duty to protect the shoes rather than hide them...

Assumption no. 1 ... was by us when we assumed that NK recorded something useful and he might help clear up Arnie's mind regarding the shyam episode...but no...sadly both NK and his video camera proved only to be a red herring for us...had it been there poor mami would also have been happier as I am sure he covered a lot of mami with his camera as compared to the video grapher hired by Guptas...well let bygones be bygones!!

Assumption no. 2 ... NK can have fun at the wedding...poor NK bitwa has forgotten the ever present omnious saaya of dadi and shyam...so he will be given a rude awakening soon and all his hopes of fun will go down the drain...

not ours.,...this time we are assuming the worst...so whatever happens it will be better than our thoughts 😆

Then we have khushi given her jhumkas by Garima again and Garima thanking her and apologizing for any mistakes that she has ever done...a pretty nice and emotional scene between the adoptive mother and her sanki daughter...an open declaration of open heartedness of the two ladies...one who accepted her niece as her daughter and the other who gave her masi as much respect as she would have given her mother...

Here Khushi declares ke woh alag qisam ki dulhan hai!!!!

Assumption no. 1... Garima assuming that dadi has suddenly sprouted angel wings and halo on the head and forgotten all and willing to move on!!!!! Lady this was the right time to tell and prepare your daughter... give her some shields to protect herself...why keep her ignorant !!! This assumption will surely mess up things...

Assumption no. 2...by me...khushi's hum ek alag qisam ki dulhan hia implying that she will not be the regular...payal type bride...kuch na kuch garbar to hogi ...she is already married...however decked up as a dulhan to get re-married but will still get stuck...now it depends whether the marriage will proceed or not..if it does then she is an alag qisam ki dulhan kiyunke married twice...if it doesn't then again she is an alag qisam ki dulhan as her marriage will break and technically uski shaadi nahin hui hogi but still she will be married coz she was married earlier...so if by now you have managed to understand this assumption...I am assuming that you have a lot of patience and brain to make sense out of this insane statement😛😆

Next we have nani inquiring from dadi about her getting ready...dadi ignores and walks away...nani is all confused...

Arnav all dressed up and poor NK and Akash competing to get the turban accepted by Arnav...Anjali comes to spray some perfume on Arnie( I am so glad she is not inspired by her hubby werna ether episode again)...

Khushi calls...arnav wants to talk...but all take turns...with Akash telling her about the extra cars for the guests...

What the?????? itni bak bak ke baad akash gets a dialog and that too this???? couldn't you write one leg pulling dialog from devar to bhabhi...he could have informed about the cars to his wife...that way he would have got 2 dialogs...bechara...and why is Akash informing the bride about the preps...she is the bride for heavens sake...why is it a taken thing both in RM and GH ke bas khushi hi kaam kere gi...

I wouldn't be surprised if she gets up in the middle of the rasams to distribute sharbat to guests...

Nani informs arnie about he coming in a saji hui car with dadi as dadi is the oldest...

nani ji...chor do ..is umar main kiya age complex...just to show the world that dadi is older and you younger you left your grandson with sumi!!!! The very sumi who has been against the wedding all along...turned tide all of a sudden by accepting khushi and then has been walking around with a face like a blown up balloon since morning...why have you assumed that arnie and dadi is a safe combination to be left alone and for last...saath hi le jaati ...and poor NK he wanted to be in groom's car...why did you not let him sit in the car...

Ya dadi and arnav motor bike per aarahe hain...with dadi in front and arnie at back...nahin na...not even a sports convertible...it has to be a five seater...so one more could have stayed behind...but NO...you assumed all will be well and went off...Hai re...yeh assumption bohat bhari pare ga!!!!!!

Then a lovely conversation between love birds where he asks if she is OK after last night and Khushi says that she hasn't ever spent a regretful moment with him ever...instead she is now living every one of it...

We assumed ho gaya!!! Someone assumed hum bewaqoof hain...gave a statement asking us to get out of gutters...but eekaaa??? Arnie also assumed ke hogaya...thus the question..if she is OK...with the slight hesitation as the man is worried about his performance and impression on his wife or wife to be...Khushi all happy and serene answered back that now she is enjoying her life even more...and then the reason for the call that pls come on time...and of course arnie boy cant wait for it either promises in gutso...but the assumption that there will be happiness in the life of the leads of a drama for more than one week is the biggest mistake of all...so !!!!

Then we have khushi decked up as bride and is contemplating to wear the bangles given by arnav...where payal jokes that Arnav has already started maska marring khushi...and then tells her not to wear them as they don't match!!! ( Is laad governer vote maangne aaye ge time coming up??? will Khushi be getting aloof in the relationship this time??)

Nani and Anjali come to admire Khushi where Nani quickly iterates for all that chote will come and Amma will do his aarti ...ab kiya khaak aarti kerwaye ga Garima se if he feels she is the OW.......and then Nani on buaji's commnet that she does all things alone says..yehi to hamari khushi bitya ki pehchaan hia...Hamesha aisee hi rehna...implying that may she be ever happy and sanki and the whirlwind she is...OH OH...a clear hint that Khushi is going to get a maturity leap sooner than later and we will see a silent, broken from inside khushi..a recluse and a woman hell bent on mission clear my mother's name...as she is used to doing things on her own,...

Buaji says she cannot distinguish between bride's or grooms side...dear Buaji...soon you will see a marked difference in stances...

The upshagun strikes by the breaking of bangles..after a fearful few moments khushi brushes it off...aagayi ek aur assumption...Dhat teri ki!!!

Next scene Arnav romantically securing the bracelet in a box for khushi when enters dadi with her omnious information...she plays her trump card when arnav clearly declines to listen to anything against khushi or anything that may affect his marriage she hits him where it hits the most...his mother...she uses his weakness against him...knowing full well that the boy will be flummoxed and shattered...she is playing her cards and assuming that all will fall into place as she wants but dadi ji...a wise man called LM said

So dadi ji don't assume that what you have thought will also come true the opposite might also happen 😛😆

All in all a crisp, well shot and edited episode after a long time...had a feel of finality to it...did not leave a feeling of want more or something missing...And ofcourse all actors were up to mark👏...however would appreciate if NK stops elongating his last words,,once in a while is fine not each line please😳
