How we should behave with spoiler givers - Page 5

okie i gather from ur post and that of Manal's that there has been some disturbances again in the Forum ... and once again a spoiler giver with her delusions of grandeur...

Thank u for this post Rima.. If anyone wants to leave the forum it's fine it's their choice...No one need to stop them.I|n this forum everyone is the same... So everyone should be treated equally...I can survive without any spoilers Rima but I appreciate what Mishti has done... If she wants to quit then it's up to her, but i am not begging anyone to stay...

I don't run after these spoiler parties at any time. For me if they give spoiler or not give are the same. For me, each and every member of the forum is equal. Some ppl here surely deserve respect on the basis of their maturity, consistent attitude towards the show, etc. again, it does not mean others don't. I like the show. I am coming here just to enjoy and know and share more news abt the show (most of the time to know, because I don't have much to share).

First all of us, none of us bashed her. She was regularly posting Barun's schedules and many of us were curious as to why she was doing it. Some of us asked her before and she didn't respond to it. In her yesterday's post, she posted about Barun's leave yet again and many more people got curious and requested her not to. She responded to it by saying if we have problems with the things she is posting she will not give any spoilers.

If you go through that thread, nobody bashed her and made it clear that we appreciate the fact that she gives spoilers but we feel that mentioning Barun's leave in every single post is not necessary and we even stated why we thought it was inappropriate.

It is not a spoiler/ relevant information.

It creates unnecessary panic in the forum. People start to worry that we will have a Barunless epi / week etc.

Disclosing personal information without permission is an invasion of privacy.

Disclosing an actor's whereabouts might lead to security problems.

If she is concerned that we will bash Barun when we see his BD, it's only fair that she has the same concern for Sanaya and other's too.

If we want to know about Barun's leave, it's obvious that we would want to know about Sanaya, Abhaas, Daljeet and the rest of the team too.

It's true that we wanted to know about his movie shoot. But there is a difference between a 45 day shoot and and 1-2 days leave.

But she misunderstood us and decided to quit. If this is bashing then all of us should quit because we say much more to other forum members every day and have frequent debates over the show.

Later the forum was flooded with posts that we are ungrateful, disrespectful towards our spoiler givers and should be begging her to come back because we can't survive without spoilers.

I truly appreciate all our spoiler providers for providing us with information, clearing rumors and all and I look forward to spoilers as well. But if people want to quit over such a small issues, then it is their decision. I made it clear why I don't think she should disclose schedules in every single post but I also told her I am thankful for her spoilers and had no intention of offending her. I don't think I have done anything wrong.

Good post Rima. i don't how how this thing has gone out of proportion. Not so long, mishti told she had to reconfirmed about RM cos she was not sure anymore, and formerly she stated that the RM was happening. I just tweeted her back that the fact u are unsure , confirm the news that the marriage won't be happening. really there were contradiction in her tweets. Like a true fan,i was disturbed but lol she tweeted back by asking me to unfollow her if i don't trust her. I was like what The heck,girl.Are u serious,i amicably requested her to justify her tweets but at the end she took it very badly. What can we expect from this kind of attitude, i was really pissed but in the end i had to apologise 4 no fault of mine. It is best to overlook things at times.

Tomorrow if we criticise Barun or Sanaya and he/she says I am quitting because of the criticism them who will be termed a weakling..plz do think about it...

No one has attacked her personally, just the point that BS is on leave irritates and irks more than a few members...

We know she takes time off from things and provides the spoilers and it doesn't by any way benefit her commercially but still no point taking things to the heart...the world is not a rosy place it is filled with thorns accept it or not is upto the individual to decide...

Behaving like a celebrity and using the spoiler as a bait to silence critics is sheer stupidity one can stand to lose respect..bas

This forum has many members from various backgrounds and different personalities. At some points, we have to agree to disagree respectfully.


The news that she gave on Barun was not about his personal life. It was about his absence from the show. That's not invasion of his privacy. The info that he has taken leave does not automatically mean they use BD's. They could record his scenes beforehand too. I have so far not spotted BD on my own. I only noticed in the hut scene, as this forum was pointing it out left, right and centre with no warning in the title.

She is not GOD. You are right. For that matter, No one is. But whyshouldshe be criticized if you don't like the content of her post ? She didn't break forum rules. For eg, If you don't like some other member's opinion or post, what do you do? Do you criticize that person or do you just not bother reading or replying? Why can't the same be applied to her? Just because she gives spoilers to the forum, it doesn't mean we have a right on her. We can choose to read or not to read, believe or notbelieve. No one is forcing us.

Whether spoilers make us enjoy a show less or more depends on everyone's perception. The wayyouor I feel may not apply to anyone. As long as spoilers come out with a warning in the title, people can decidewhetherthey want to read it or not. If I feel that I enjoy the show less with spoilers, then I personallywouldn'tread such threads. Simple. Why control everyone and decide what's good for everyone?
