Mahurat nikal ja raha means if you don't start the wedding within that auspicious time its not good for you. In the old ages it was a huge stigma. Now a days it doesn't matter so much, but then again in villages ans stuff its still a huge issue. You know when my parents got married, that day there was a cyclone in the area. So my dad was very very late getting there. At that time 35 years ago no phone or anything. They couldn't let my mum's family know. So the Mahurat passed. And my dad arrived very late with the Barat. But luckily there was another Mahuraat in the middle of the night so they got married then. Its fate I guess.

Cyclone paas aane na de...Fate door jaane na de😆

Waise I have heard about Bangladesh cyclones from my grandma..who was born and brought up in Myemensingh!!I have heard lots of stories!!

Sam my ma from Mymensingh too 😃 Yup the Cyclones "KalBoishakhi Jhor" as we call them are just different. I love them you know. Somehow used to make me crazy...I used to go to the roof during them without anyone knowing. Its so scary and exhilarating, there's nothing like it in life. And its beautiful, nature at its best.

Exactly 😊 The only city I've ever been able to love!😊

The famous Meenakshi temple ...How do u know Hindi then??

Yeah; only I've never visited it ... I used to write the Hindi exams, never completed all of them but my teacher was more into making me learn spoken Hindi. We weren't allowed to use even English in our classes so I learnt. I completely forgot because of exams and career; now an relearning watching IPK!😊

Some communities Follow the Muhurtha Time very important auspicious time ..its the only thing that matters a Lot for marriage..our persist look at the time every second not to miss the time with in few seconds..we call as jeela karra bellam...means Cuminseeds with jaggery pastes...
was to keep on our each other head he will keep his hand on my head and presses the paste vise versa at the exact time of Muhurth ..after that Follows Mungasuthra
