Reminder:Starplus are very smart-TRP game

I have been a Media Manager for long and I know for sure 5.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. are known as peak hours where the Advt tariff are the steepest. If you see, you will realise IPKKND is telecast 3 times between these hours. 2 repeats and 1 new episode.

Now friends think about it. 11-11.30 p.m. was a slot where they used to run high TRP programs like Kashish and Kahin Kissi roz. Are we to believe that they do not have any suitable serial waiting in pipeline for that slot. No. Here is the fun.

They get the school kids, mothers and college returning fans for their 5.30 slot irrespective of it being a repeat. Fresh fans plus the above mentioned fans for 8.00 p.m.. Office returnees plus the above fans for the 11.00 p,m. So added up the TRP would be any where near 4 plus..

And that my friends is the reason we should not worry about TRPS and their story line to be suitable for TRP. Lets just enjoy our very own M&B novel with our very very own BS and SI.

NO other serials in any channel is shown 3 times in these peak hours. Star Plus knows it has a winner on hand.

darn smart i'd say...in other words lots of ppl i knw only watch star plus for ipkknd..no othr serial in the same channel can even touch the same note

oh ya they also know that ipkknd is the best...but I would prefer 1 telecast in prime time to increase trp though

That is what even I'm trying to say. They generate a lot of revenue from this serial (telecast and retelecast), so I feel TRP's aren't bothering them now.

none of my frnz watch any serial xcpt ipkknd in tv...so it comez as a shock for me ki how come thr trp drips for our show inspite of having such a huge fanbase...but now reading the post i realised...thank god u posted this...i was so sad after seeing this trp game but relieved reading the statistics that our show is the winner in their own means

I like this post .. a thought came to my head (don't mind me) i wish they have a director cut version of all ARSHI scene for the older fans later .. i'd totally stay up late lmao
