I have been a Media Manager for long and I know for sure 5.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. are known as peak hours where the Advt tariff are the steepest. If you see, you will realise IPKKND is telecast 3 times between these hours. 2 repeats and 1 new episode.

Now friends think about it. 11-11.30 p.m. was a slot where they used to run high TRP programs like Kashish and Kahin Kissi roz. Are we to believe that they do not have any suitable serial waiting in pipeline for that slot. No. Here is the fun.

They get the school kids, mothers and college returning fans for their 5.30 slot irrespective of it being a repeat. Fresh fans plus the above mentioned fans for 8.00 p.m.. Office returnees plus the above fans for the 11.00 p,m. So added up the TRP would be any where near 4 plus..

And that my friends is the reason we should not worry about TRPS and their story line to be suitable for TRP. Lets just enjoy our very own M&B novel with our very very own BS and SI.

NO other serials in any channel is shown 3 times in these peak hours. Star Plus knows it has a winner on hand.
