asr knows khushi likes him by her side.. I find it super cute he is not leaving her side even in Mayka his in laws are seeing it... His relations are getting it.. In a marriage if the husband wife are standing together.. They can weather any taunt and no In laws will dare to say anything...

The guptas are reassured that their younger daughter has her hubby by his balls..That is why she is doing matargashti in Mayka..

the most important message is "every couple has their own way of existing" and every action needs to be seen in it's context ...just because he made her wrap gifts ...does not indicate slavery ...

the way hubby and I talk ...in private one would think ours is the most dysfunctional marriage ...but the fact is we are at first huge friends before being a couple and that sets the tone of our marriage ...so we are constantly ragging each other ,.,,.,we have never done the sweet nothings ...one will think other has gone mad if we even try ...

probably that is why I can so identify with Arnav khushi ...yes I was vocal in crticisizing Arnav when he threw her out on a cold night ..post marriage ,.,,that was what i could not take ( so maybe i have my limits but then my relationship never went something that horrible, people act in so many ways under pressure , who knows what we ,who have thankfully not much to do but preach , will do if we were to face similar situations in our lives) ,,,,but other than that every thing is justifiable

the fact that every one has to remember is that Khushi fell in love with this arrogant hell raiser ...and if you really love a person you would hate if the person changes ...and Arnav fell in love with wisp of girl who is strong as a horse when it comes to willpower and determination ...

and he wants to see those facets ...

and remember Arnav is Arnav ..he has been rude to nani, to even anjali at times .,.why do we believe that he will always be sugary sweet to his khushi ...who understands him more than anyone else in this world...

and I really do not know what is this about redemption ..have'nt we all seen 1001 shows where the hero goes totally Devdas , guilt ridden idiot ...

the only other show I ever followed as religiously , and was active in it's forum had a similar arrogant hero , who hated girls ; falls in love with the heroine , huge MU and then starts his redemption ..trust me all the fans went hoarse crying they wanted the original hero, the guy they fell in love with , his original attitude , back...but this fellow became a total bhikhari in love...I did not like it and so many other fans did not ...

we all loved ASR because he was different from any other character we saw on TV ...why do we want his ways of making up to his love be same as what we have come to expect of Indian televeision...

par agar crtiscism na ho to forum ka mazaa kaise aayega ...if there are not different views ...a few bashing ...a few phan gurls drooling ...that is what makes the forum...

in fact we should thank the CVs that they give us a show that not only tingles our heart but makes us debate too..

One thing I completely agree on is his behaviour with Anjali and Khushi...You are so right...Anjali has always been his fragile sister who he has felt the need to protect. And right now she is more fragile than ever...On the other hand there is Khushi, a fighter, who always stands back up after being put down. Their relationship has always been about challenging each other and these playful nok-jhoks...He tried being lovey-dovey with her and we saw what happened...she was not even talking to him properly (although he does not know why)...Atleast this way he can be close to her without her feeling the need to run away...For him to apologize, she has to be willing to listen

it is said that words and actions dont matter as much as intentions do... Arnav intends to do good to her...thats what validates everything he does now...

he has come past the point of intending to harm her...one time i think was publishing her photos to press...and it turned the wheels of his and Khushi;s life completely...the next time he intentionally harmed her was asking her to marry him for 6 months...he has now realized that marriage was wrong and it was uncalled for and she is hurt...so he is trying to correct it as by being a good husband...but he has still not realized the harm he created by publishing the photos and the reactions that happened...he does not know that it was his action that made Khushi getting teased and Shyam coming into picture...once he knows that he will have to address that...i believe this is the case because he recently said that had she not come into their life, Shyam would have not got attracted to her...though it was in a fit of anger and he didnt actually mean it...it shows that he is unaware that his own action had caused this and not Khushi's...:)

but am loving all that he is doing now...am soo happy that Khushi and Arnav are having this phase of romance in their lives...every couple have their problems... only few have this phase of free courting ( which girls mother will allow the guy like our Garimaji does;)...once a little more understanding develops mentally and this tension diffuses, "this" beauty will be lost ...he is courting her and she is basking in it... its like that period after engagement and before marriage for couples... especially in arranged marriages where you are getting closer but are held back... by doubts and questions... and our groom in question is a perfect gentleman flirt whose middlename is Selfcontrol...so the bride has all the freedom to be herself...and she is loving it...

when Khushi imagined having Arnav and Shyam as her husband in her dreams earlier, she imagined Arnav as a man who will tease her even to answer a simple question of how good a saree is... she didnt like the lovey-dovey speech of Shyam...so it is so heartening that Arnav is just being the man of her dreams...just as you said I am sure Khushi is enjoying it...

and i am loving it too...but i do sincerely hope that Arnav soon comes to the point of knowing his wrongs, respecting her silence and strength, winning her trust completely, honouring her before the world as his wife and making her feel that she is his wife...he should not be required to keep reminding her...the day she gets that confidence in him...that he knows her sacrifices - big and small and respects her...she will truly start assuming her role of Mrs Arnav and that day he will be redeemed...am betting on Arnav that he will do it rightly and greatly and i hope I win...
