Nimrat Kaur says ‘faltu time nahi hain’ to trolls fueling speculation about her personal life

Nimrat Kaur didn’t mince words while addressing rumours about her personal life during the News18 SheShakti event. The actor, known for films like The Lunchbox and Dasvi, shared her thoughts on online gossip, calling it a waste of time and expressing pity for those who spread such baseless talk.

Reacting to speculation that has followed her especially dating rumours with Dasvi co-star Abhishek Bachchan last year Nimrat said she chooses to ignore noise that doesn’t align with her goals. “Mera focus life mein kya hona chhaiye wo bohot clear hain,” she said, adding, “Mumbai sheher main social media ke liye nahi aayi thi, uss waqt tha bhi nahi. Smart phones bhi nahi the.”

She didn’t stop there. The actor continued, “Mera life goal aur aim hain ke main kaam ki jama punji badhau naaki befaltu ke cheeze.” She said she pities people who create and circulate gossip instead of doing something meaningful. “Mujhe toh taras hi aata hain ke apne life ya apne samay ke saath kuch better hi karle. It’s futile and a waste of their time and life.”

When asked if such negativity affects her, Nimrat calmly explained that she doesn’t give such comments any importance. “I pity them, it’s sad. Mujhe unki upbringing aur parivaar ke liye dukh hota hain.” She added, “Kisi raah chalte aadmi agar aapko befaltu kuch bolega toh bura lagega kya apko? Usko taqleef ho rahi hain, madat ki zaroorat hain.”

Nimrat made it clear she has no time for distractions. “Zindagi mein bohot kuch karni hain, bohot lamba safar. Ye sab ke liye faltu time nahi hain mere paas.” On the professional front, Nimrat was last seen in Sky Force and Kull: The Legacy of the Raisingghs. She also made a special appearance in Abhishek Bachchan’s Kaalidhar Laapata. For Nimrat, it’s simple she’s here to build work that matters, not entertain gossip.
