Hey we have fun with this stuff whether we agree or not! this turned out to be a good experiment to post this.

1. He is not establishing Rules -- my take is he is breaking down barriers between the two. No better way than to make it a fun exchange. You know we went over it on your post so I wont bore you with the same argument again (worded differently).

2. Yeah the TV ban jao and gift wrapping is definitely subjective. Will I say that to my wife, well I tried it as soon as the episode ended and she said "tum microwave ban jao!" So, this could happen. I am not 100% certain but I believe that they may actually make ASR get kicked around by Khushi as well.

I think after reading your posts for the last 3 months now (wow time flies), I understand where you are coming from. You think she is being constantly disrespected. I obviously agree but may be we are mixing things -- may be we are adding the disrespect she suffers at the hands of others with what ASR does and blaming him more.

I still think the three main things:

1. Remove the stain of calling her those two things repeatedly needs to be removed.

2. He needs to explain to the family what she did.

Like I said before, he will make her admit her love for him before that. That is my take on the track and like they say "that is my story and I am sticking to it!" Let us see -- it will unravel before our eyes pretty soon!

A very well written post! You were able to change my perspective about the things a bit. But still a part of mine can't completely agree with you.

I wasn't able to enjoy the gift wrapping scene but then again Khushi enjoyed it. So I can accept this scene.

But after everything they've been through they are still playing their games which they have been doing since a year now. It's enough. We want something more substantial. We want the words from ASR's mouth, assuring Khushi that she is 'the girl' in his life!

I am still firmly in the KHUSHI CAMP if there is such a thing -- I think I am actually in the camp of what is "right"! We all know she has been RIGHT.

Let me take a crack at the "feelings, pain and sensitivity". As someone that has made decisions for others, and as someone that is in the business of convincing people that I am right constantly (important when leading an effort), I can tell you this -- sometimes we take short term pain in order to provide long-term benefits.

He can just simply go to her and say "I am sorry Khushi for all the pain I caused you. You are right about ..., I was wrong about ..., I am in love with you ..., Come back home and let us get married again"!

Now that will not only be boring but it also has achieved NOTHING. She has to believe his apology first doesnt she? Him saying sorry so suddenly may actually not result in any belief on her part!

This way, he is actually doing everything she thinks he is capable of -- he is using his power but he is gentle and is showing her that he cares, he is teasing her like crazy, he has found ways to stay with her. What this does is, it increases familiarity towards this New Guy. What better way than to show it in practice where he may lose to her as the CVs may show and eventually make her believe in this guy -- better chances than a simple monologue of guilt.

She needs to be convinced that he has actually changed. If handled well this will come out.

thnQ for making this post.i am trying to convince my self to the present story line,hope they dont come up with things like gift wrapping scenes again.the fact he is jus enjoying by pushing khushi to that edge is not going down for me.he can tease her with something else but should not threaten her with money matters.he should get her back with love not with money.hope they dont drag this too much .

I agree -- this is a track meant to show that he is really with her and he has changed -- digest the fact that I have changed and an apology from a changed ASR will be more believable is what he is saying.
