Maverick, Thanks! You have said everything I have been trying to say in response to Rima in the past couple of days... your post is just amazingly more articulate than mine...

I have been trying to say something similar...

Khushi is NOT going to go with him to RM even if he tells her there is no contract. She had decided to stay out of his life because of Anjali. Arnav thinks he has no choice but to force her with threats.

He has never really troubled her family so far... lack of water for one morning is not a big deal... (at least he is not like a super star who insults the girl's father openly by making him read a newspaper detailing an alleged linkup with himself)

yes he is troubling Khushi ...but she can handle it...

she fully understands that there is closeness between them in the way she is comfortable sleeping next to him with her hand on him, leg on him ...him holding her hand while sleeping...etc etc. etc. we have got to understand that their relationship is not like lamp and wick... it is more like firecracker and wick... you light a one ...there is only going to be fireworks...

Wow!!! so far the best explanation. wonderfully described the emotions and place them accordingly. I agree with you almost 99%. (except the inclusion of romance which they could put anytime and make things more "chewey") Thanks for the elaboration of mind and thought process. Please write more. COOL!!!

I think all of this stuff is building "friendship" between the two -- they are now playing with each other, taunting, challenging, pulling each other's leg etc etc. This is building that fundamental relationship -- remember, wife and husband relationship is not just about "warm cuddly" moments -- a man will DIE if all he can do with his wife is "warm cuddly" stuff with constant attention to be paid to "real sensitivity" -- He should be allowed to be himself because the WIFE needs to understand that MEN are not all CUDDLY all the time. He is establishing a mode of communication with her. YEP he knows that he screwed up -- before you yell at me, you know I watch the show for Khushi. But Khushi is now learning to be with a man who wants that playful fun relationship with his wife that he got accustomed to. She needs to trust in their love and play along -- that LOVE is what is being established now.

the problem is that there is no balance of power between them. all things said and done, Khushi in her WILDEST dreams cant hit ASR where it hurts, whereas he can, in phone call, make her homeless.

so, trusting this man, is out of the question. Loving him a distant dream.

@underline: Khushi ruined his night's sleep. Big f**k! But the next day, he wants her to pay up another 24000 or come to RM. No equality there. All the taunting is done by him, and the curveballs are thrown at her.

The "Nok jhok" of this calibre would be more enjoyable and funny, if they were atleast on the same footing.

Take a bow mate - I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting for a man to write his point of view. This site is filled with women who are either on this side or the other so it was really refreshing to read a man's perspective.

What you have written is absolutely true and perfectly explains Arnav's character and the way he behaves. He is a typical bloke who is handling his wife like any normal husband would do. He has run out of ideas as to how to woe her back so he decided to go back to his business ways and "force" her to come back. We women might disagree on the method but we are also sympathising with him as we know Khushi is adamant to not return. Even if she does come back before these 12 days are over she will without a doubt leave him after the contract expires.

I wrote a post about how I think Arnav to redeem himself and I would love to hear you point of view - as it will be either for or to...

Needless to say I completely agree with you, thanks for this post, it was much needed! And also it's refreshing to see a male POV, usually it's just us girls so it's nice to see what a guy thinks about it all 😊

Great post!
Loved the POV and i completely agree. Arnav and Khushi are not the regular couple; Khushi despite her hardened exterior is totally loving the attention and even after all this thinks "LG itne bure nahi hai"😉. People need to calm down and let the story play out😆😆
