D olny prob wid barun acc to me is his voice...
I mean i cnt really undrstnd wht he speaks..n i keep asking my sis wht he said as she is crazzzyyy behind him..
Not dat i dnt like him..but he is not OMGGG as treated here...

Don't forget the fact that these guys shoot daily without any much preparation.

They are far far better than sooo many actors including bollywood actors also & i am saying this both for Barun as well as Sanaya.

He may not be the best but he is a very fine actor, rarely i see actors crying or a male actor crying without having dialogues or shedding a tear down his cheeks and Sobti does that.

His individual scenes where he runs behind an ambulance thinking he lost kushi,He didn't even utter the word "Khushi" in the scene just eating his words and gulping the pain and he proved that for a man to cry is tough but when a Man cries then it is for real.

Many actors are good in dancing but he is not then also he knows how to handle the challenge and NOT make fun of himself. He did perfect justice with "Teri Meri" song.

Till now if i have to say whats my fav scene in the show that left me have goose bumps then it has not been a romantic scene of arhi rather an individual scene of Barun where he breaks down in the middle of the road, specially his eyes once he lifts his head the raw anger, revenge seeking eyes, the pain..

The passion and love the sexual tension that he emotes i do nt think i have seen any other male or female actor emote it that way till now .

The nuances he brings to the character ASR is commendable, a normal lay viewer like my mum and aunt's also understand the complex chracater ASR with such an ease . each transformation from ASR to Arnav to chote he does it brilliantly well.

have you ever seen so many variations an actor brings in when he just utters a name as in "Kushi", each time he takes that u get a different feel and the utter of the name "kushi" has all the emotions in it. The tone and voice modulation he does is impeccable .

Barun and salman are compared, hmm feels good as Sobti's fan girl.
not at all a Salman's fan though i have watched anadaz apna apna (for Aamir), maine pyar kiya and hum aapke hai kaun( for mad's), i do nt hold much good views about Salman as an actor.

If you ask me who is a better actor, i would say Barun.
If you ask me who is more popular, then hands down Salman.

But as of now i feel good that a tv actor who jst has 3 yrs of experience in his bag and who hasn't worked with biggies or big directors is compared to a person who started his career in 1988 and worked with directors like Sooraj bharjatiya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and many more. Then Barun has come a long way 😉

Sure with time and with a good director he can go a long way.

The best thing bout him is that he has took all the criticism in the right perspective and has proved to himself and the world that he wants to progress and has the potential.
The craze for the character ASR speaks what he has given to the role and what he has got from the role.

For some strange reason or as im his phanka i would like him to be compared with Aamir who remains to be my fav, i find Sobti a combo of Aamir (acting , charm, honesty w ise) and SRK ( i feel he will go SRK way frm tele to BW may be not as famous as him or may be as famous as him) , well thats just an ardent fans feeling.

YES, A guy with only 3 years experience only on small screen has created buzz like non other in the Industry,

HE is already the King of Expression, no one can match him at that now

acting is an art and art is never perfect... every actor can improve and BS will definitely grow as an actor when in the future he'll work with new directors and in new projects! his improvement is indeed incredible and his potential cannot be denied

barun sobti is a good actor who can improve...dialogue delivery is not good and i dont know why no one in the creative team is interested in improving it! but he has his good days with dialogues and husky lines ☺️ it is not true that he is always bad with dialogues!! the thing i like the most in him is the varied range of emotions he emotes! his eyes say a million things and u can understand arnav even if ur tv is on mute... he is perfect for ASR

that said in my view, indian TV is not the best medium to judge acting skills and in not any way comparable to the workings of bollywood.to play the same character for months and maintain its nuances is a commendable job. if you see all actors of IPK are miles ahead to their contemporaries on TV

the only thing i disagree is the ur statement that in this forum barun sobti is supernatural... no he is not... at least not since i have joined IF! behind all the fangirling and gutter posts, he is the most judged actor of this forum... this is just my pov(no offense intended)... he is constantly judged and sometimes called a wooden actor which is not always in the right spirit and to top it all his personal life is not spared either! every actor be it barun, sanaya, abhaas or the other supporting cast have their inconsistent days... while the others are not as such bashed it seems to me barun is always a target! the recent barun-salman comparison and the resultant OTT left me speechless

I love Barun's acting - I have never found him doing bad at any emotion he has portrayed - So far he is the best TV actor I have seen in like a decade (my TV watching life)

He is better than many bollywood actors too, if not all.

But I agree that there is problem in his dialogue clarity - I mostly understand what he is saying, but there are times when i have to try really hard

For me Barun is a very good actor. And yes I am one of them who say that Barun is better than some bollywood actor who can not deliver a simple good expression and who are getting film because of their physic.
Of course i will not compare him with Salman Khan, SRK, Amir...
Yes I agree with the dialogue part but it's a daily soap we can't expect actor to deliver their best everyday. This is a difference between film and serial, in a film you can show how great actor you are. So i am waiting for his movie.
