Plz don't get me wrong, may I know what is your age ? May be not in the open forum but atleast PM me abt it.

I did not even complete going through your anaylsis as I had a point to make as when I just went through what you have written abt "Never sabotage the characteristics of ASR. ----- Did ASR have any idea Khushi was having hard time in giving in ? "

I was able to relate to everything Khushi was going through at that moment. The moment she turned her face sideways with her eye brows pressed inbetween , lips tightened (hinted unwilling look) then when ASR was seeing her with passion started to walk towards her , I knew the very moment, She will not "give in" to his desire at any cost (may be her values was stopping her Or social stigma? ) , that's it.

When ASR pulled her back, all her expressions were screaming "NO, plz don't do this to me , not now ", she just did not utter those words on this face coz she loves this man but her expressions and body language were actually screaming loud when she was layed down and turned the other side. She was actually screaming without uttering a single word .

I always liked Khushi's character and actress doing it which I enjoyed from start (coz I'm not sadist in life, very practical and believes in modern society) .

Now, I am loving the way Khushi's character is portrayed (very sensible and matured, she was emotionally strong before too ) these days , I can actually relate to Khushi in all her situation and her thought processing too whenever she comes onscreen. Finally, her character is getting the much deserved attention from Gul lately.

Even though I am not married but If I was in Khushis shoe, I would have done the same and may be I would have pushed the guy hard who is forcing me .Even if I love the man does mean I should give in to him when I am not willing for it , it should not be forced and should be respected for same .This is where I felt from story POV, ASR should have left her when she refused for the first time if he had really respected her privacy. I did not like ASRs action here.Firefly was justifiable act(both characters ) but not this one. I do not even have to bring BD here, it's debatable and a different topic altoghter.

I felt kissing , lifting and untying were not necessary , just deep emotions and passion in eyes and small touch from these two characters/actors where more than enough to convey whats on their mind would have done the deal for common viewers.

My mom and me were having a small tiff on this after dinner (cant believe for these characters, we must be crazy really ) , she was in favour of ASR and I was in favour of Khushi . I could understand my mom POV but to make her understand my POV, I just said "if your daughter or youself had to gone thru the same thing , now would you still support ASR or Khushi ? Only then she kept quiet coz reality kicked in , not a fairy tale.

I would have hated Khushi even if she had given little bit for pleasure here , even a small shy smile would not be acceptable at this junction she is in . It would have killed her character knowing how accepting and forgiving she is (very natural ) but not at the cost of her values .I thank the writers here.

What can you say about a love story that thrives when on the edge...that it gets exciting to watch.. or does not meet the hype it creates..Some of us reveled in the magic of the firefly that left us spell bound while a few of us felt the magic of the firefly died an untimely death before it even

managed to illuminate the horizon. Sounds similar to the love saga of Khushi and Arnav.

Khushi and Arnav enter a desolated hut seeking shelter for the night and respite from the goons relentlessly in pursuit of them.The darkness frightens Khushi and she refuses to let go of Arnav when he tries to go in search of finding a source of light. She is scared of losing him again. Her faith is precarious in positive turn of events as destiny has cheated her in love more often than not

Arnav is happy to see his lady love's posessiveness for him and at the same time concerned that her fear should not overshadow her spirit.

A caring lover boy Arnav who in a soothing voice assures Khushi that he will be back before she finishes counting 10 with eyes closed. Khushi trustingly abides by his words. Arnav's eyes lingeringly savour the innocently trusting face of Khushi

with a smile on his lips.

A far cry from the husband who never shied away from hurling stinging accusations like characterless,liar, cheat ,gold digger who only does "natak" of her feelings ..A week in solitude.. and the same brilliant mind of ASR ponders hard on a young girl's spirited try to proove herself innocent. Her endeavour to undertake the task might have spoken louder than his assumptions... time only has the answer to this riddle of a changed Arnav Singh Raizada.

Arnav returns as promised... with a jar sheltering a lone firefly...Khushi's face lights up with a childlike innocence on the precious gifts of love... trust to honor

his promise to her,usher in happiness that her heart desires and to be the harbinger of light that dispels darkness from her life. The firefly escapes with the light

that it brought... Khushi and Arnav become sad momentarily... but Khushi brings in the much needed words of comfort for Arnav that she is no longer afraid of the

dark. Arnav's companionship has given her the courage to overcome it.. The knowledge soothes him. May be a hint at how the dynamics of Arnav and Khushi's relation

would work in the future.

Khushi attends to Arnav's wounds and Arnav lovingly caresses his wife's face and notices that her dress has got a tear ,he tells her to change...While waiting for Khushi to emerge from her makeshift dressing room Arnav questions on how she was alerted to his plight... Khushi replies"aap ne humein phone kiya aur kaha.."Arnav remembers

his confession... both are unable to complete the sentence... does the feeling of love need words anymore?

Arnav watches Khushi's sillhouette as she is changing her clothes..he

is drawn to her like a firefly is to the light of it's mate. Reluctantly he gets up to do what any honourable man should do... he dims the lamp so that the sharpness of the image

blurs...Khushi emerges as an angelic beauty in white... mesmerizing the lad once more... armed with the knowledge that she loves him too... he crosses Arnav Rekha

boldly...😳 Khushi in a saree has always made our bitwa go weak in his knees... red,green ,white... the list continues... thankfully she now wears salwar suits or else he would have a tough time keeping his hands of her...😉

Khushi unsure,hesitant and Arnav confidently get lost in the passionate heat of the moment... Their moment of bliss is shortlived as the goons catch up with

them. Arnav gives himself up too the goons to protect Khushi... Khushi had earlier objected to his plan but got a whack on the head instead. The girl has still not learnt

that hubby dearest does not like his decisions countered.😆

Khushi wakes up in the morning to realize that Arnav has sacrificed himself to protect Khushi.. she is left with tears and an empty jar as a reminder of the sweet

tender moments of love that vanished swiftly as it had come.

Critical Thoughts

A nice thought behind the episode but with big holes that has a potential of draining the effect it wanted to create... Missing leads, missing trp's ,mounting pressure to turn around... a non envious situation to be in but a clever maneuver can do the trick... Arhi magic has never let you down in the past and will not do so in the future .The reminder that it is not created alone by the individual brilliance of the leads but with the interaction of the actors who pick up the cues from each other to transport a mundane scene to the magical will go a long way.. Only a single scene of them together in a frame will do the trick ..quality always supersedes quantity. There were other glaring inconsistencies..lighting of the lamp,magical appearance of designer wear saree and choli..etc., which I am sure other able reduxians would have pointed out..😛. I have already written too long.
