Anna loved your new style.. Nia excellent analysis as always...:)
I decided to try something new as well hope you enjoy it..😳
It was, he thought, the difference between being dragged into the arena to face a battle to the death and walking into the arena with your head held high. Some people, perhaps, would say that there was little to choose between the two ways, but Dumbledore knew - and so do I, thought Harry, with a rush of fierce pride, and so did my parents - that there was all the difference in the world. ~J.K. Rowling, "Horcruxes," Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, 2005
Khushi was fantastic and although I still believe this could have been brought about in a different manner let's say desperation mixed with a childlike innocence pushed her towards Shyam but she did not disappoint as she walked away after stating a resounding No crushing his overconfidence along with his expectations of gaining things in a simplistic manner.. what I loved was she portrayed once again that irrespective of her need to prove her innocence she refuses to betray the man she loves and she forged ahead with her self- respect intact.. she has begun to gradually understand how Shyam's mind works and he is in for a surprise because he is no longer dealing with the innocent K who trusts blindly no she is a wife fighting for her marriage for her husband's affection and more importantly for her self- respect.. !!
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.
Winston Churchill
Now for ASR I wonder if fear of bumping into his wife's questioning gaze had our tycoon avoiding the confines of his room.. he was fighting a losing battle within himself where as a lover a husband he yearned to believe the women he loves and to an extent he has already accepted the fact that he was wrong about her.. yet the mind demands an explanation for what he saw what he heard and regardless of his attempts to suppress those memories they continue to haunt him.. a man known for hiding behind a facade of indifference can no longer overlook his annoyance nor does he wish to.. he craves to seek confirmation for his own contentment..
Anjali was once again depicted as the individual who has the power to bring ASR and K together.. yet she is also the individual who is blind to the faults in her own relationship.. she tends to see what she wishes to where her marriage is concerned..
"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love."
Washington Irving
The best part of the episode according to me had to be Arnav and K finally forced to face one another due to Anjali's interference.. I just adored this sequence...Anjali had just finished sharing another bit of information about her chotte with K a man who flees from emotional involvement and tends to become irritated when in the midst of emotional turmoil.. I found this amusing after having seen just that aspect of him in the living room.. he arrives and tells his di he is leaving.. completely overlooking the wife who will eventually pick up the pieces to his shattering heart and put his fears to rest..
She hesitantly walks towards the man who despite wanting to believe she had wronged him cannot help but gaze taking in every nuance every expression that flickers across her features..quickly he shakes himself and puts a stop to what he believes to be a charade.. but even he cannot stop the love the concern from showing at the slightest stifle of her pain..he moves ahead to console her but she pulls back because even though she cannot hide the pain the love within her eyes she is aware of what he feels for her.. and she finally states that she was forced into this position but now the bond having been formed she will fulfill her duties.. depicting that even though he did not give her a choice as to their marriage she will not back down at the first sign of trouble she will fight till the end for their relationship..'
Did I sense an aspect of realization at this point from ASR his flashbacks portrayed his regret at having treated her with such ruthlessness.. although he is not ready to accept it as of yet the pain in his eyes was evident.. and once again he observed another facet of his wife.. he stood back then allowing her to finish the task she slowly moved forward to cut the thread the connection between them broken yet she maintained eye contact tear stained yet hopeful that one day he will understand.. she will wait yet once she has proven her innocence he will have to prove himself to her as well.. !! ASR leaves as quickly as possible aware of her pain and of his incapability to make it better..!!
"Fearless is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again.. even though every time you've tried you've lost."
Taylor Swift
I have to say enjoying the ending as well.. Shyam was excellent in his need to get the message across without giving anything away to his oblivious wife.. Khushi took in his jibes not understanding everything but getting the gist of his threats.. yet his desperation to have her do his job for him simply pushed her to fight to protect her husband she will do anything in order to save him from his intentions.. but once again the sisters disappointed me both were too busy dealing with their own issues and attempting to hide their worries behind a cheerful smile that they are unaware of being exactly what the other one needs..
The office sequence was well shot.. I did not see that one coming but It's obvious that ASR will see them in his office.. although how this could create another MU is beyond me seriously you think of all of the places they decided to meet and discuss their plans in your office.. anyways let's see what takes place Just loved Khushi today.looking forward to the confrontation tomorrow..!!
On a final note Loved Buaji's reply truly ASR has witnessed the difference between unconditional love and affection from his own who cannot even sense the pain beneath his irritation..!!
