When I saw the spoiler pictures, I was dreading this episode but when I watched I was pleased with what I saw. I really liked this episode
I get what Khushi was trying to prove with the water but it doesn't make what she did right. Khushi broke the trust that was building between them with her actions, it came off as spiteful on her part. In that scene I was disappointed with her but the CVs quickly bounced back with her character and I was reminded of why I like her so much. Loved that the CVs explained where Khushi's earnings were going, it wasn't about irritating Arnav it was about her supporting herself and family like she's been doing all along. Kudos to her for this!
I loved the scene with Arnav, Garima, Bua, Shashi and Khushi. Khushi instantly started to melt hearing Arnav ordered food for everyone thinking what everyone would like yet specifically knowing what kind of food Khushi loves to eat. Khushi was just so touched by Arnav knowing little details about her, what made her even more happy was seeing him bond with her family. Loved how he taught Bua and Garima how to use a fork --- best scene of the epi!!
Khushi and Arnav have started fighting again and I couldn't be happier about this! Loved Khushi's reaction to what happened to Arnav's car, can't fault Arnav for accusing her given what happened in the morning, Khushi is doing nothing to help herself with those antics, luckily for her she will have Bua, Garima and Mamaji there to help especially now that Mamaji has seen Shyam duplicating the key.

Feels good when you get it right😃

I was right about two things, Arnav will indeed order the food for the entire family and this track is more about Arnav and Gupta Bonding.

Food:

Guptas pooling all their resources to pay for their Damaad's food, Arnav's immediate gesture of insisting on paying and the guilt when he is not allowed to pay and realizing at once that this would not have been easy for them financially.

Amma & Garima struggling to find their way around the food, Arnav genuinely affectionately showing them how to do it, The ladies pretending to LOVE the food when he sweetly almost nervously asks them if they liked it.

Khushi's look of sheer happiness and a tad proud as if to convey, see this is my hubby, he cares so much for my family and how thoughtfully keeping in mind everyone's likes and dislikes especially her own has done something special for all of them.

The way she held the food he ordered for her as if it was the most prized possession, Beautifully and Fantastically - Written, Directed and Enacted by the Team.👏

Arnav & Guptas Bonding:

Guptas once again get an insight to how Arnav is. He does something for the family quietly unassumingly out of genuine affection and not to show off.

Remember if he is uncomfortable he has not said a word to the Guptas, their respect for Arnav I am sure will be increasing day by day and they must also be relieved that Khushi indeed has chosen a right guy who will take care of her.😳

Arnav, Khushi, Raizadas, Guptas and the English Language

Would it surprise you if I say Arnav can be equated with the English Language and it will be the Guptas who will be the most fluent more specifically will be the people who will fully understand him.😳

Let me explain.

Anjali & Raizada family is the Spoken/Written English Part:

They are the people who have lived with him the longest and are fluent when it comes to his actions. This is how chotay is, they do not have the full understanding of why?

So give them a Grammar Question paper to solve, they will get most of the questions right, cos they are fluent but ask them to explain or apply the grammar principles, they will fumble cos they still have not fully understood what makes this guy who he is.

Khushi is the English Grammar part:

She understands completely what drives him, what upsets him, what gives him happiness, what makes him angry etc. She is very sound in the Grammar funda when it comes to him. She fumbles on the application/fluency part cos she has not known him that long to achieve the grammar and the fluency part so she can decode ASR.

Guptas will be the combination of above.

Oddly, it is the Guptas who have spent the least amount of time with Him. Yet they will be the first people to fully understand the complex man that Arnav is.

Raizadas know what Arnav once was and in their own try to get him back to his old self not realizing that we keep evolving as individuals.

Khushi has her own set of ideas as to how Arnav should be so she is with all good intention trying to mold him into that.

Guptas however have no such intention. This is probably the first time in ages, that he is experiencing the freedom of being himself. Guptas have totally accepted him for what and who he is. There is no corrective procedure undertaken by them and hence I feel here mentally and emotionally he is more at peace with the Guptas than he has ever been with his own family for a long time. And hence the respect, Affection Arnav has for Guptas and vice versa comes through so beautifully.😳

Wishlist scenes:

1.Why don't you call her Amma:

Looks like we are finally going to get the Chai under the Stars scene. Why?

These two always bond under the stars over their parents, this time even if they don't drink Tea or Lassi, the scene under the stars ideally should happen.😳

So khushi has broached a sensitive subject, you can bet Arnav is sitting outside and she comes out with the tea and even if they don't have a heart to heart, just sitting together drinking tea and savoring their moment of sitting together and not fighting.😍

I wouldn't be surprised if she talks to his mom and calls her as Amma, making him go all awww😳

2. Garima & Arnav

I don't know how they are going to do this, I would love if:

When he blurts out about his mom and Stuns Khushi into silence, It will be Bua, who will whisk away Khushi on some pretext leaving Arnav and Garima alone looking at each other awkwardly
OR
He storms into his room and Garima comes in.

He will probably fumble and struggle with words and say Aunty, I am sorry or something and she will say, It does not matter to me how you address me, you are as good as my son.

Do not worry especially about Khushi, she is still a kiddo at times and it doesn't matter to me if you call me amma or not, you are Khushi's hubby and Payal's Jeth, so you are our son on two accounts (Effectively making sure he looks out for both Khushi and Payal)😳

3. Nani calling Bua

I am surprised that neither Nani or Anjali have called up the Guptas to find out how he is coping and trying to ease them ki I hope Bitwa is not troubling you much. 😆

I would love if Nani calls Bua and they have a heart to heart and Nani lets in something about their past, how Arnav and Anjali were thrown out, how he struggled everything.

It is CRUCIAL...for the Guptas to understand Arnav fully not only for his actions so they can understand why he got married to Khushi, They can point to Khushi, do not go by his words, go by his actions and later when Arnav will be the one who will protect and defend the Guptas as Sathu and Doodz have been saying all along.

4. Khushi' s Bidaai

I really really really want this to happen when Arnav and Khushi go back to RM. I am guessing after he tells her he knows about Shyam, they will decide to move back to RM the very next day( Khushi now that she knows the reason will be heartbroken and would want to complete the remaining term of the marriage and I am guessing Arnav would like to move back so he can counter Shyam).

As soon as the Raizadas come to know, I want the whole family to come to take them away, since Khushi hasn't had a proper Bidaai yet. So the family comes to take their bahu officially.

The first 3 months of their marriage, most of it happened minus the family's blessings, the next 3 months let it be with Family's blessings strengthening their bond further.

I don't know if Shyam would accompany them if such a situation comes but it would be Fantastic if one of the neighbours calls out to Shyam and Arnav sees and overhears the conversation.😈
And Bua glaring at Shyam would be an added BONUS😈

5. Back to RM

When Arnav and Khushi go back, I want a sober Khushi who knows now that she is in love with Arnav and heartbroken with the notion that he does not love her back and she is determined to spend the remaining term with dignity.

Arnav needs to go back understanding the Guptas including Khushi and start wondering if Khushi is innocent in all this? So far he has been looking at thing according to Shyam's version, Now he will start looking at from khushi as well as his own version.

Loved it. And I also liked how you explained the difference between symbolism and metaphors.

@Doods brilliant. You compared the bath scene to a scene that I thought was a passing scene (La-Khushi), superb! It is mind boggling that you quoted the right sentence and the screen cap. Do you remember the scene and then look up the episode, how long does it take for you to pull such past references?

Hi Doods, wonderful analysis yet again. 🤗

I loved the way you connected the old scenes to the new ones and drew parallels, awesome. I am amazed how much you remember and your comparisons when you connect them are spot on. 👏

You have beautifully explained the difference between symbolism & metaphors. I do agree with you metaphors can generally be established and proven but symbolism cannot be, it is totally up to the interpretation of the person, hence very subjective & speculative.

P.S. I loved your Nor'wester Redux, was busy over the weekend, hence could not comment.

@doodleberry : awesome analysis as always.
You know what when I read a post on apr 22nd I was shocked becoz that person whoever posted just lifted almost everything of your north-west analysis. Wanted to inform you right away but no idea how to do that. That person posted on 22nd in the morning. Glad to got the info about it.
One quick thing, don't know if I missed it. Can you lease tell me about the significance of "key" . Sorry for any typos.

@Doods and @Anna...Excellent analysis 👏 Now waiting to hear what Tanthya and Pam have to say😛

Good to see Shyam getting things moving and Mamaji catching him almost in the act(though he doesn't know that yet)😉

I agree with everyone who is saying "Enough with the topless scenes already!!!" Really though, I know we all find Arnav good looking, but this almost weekly shirt off scenes are getting a bit much. I would rather enjoy some good arguments, dialogues, meaningful scenes and MU clearing stuff, than see Arnav shirtless at this point. Maybe the CVs got so caught up with Khushi saying that Salman Khan was her favorite, that they decided to model Arnav after him. After all, Salman Khan always has shirtless scenes too 😃

❤️Loved, loved, loved the sitting down to eat scene. So beautifully done!!❤️ I think this is probably the first time Arnav has had somebody offer to pay for something and worry about his comforts. Usually people just take him for granted...like leaving him to eat alone when he comes home late

As far as all the car parts disappearing goes...wonder if Happyji is doing something nice with them...i.e. cleaning them, getting new parts or just making them better as a wedding gift for Khushi and Arnav.👍🏼 That would be really nice to see and Arnavs reaction would be a treat to watch...ASR ki bolthi bandh 🤣

Edited to add:
@Pam...great analysis. Loved the hope vs fear part. I think if Khushi ever let's go of hope and gives in to fear, God help everyone. She keeps everyone going and keeps everyone happy. A Khushi without hope is a disaster waiting to happen.
