Hello Reduxianz ...

Great analysis tants... Today since I am working from home, got a chance to comment on Doods, Anna's and Pam's posts seperately... and Tants you opened the thread early yesterday! Hugs to you for that!

My points to ponder~

1. Arnie's Public bath - I felt this was Kushi's attempt to break his ego, his pride, his Arrogance- which will automatically bring out her answers- he will be devoid of all these some time down the line but yet again she failed in pushing him off limit..

2. The Dining table scene- Well thought of... well shot! The ladies pulling money from all their kitty and paying off the bill- shows how important self-respect is for the MC families.. Arnav has seen this, and will see a lot more which is gonna make is redemption painful!!! And I loved Ammaji's and Buaji's reactions when they were tasting the pasta ...Isnt it something that we would have witnessed in our lives.. when our elders who havent seen the delicacies of outside world taste it for the first time.. feel ecstatic about it, not because of the taste, but for the sake of their younger generation

3. Arnie's car is stripped off- Poor guy, I thought only he was asked to strip for TRP sake.. now his majestic car also stripped!!! So very faithful to its master!
Actually I had thought, it would be Kushi's work to get back at him for making her Buaji and Ammaji pay for his bill... thankfully it is not...
But the locality is shown to be closely knit, who would rob away the wheels, seat and steering in broad day light? and how would the locality people sit quiet when something like this happens? Usually, wont people in MC dwellings peep out in case of doubtful sounds/movements by unknown somebody venturing into their locality- taking into consideration there was no power as well the previous night??!!

4. Shyam -mamaji confrontation 🥳wasnt this the second time when Mamaji caught him in his act? once when he tried to kill Anji baby, he stopped it now he saw him making key!!! But though when shyam hits him, Arnav is gonna find out somehow that Shyam has got keys...

Sweet Episode overall. Funny, with lot of lighter and softer moments.

###- I know Many may not agree with me. But the entire public bathing fiasco was crisp and clean. It was not cringe-worthy as expected. Both made their point clear. For khushi, it is not a classless act and for arnav it is. Enjoyed and had a good laugh! ⭐️

###- Liked the way khushi interacted with the ladies near the bathing area! She is indeed sweetheart.⭐️

###- ASR really amuses me sometimes! I expected him to blast khushi after the public bathing. Naa. He decided to advocate peace!👏 The transition from ASR to Arnav comes easily to him nowadays. Or is it calm before the storm? ⭐️⭐️⭐️

###- Ladies of GH. They were always sweet but today they were sweeter. The oodles of attention they pour on arnav, its difficult for him to miss it. They seem to be keen on offering him the 5 elements (cooler, food, water, space and wood!)everyday😉. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

###- ASR and his caring ways! Thats not something which we are not aware of. But his public display of this care is something new. 😲.Loved it.⭐️

###- ASR was always cordial with GH Ladies. But today, coupled with a tinge of guilt, he treated them really well. Barun looked tired in this scene though.⭐️ ⭐️

###- Finally good to see a calmed down khushi(finally😳) who fondly stares the GH - Arnav interaction.⭐️⭐️

###- Shyam and his key to truth is back.⭐️

###- Liked how Cvs did not show Arnav wearing his usual vest. May be because of summer. But it matches with the ASR - The commoner's way track!⭐️

The main sticking points of today's episode was

Garima - ASR:-

In the past the interaction has been cordial. Nothing out of the ordinary. But ever since Arnav has reached GH as SIL, she has become a doting mother. Loved the way she defends him in front of buaji. When he bought AC, she convinced buaji why he needs it. Same way, she justified the 5* food parcel as well. Garima readily offered arnav the water stored in kitchen to take bath and also she was apprehensive about taking arnav out for bathing. He already got a mother, just have to extend his hand to feel the warmth. ⭐️

On top of that, I loved the way She was the one who distributed the food parcels to everyone handed over by arnav. Isn't it lovely? Will she be instrumental in channeling his love to everyone? It is defenitely a hint!

Wishlist - >

1) a lovely interaction between arnav and garima 😍😍

2) hope arnav get to know, how garima became the mother hen for khushi and payal who were stranded without a shelter.😍

Khushi - her unruliness(?):-

IMO She has definitely crossed the border line of OTT. Forcing someone to stand half naked in front of public is not something which can be thinned out as a prank. But I can accept it as a khushi antics considering the social environment she grew up. No complaints. But still there is something not well with khushi!. Since last two days, I was wondering what it is. Finally nailed it today! Khushi - ASR interaction infront of GH members.

Are we seeing a slightly different khushi in GH? She never bothers to hide her annoyance of displeasure for arnav in front of GH members! During blackout, the way she reacted to buaji's suggestion of mosqquito coil showed clear displeasure. Today, her counter question "Why" when arnav called her to show the car, was clearly had a tringe of defiance. Especially after such a touching scene of Arnav - GH interaction, the diffiance and tinge of rudeness was unwanted!.👎🏼 👎🏼 👎🏼 . I don't think in a middle class family like Gupta's would approve the disrespect she spats every now and then.

Note sure if this slight deflection of her attitude is meant for the track progression or an unintentional one by CVs? Anyway did not go well with me!

OverAll Lets give 3 stars. What say? ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Lil more edit on Precap:-

Precap was intense. Cound not resist correlating. ASR and Khushi share almost similar pasts. At one point of time, both of them were homeless. Then Anjali held arnav's hand and Raizada's provided them shelter. For khushi it was Garima(being het maternal aunt she might be more closer to her that time) and Gupta's.

While Khushi expanded her world by making everyone her own, Arnav shrank his world to Di. During Holi, Khushi wholeheartedly accepted Anjali as her Di without even a hinge of hesitation. I am glad CVs took up and executed this comparison track really well!!👏

Lovely episode!

Another stone laying episode for future track!

👍🏼Things I liked👍🏼

ASR bathing in public! Well I don't know abt others [yet to read analysis], but I loved the scene!

Khushi, wanting to show ASR the real class was good!

ASR feeling humiliated was apt! But its 100% sure, he wl forget the humiliation, he will only remember the lesson, khushi wanted to teach him.

ASR ordering for food! Thinkng about all family members, he ordered as per taste, as per his POV.

Perfect ASR character.

I think, the place where ASR and Khushi meet is this!

They both care for others. Others implies other people in their respective lives!

The difference is the way they care!

The subtle touch of gathering money and paying the food bill!😊

ASR, understanding the "warmth" extended by Guptas by paying the bill!😳

Khushi's reaction from anger/desperation to please/love/understanding/realization!😳

Shyam and mamaji encounter!

Mamaji knowing nothing but witnessing all !⭐️

ASR car stealing oops I mean car parts stealing😆

ASR-Khushi convo! Where once again they are on ROAD and now fighting😆

"jab sab mujhe nahate hue dekh sakte hain, to chillate hue kyun nahi"😆

Khushi again tasting her own medicine!

👎🏼Things I did not liked👎🏼

Well, today's episode was again a stepping stone episode and they have a tight storyline set! For that reason, loopholes are pretty less. Usually I dnt count bloopers, as it wud be many and I wil loose track😆, secondly, blooper never actually contribute to story!

From Story telling/acting perspective, till now I found nothng!

I have only 1 complain, which I am telling from looong time!

Why There is no interaction of Khushi with her bauji? She was so close to him. Why there is nothng??

All -- I liked today's episode especially the whole food fiasco from beginning to end -- gave an insight into all the characters.

I noticed something that Khushi said today -- she said that Arnav's suspicions/predictions are wrong like the weatherman's predictions --- would the analyzers in this thread shed some light on this... are the CVs saying that we are wrong when we think that the MU will end or are we wrong on the way the MU will end ?

As the saying goes " the whole world is a stage and we are all actors".actors wear different masks at different times ...they try to improvise ...sometimes go over board with it ...sometimes fail in their perception of the role or the situation...That is what is happening to Arnav and Khushi...

I will not elaborate but briefly touch on what I feel.Khushi is learning about Arnav and correcting her mistaken beliefs about him...though arnav is developing respect for the gupta's ,learning the ways and thereal affections of people who he calls so calls" low class" ,he is just reinforcing his mistaken believes about Khushi even though there is a tug of war going on between his heart and his head...
As usual Pam doods, Anna...wonderful analysis

Hmm i had decided nt to watch the epi, but i did:( .

Things that clicked and dint click for me

Clicked:

1. Arnav was sitting in the head of the family position in dining table👍🏼

2. Arnav ordering food (what else can he do after Kushi making GH serve him bland food) and Garima/Bua paying the bill in his absence.👍🏼

Arnav feeling guilty that they had to pay the bill👍🏼, this is why i love this character. When he learns he is wrong he does feel guilty for it than going yada yada and giving bashans.

3. Loved how he ordered food for everyone, he considered them as his family as well and took care of everyones choice and nt only for himself. Such small gestures make the show so watchable. Adorable scene. 👍🏼

Though Kushi has been torturing him like anything, he did keep in mind her taste of food and ordered for everyone.

Arnav is nt good at showing his emotions nor he does attract ppl by his talking goody but his acts shows his care/love/affection/feel everything. His voice was so mellow, he was trying to please them as well😳

This is what even guptas were touched with.

4. Bua and Garima touched by his humility .

Loved Bua moving air cooler towards him and he saying ji , buaji😆

5. Kushi's anger dropping and feeling happy for how he ordered food for all , she knew buaji and garima dint like pastas yet she way happy by his gesture. She was touched👍🏼

6. Kushi giving money to her family frm her business income. 👍🏼

7. Shyam finally got the Key's done.👍🏼 And again it is Mama who saw him, first time while leaving electric wire in pool it was mama who saved Anjali and now again we see Mama in picture while Shyam is on his plans..

8. Arnav's dialogue - " Its ok for people to see me bath, but its not ok for us to fight"👍🏼

9. Precap . Always felt that Arnav is nt calling garima as amma coz of his mom and his love towards her that he cannot give that place to any. very nice they touched his past again.

I really hope Kushi again wnt get back at him for nt calling garima as amma and tries to understand him atleast regarding his mom's sentiments

10. Shashi's smile at his damaad😍 , He liked his SIL👍🏼

11. Arnav teaching Bua and garima how to use fork 👍🏼 cute scene

12. Kushi's expression when he gets the spicy one for her👍🏼

Now i wanto see her eating it, M sure she wnt like it but still i wanto see her expressions while she eats it, she seems to be touched😳

Dint Click:

1. Arnav's baby trust on Kushi trips again because of Kushi herself.

He trusted her and went out and she made a joke of him

Bathing act was crass , absolutely hated kushi's antics, manipulation and smile here.

I hv ranted enough bout it already, i hated it and she is getting on my nerves with her antics rather than on Arnav.

2 or 3 ppl take bath here daily , how many times has she taken bath their then if that is her society which she wants to introduce him with??

Hope someone shows her what asli zindagi is coz whatever she is showing him that aint any asli zindagi.. its crap.

Her intention was to humiliate him and she did it well.

Whatever she is dng, Arnav is coming out morally stronger and wiser to me here.

2. Bua and Garima nt saying kushi anything about how she took him to public for bathing.

Rest of the epi i loved it.

Random thought's:

1. Did happyji steal all the spare parts??😆

2. While i like that Kushi wants Arnav to address her mom as amma, but i wud sincerely want kushi to stop pushing her wishes on few matter, even with LA she was too pushy, what ever Arnav does should be frm his heart, if he ever calls garima amma then it should be coz he wants to not bcoz kushi wants to. It makes differences.

3. BS still looks so ill to me specially dining table scene and can CVs plz stop stripping him so often

But his expressions were damn good in all the scenes

4. videshi khana for GH people😆

Cvs are obsessed with desi stuff, and showing lower middle class ppl as equal to labour class

@tanthya: one of your great write-ups I have read so far. You have really unfolded the episode nicely & gently. The contrast between Arnav-Bubbly reception was really unique. Only the previous day I was wondering these two are doing the same stuff – refusing someone else to consider as mother figure. I do have a feeling now Bubbly will be important to Khushi soon – she is not here for Payal only.

Bathing scene really well explained – what touched me though about the incident was how Arnav was interacting with Khushi, trusting her following her lead and even after realizing what was happening, didn't make much fuss about it – which is very uncommon for our very know ASR. Khushi's plan is working, I must say – he has begun to feel the difference and that too positively. While watching this scene, I recalled, this is the same man who said once that the dress a man wears makes him what he is. I am sure he will change his view soon. "Hum tho khilathe hain , par yeh khaathe nahi " – this dialogue struck me too and you have well explained. J

Thanks for discussing the difference between symbol & metaphor. Though I had a thorough study on that once still it confuses me sometimes! It was a great read where you draw the comparison between Shyam & Arnav. I hope the realization dawns on Khushi & the Gupta women soon. But the last scene really did not give you anything? LOL.. I always keep the analysis to be done by you guys and prefer to enjoy the show. But this scene somehow told me a repetition is coming of the same (of course, not Arnav's losing everything!) or may be Arnav will realize everything is not done by Khushi!! and Khushi's leaving with "come inside when your parts are gone too" really struck me. Don't know if those meant anything at all!
