Your ram my Ravan😉
Arnav and Ram analogy was a fresh perspective. He was always the Ravan for me! Since the serial came after the much hyped ravan of mani ratnam, it was easy to correlate. Arnav the ravan and shyam the ram, on swapped molds of hero and villain. When I thought about it more, I was surprised at the similarities. Thought of putting it down, hope it makes a good read.
The Vedavati curse, reincarnation and revenge! - Isn't it similar to Khushi humiliation in lacknow and her rebirth in delhi? Remember her swearing in the dharga that if she get a chance again, she will teach arnav a lesson. She came back and is definitely creating havoc in his life (no, i did not mean the OTT annoying tricks, i meant she being the main reason behind arnav's heartbreaks)
Ram - Sita vanvas - 😉Shyam - khushi(Ouch someone just hit me , please pardon my weird imagination) . For me it was Shyams life at Gupta house. shyam left the riches behind and started living with GH and sita. The relationship bond is the vanvas analogy. By almost the end of it, sita is abducted. At the end I am sure shyam will choose his kingdom and riches over khushi and dump our sita in the murky forest of disgrace.
Sisterly love triggering sita abduction - It is the sibling love of arnav that triggered the abduction of sita. History says it is because of lust and we know history is the biased version of the winner mostly. But the underlying reason is nevertheless his love for his sister. To keep his sisters love safe and sound and within her reach.
Sita abduction - Forced marriage. The way he lured her into the marriage showing the maya deer of payesh wedding and mami. Cutting the wings of jadayu -> breaking the relationships which define khushi.
Sita and Asoka van - Khushi condemned to live near the pool side. May be too symbolical. Still ravan did not touch her or rather kept her purity intact. Similarly, our arnav did kept her dignity and purity intact, in front of others.
The Sita - Ravan convo is an important chapter in ramayan I guess. It is mostly sita's effort to guide ravan in the path of goodness. I am sure there are lot more. Ravan - arnav anagram, khushi - the adopted daughter.⭐️, arnav - the king with riches beyond comparison and the knowledgeable one with a brain(=10 brains 😆). I am not sure if it a mere coincidence or creative brilliance. Oh I can not say how much I love this show😳
