Agree. Sometimes I wonder too. When Kushi is at the receiving of a bad situation, I ve seen this expression on Shyam's face. I think this is the uniqueness of this villain and why he won the award. He is not your average Villain. He can be very charming and deceptivly convincing.

well the line b/w lust and love is not too thick... ..not that it helps his cause but if there is lust he sure does have some feelings for her...

Every time I see Shyam's face, I laugh. He's a clown. He is the least threatening villain in television history.

I think his face was more like, "What are you doing khushi?! Stop making a fool of yourself and of the entire Raizada family (especially me) and go back stage!"

sometimes i do feel... bechara, he really appeared to be a good guy and was so caring towards her initially... but then revealed his true colours... complex character again... cares for her, hurts her family, loves her, plans to get her, hurts her, forces her to like him, lusts for her, feels bad for her...

As if having a pregnant wife whom he doesn't love, no money in his account, a revengeful brother-in-law who married the one he thought would one day be his wife and searching for random files in locked cupboards dont already occupy his mind..

nahin re, they showed him feeling bad for khushi a few more times as well..

It is a very intersting character to watch and Abbahs does is best !

When they showed the audience, my eyes went straight to him..his expressions were totally worth watching. He seemed genuinely upset for Kushi thus throwing us off for a sec. Fantastic portrayal by Abbas !

yeah, usually the villains in indian serials are bad 100%...they can't tolerate one good thing about anyone and try to make everyone's life horrible for no reason..but what i like about shaym is that he has shades for positivity as well..for example, he doesnt go out of his way to torture the raizadas...he even tries to help them..e.g. when he persuaded nani to ler la live in RM so ASR doesnt leave..
