Always consume Kheer and Ganja separately -- mixing it can never be good, much like mixing your drinks, I suppose. Though, in this country I am not allowed to legally drink yet. Unless I go to Goa! :) So I am forced to pick Team Kheer.

After the MU started, all though I hated, the premise of it, as the MU itself was punchless, I was ready to enjoy the intense scenes of discomfort, hatred, inability to communicate or understand the situation, inability to share or solve, the anger, frustration, angst of both the leads. I didn't care if that was going to be for 2 months or 6 months. But I was expecting at least couple of episodes like the episode where Kushi (Sanaya lost her voice) confronts ASR. Sanaya was superlative. She gave Kushi such dimension that we all rooted for her refusal to wither into a withering and wilting SP Bahu. Then the confession of I hate you and I hate you more. Barun and Sanaya gave such powerful emoting through their eyes and voices, I was of the mind, if this is what the track is going to be, I don't care Love was poisoned at the early stages. Other than those two episodes, it has been a segregated, disjointed, new episode everyday. Everyday they picked an idea from a bucket.

Wait, what about the people who actually love the show, want to know what is happening with MU since last 2 months. Oh. We believe their patience is 2 months. We will insert an episode where ASR will remember how disgusting of a human being Kushi is. He will tell her she is filthy minded and has filthy thoughts and does filthy deeds. He will hurt her and we will make it look unintentional, will throw in some physical elements to the rage and revenge and we will have Kushi utter serious and powerful dialogues. All those people will go away basking under the opportunity to sharpen their feministic claws, and sarcastic and caustic vocabulary and they will discuss for next two months how they love the show but can't leave the show.

Then we will go back to the other hat for more ideas.

Idea 1 - Dabba Service

Idea 2 - Lip Reading

Idea 3 - How to transform a private Honeymoon into a public awkward show.

Idea 4 - Singing via Sneezing Competition

Idea 5 - Kitchen Politics

Idea 6 - Fancy Dress Competition

Idea 7 - 10 - Different Rasams, including Tomato, Tamarind and Honeymoon.

So for me, now a days, what I do not understand are the episodes which actually takes the story forward, like the Monday episode where we saw Shyam in action, the terrace flashbacks, and the forced hatred and damaging words between the leads. They seem so out of place in a comedy track which has been going on for 4 weeks. I have finally settled this to be a Indian Television version of Seinfeld type sitcom, where one episode has no bearing on a previous episode. Just the characters are the same, but the episode is based on nothing. Actually nothing. HenceSeinfeld was a show about nothing. I just resigned myself to the fact, this show is about nothing. Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Nothing.

So, in closing, what is out of place is inserting a story arc like they did on Monday. What is jarring is bringing in intensity to the characters. What is laughable is suggesting these are star crossed lovers. What is not going to fit anymore in this show is words, Nafrat, Mohabbat, Pyaar, Dard. What works well will be kaakroche, callity, Hanging Gardan and worrying on how to repay the safety pin you borrowed 16 years ago.

Is it any wonder that the most consistent character in the show Laxmi also refuses to be seen too many times nowadays?

And my point was they have defied logic at that point in such a manner, that they will never ever be able to cover it up again. They will be littering loopholes all over.
