Hi Wesha,
Loved the Kheer & Ganja Post. Tongue in cheek indeed! But the personification and relating it to the show was awesome 👏.
Well... Kheer... ohhh dear... the sligltly extra sweet Kheer which drives you mad with its calorie but you cant help love it... it spreads joy and happiness while it melts in your mouth...
As for Ganja... it is the intoxicating one... it lures one and makes them dreamy eyed and addicted to its whiff, making one forget all its ill side effects and just continue to float in fantasy land.. even if one knows when it cant be good for their health!!
And having ganja is supposed to make one eat more... so... one ends up wanting more Kheer, just like Ganja does 😉😉
However, here is what I am hoping will be different in teh new age story of Kheer & Ganja.
Just like in some countries you get cannabis cake... maybe.. if we are lucky ... we will get a new dish of Ganja Kheer! The Ganja will reduce the sweetness of Kheer probably but will make it more intoxicating and the Kheer will make the Ganja more palatable!!
And we will all live happily ever after 😉😛😆.
again...Awesome awesome post!!!
- Khushi.

Kheer and Ganja*

What an apt name you thought of.. I wish I could have Ganja just before 8PM on weekdays, or at least atleast today...maybe I needed that poison filled sweet instead 😕

full of beans...😆
Kheer = Yum Yum
Gunja = Yummier
Now I stop you right here and ask - If you are given a cup of kheer to eat and Ganja to smoke, which would would you choose...
Kheer gives you happiness in your first spoon, but then after that the sweetness will get to you, make you pukish and in the end you will also end up gaining weight..
Ganja is difficult the first time, but once you understand it, you will realise it doesnt make you gain weight, it keeps you high all the time.
Do you need anything else? Why would you need anything else?
Love of Ganja > Love of Kheer
effect of Ganja Intoxication is better than aftereffects of eating kheer.
Need I say more?
Conclusion
Don't mix, Smoke neat
The smell of his already seductive pheromones kept coming so strong that even people who were on the completely other side of the world started having hallucinogenic effects. - I can see where you are going with this dear.

Khushi is no kheer and Arnav is no ganja. I think that analogy would more aptly fit the lead pair of Gautam Hegde's other show.

Khushi may be sweet, but underneath that creamy, sweet comforting exterior is a soul of steel. This is why she's my favourite because she's hardly a pushover. She never sits back and accepts her fate and always demands answers from Arnav. A less petulant, hard-headed man would have given in by now.

Arnav is no ganja because ganja mellows you out, gives you dreams, contentment, a sense of bliss. There's no bliss in the proximity of Arnav. There is no joy in loving him, but since our heroine has fallen hard for him, she's gone beyond the point of reflection.

Let me strike a contrarian note here - I'm one of the few that has overall enjoyed the show in the post MU phase. I've liked the reconciliation of Khushi with her and Arnav's family, Khushi starting her business (which I loved), the emotional back and forth between Arnav and Khushi ('cause life's messy and progression in relationships is seldom steady and linear). I also liked the faint beginnings of a sane relationship between Payal and her sasuma.

edited to add: appropox of kheer and ganja I mean Heer and Ranjha, the bit I liked best today was the dressing room conversation after the play. And if anyone thinks there aren't men like Arnav who mind-f--k you a 100 ways, well consider yourself lucky 😊

Subha, you see everything. Don't you?? 😉 Love the inequation. And love the advice - Smoke Neat. Lick Neat too. No adulteration at all.

Thanks Dear for the lovely comment. 😊

Oh what a delightful combination - Kheer and Ganja. The sweet intoxication. It is a great recipe for addiction, don't we know?

If only the makers realize that making Kheer more acidic and Ganja less potent is going to be fatal to the future of the brewery.

The addiction needs to be fulfilled by the same concoction. Altered "chemistry" won't do. Is someone listening

Thanks Swatidi. 😊 Love your definition of Kheer and Ganja too. Yours are all the pros of it.
As to the story after the MU - to each her own. I am actually glad that you always hold your ground so well. I tried to explain to you once why I felt the non-linearity in the story was rather TRP-induced instead of all of it being based on reality. But you might know something that I don't know. And maybe sometime later, i will love to have discussion with you to know more about your PoV. But thanks again for your reply.
