^^ same here, diya.. they might just label this week as fancy dress competition of Maami & Payal *head desk* i just hope aside from that, we get arnav-shyam face-off. we've seen on friday how arnav cancelled the transfer to shyam's bank account but transferred to anjali's. hope this part builds up at least so that the story can progress further and when san's back, she might get the truth.

- i hope i made a li'l bit of sense here. buck up cv's!

I do not understand why people in this forum keep bringing up that Khushi owes Rs 30k to ASR. I think the books are balanced - didn't she work for FREE planning and arranging Arnav-La's engagement and also tolerating his snide comments?
Now that I think of it, Arnav is such a cheapskate. He got his engagement party arranged without paying for a planner and got married without any fuss again using Payash wedding party to announce his own. And the list continues...he doesn't bother to spend any money on his wife for a wardrobe. He gives her only what she demands i.e. Rs 300/-...wouldn't have hurt him had he given her a hundred or two more :)

No, I am not complaining that she didn't re-pay. It would have been a nice touch had she thought of it. It would have been consistent with her character, her belief system.

I don't think ASR ever wanted her to either. That was a glimpse of the generous side of Arnav we got to see. I wish they were more consistent in portraying glimpses of their past instead of mindless filler episodes. They have plenty of opportunities to do so especially when one of the leads are on vacation.

Pinky, Sanaya has apparently shot her scenes before going, whether those are going to be more of the same office/get thrown out track or will just be close ups, we'll find out ...

but yes, they can now concentrate on Arnav-Shyam-Anjali scenes, maybe even throw in some Arnav-Payal - Akash - I like the bromance and the mutual respect Arnav and Payal have for each other ...

and we will get more fashion show this week for sure ... I'm more favourably inclined to Mami after watching her enthusiasm in SPA ... she was so cute! As jumpy and excited as the younger cast - real fun!

savi - that's what Arnav's Diary was all about 😆 ... just watched the IPKKND parts of SPA again ... banda is such a cheapskate 😉 - didn't pay Khushi for her four days work, for her wedding planner job, got married saste mein ... and now doesn't even give his wife an allowance!

And agree with Sari he didn't want her to pay that back, neither did he want the one lakh, he forgot about it after the GH incident, realising he had been so underhand in his methods. But she could remember, and the use of flashbacks of these moments would be so much better than leaving it all up in the air. Again, it's not a movie, it's a daily soap with unlimited time ... give us relevant flashbacks, show us that the leads actually have a thinking process ... and we won't complain about the pace!

@Sari: as others have said, super post chica... thanks for bringing Khushi's motivations up in a new light. I like the idea of an emotionally stunted 8 year old Khushi. And here we thought Arnav was the only emotionally stunted one! 😉

Two things though about 8 year old girls:

1. Those that I know seem super put together and none of them would pull stunts like Khushi. Only my nephew who is 2 spits on people and throws pasta on the wall! Khushi's acting out seems more like someone stuck in the terrible twos! 😆 .

2) Khushi only seems to act like a petulant child when the show needs comedy --- so the switch in tone and mood seems convenient rather than organic to the character.

The thing that's frustrating to me about Khushi is that most times she's so heartbreakingly mature and generous. One of my fave Khushi scenes was during that terrible rona-dhona phase when Sanaya lost her voice. Khushi in bridal attire sits down calmly at Arnav's feet and explains how she's been orphaned all over again. But she's not been accusing and angry - she simply wants to understand why she had to pay such a terrible price. He had to have had a reson to put her thru all that. Sanaya was marvellous in that scene despite her voice being dubbed for. I watch that and then I see the spitting and the yelling and I don't know how it's possible for individual to do such a 180 degree! But then Sari, as I've noted before you're simply a more empathetic (read better) person than I am 😃

@Shiela - Have you noticed her tantrums are only with those that really care for her; mostly Arnav & Payal. Coz he really gives her no choice. She does it a little bit w/Payal but Payal being the mature one talks her out of it.

But my man, ASR hasn't figured out how to handle this side of her yet. But soon he will, like the Mandir scene when she ran away. She loved that he claimed ownership & carried her away & this time he looked at her & she did see something in his eyes to calm her down. All she needs is a hug, a confirmation that he cares😳

It is an attention getting behavior because of lack there of. She is shown to be very mature with everyone else. But with those that truly love her, she knows she can be a brat & get away with it. That is a child indeed.

^^ Shiela, at the cost of being thought a retard 😉, I have run around the room chasing my brother when we were already in college - I think we were in our early twenties, - for something completely idiotic ... and both of us jumping on sofas and chairs, while my parents watched us and laughed 😆 and told us to grow up! And fighting about who gets to go for a shower first when we were in high school - though we'd be fighting to go second, not first 😆 So yep, silly bathroom fights, who gets the cupboard, the bed ... acceptable, especially when she's trying to be her irritating worst ... But the OTT screaming and shrieking got me!!!

And she has been shown to be labile ... swinging between child and woman ... she reserves her worst childishness for Arnav though ... the moment Anjali entered she was all well behaved and grown up. But the same issue - Sanaya is good at comedy, so those scenes tend to be thrown in without regard to the growth of the character as a whole ... and without regard to her thought processes about her current situation ...

How I wish Sanaya had had her own voice during that scene you mentioned, it would have made it so much better! Such a beautiful scene that was!

*edited* - I just said what Sari had already said - she said it much better!

Diya, I do take the point that we all have our moments of brattiness (god knows you don't want a full confession of mine 😆). It's just that segment in bold which you articulated also that bothers me ----- it's sometimes so random that it doesn't serve the character that portrait that Sari sketched so well.

That scene of Khushi's may be my fave ---- somehow it doesn't even matter that the voice was not Sanaya's --- she was just that good

Yes, Sari was fab at interpreting Khushi. Sari, I think you softened my view of Khushi considerably ---- so thanks for that empathetic view. Arnav, better give her lots of hugs, he's on a short leash! 😡
