I also feel in addition to educating our young women, we need to educate our young men even more to make them understand that is NEVER ok to abuse a woman. Boys learn by observing their dads and women of the house have a responsibility to teach boys about respecting their women friends, siblings, colleagues or in society.
iyai I am much deviated from the reel now and cant help it...as far as abuse goes yes education and financial stability is imp and social change in thinking...but abuse is a multi headed deamon and sometimes takes form in the best educated wealthy incarnations ...the hardest to battle...the psych too...choices today are made today and sometimes go against one would take as norm for eg I know a domestic worker who chose to educate her daughter as opposed to her two sons (this is one of many) and people I went to school with...who got married after yr 12 because society deemed so..now I am not saying these women are potetials for abuse its just to say that men and women are subject to abuse and they dont present themselves in our stereo typical understanding of same...
now coming back to story ASR presented as suave but aggression + jealousy made him the antithesis of same...
Khushi...now how are they going to redeam her love story whose to tell love the world of telly and trps!!!!!!
