uuurggh it's just even more fustrating to see our forum trying to defend his actions. I actually can gulp down ASR's ways. He's messed up and we all know it. But seriously defending him like this? And coming up with lame excuses for that too 😕

I understand the devotion towards the character of ASR - he is charismatic, charming with looks that can kill. But there in lies the danger, we are willing to forgive a characters abuse because he is an eye candy.

What upsets me the most is ASR is supposedly "upscale", "up-market" guy. And this behavior is straight out of the slums of Delhi. Really ASR? you call yourself an educated and successful young man and is this what education taught you? You can be mad at khushi with your indifference or hate but abuse?

Couldn't help but add, read somewhere that it was "so sweet" of ASR to give her the blanket (chuck it at her!) and that this act of his shows he still loves and cares for her'Ummm'no'.it wasn't sweet of him. So drag her outdoors, chuck her a blanket and s'alright??? 😆

What would have been 'sweet' is if he'd actually let his WIFE sleep in the room, INSIDE the room, not out in the cold'.OUTSIDE, windy, wet, cold, outside???'..

thats why the article stressed that he would really hurt her...and ppl jumped into conclusions that he would rape her😆would it get worse than wht happened today?i mean some were happy that asr slept on the couch not on the bed..

I know! I read that as well, the whole 'oh no but see, he didn't sleep in the bed either, so they're equal now'…..🤔

😆 yes, he slept in the warmth of his room she on the hard concrete floor by the poolside, he is under his own roof, she was forced to quit her home, her family and simply disappear among draperies of RM! This sounds like an age old racist rant we heard in the US in the 60s "Separate, but Equal". Separate is not equal.

Anne and Smriti,
These women I am talking about need help , firstly financial help.
I can proudly say that I come Bangladesh which is the country wher Dr. Yunus invented the microcredit system for poor women ( Awarded Nobel Prize) and made many many women independent . These women are mostly and formally not educated and earlier had no financial means .

Without the financial stability assurance no woman can raise their voice and especially if they are mothers of daughters.
Much depend on how we bring up our daughters .Do we try to ingrain in them the idea that tshe has to get married and getting a good groom is the primary objective of her life , or we try our best to give her the same education as our son and make her first financially independent and then talk about marriage .
For us , who can afford the same quality of education to all our children we can do that, but for peole who can only afford to educate one - ( in India/South Asia) the choice will of course be the son .
I dont think this production house will show Khushi as educated and intelligent as Saachi ( female lead charater BHPH) who discussed with her perdsonal lawyer and changed the marriage contract paper .
At least they should give Khushi the guts to stand back and protest the way she is being treated. If not by educated means , at least by kitchen politics .

yes, they wont change a thing in the story line, and I know this post is just my rant because I saw what I didn't like and decide to call it out. But I will still call their bluff. They are preying on fan loyalties and pushing the buttons where they dont need to push them.

I also feel in addition to educating our young women, we need to educate our young men even more to make them understand that is NEVER ok to abuse a woman. Boys learn by observing their dads and women of the house have a responsibility to teach boys about respecting their women friends, siblings, colleagues or in society.

well said, especially the memo to young girls. It looks all glamorous and passionate on screen, but in real life this can quickly turn into hell. I am a consummate ASR drooler, but I like my brooding sexy men to struggle with their inner feelings without being cruel.

Had ASR told her to sleep on bed, had he told her not to expect anything from him because she doesn't deserve it, had he simply taken his stuff out of the room and slept elsewhere, I'd have rejoiced over his classiness. But this is regressive behavior.

yeah, its drama, but drama is supposed to entertain us. and today was no entertainment, it was depravity at its best.

very well said napstermonster specially the last para...I dont think any girl would ever tolerate such kind of behavior not me at least...no matter even if he looks liek a greek god...I dont care how hot he looks or how much I am love with the guy...the moment he manhandles me he is a JERK and needs to know the limits..

Smriti di : very well said !!
I would have danced with rejoice if he had gone elsewhere and let his delicate wifey sleep on the bed...thats what I expect from ASR - the gentleman not this...this is what a character like *ahem ahem* would do...( I hope u got it who I am talking about) 🤔
nothing can redeem what he is doing to Khushi...poor girl is being bashed from all the sides and thay bloody payalya had my blood boiling even more.I wish I could smack her face😡

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to the people on this thread! It makes me realise I'm not the only one out there with views like this.

Being a young woman not in a relationship, I know for a fact that I would never tolerate this kind of behaviour! I read on fb someone wrote that "in real life husbands do a lot worse and get away with it". It really annoys me people still think like this!

I also love ASR to pieces (and do occasionally drool excessively over him), but nuh uh, this show isn't about a social message like Pratigya, Maryada etc. It's meant to be a love story. And there's not a lot about it I'm loving right now 😭

I just realized one thing...they always show this message at the bottom of the screen saying that if there is any complaint in terms of what is being shown in the drama or something is highly unethical than we can contact the broadcasting dept...
I dont have the exact message with me right now but do you guys think we should go forward with it??

Please I really love this show and I dont want it to get ruin like this...
I cannot buy that ASR is shown like this...I love him loads but that love cannot justify his actions at all...not today

SJ, the bold lines have always puzzeled me. ALways. Most of his actions does not even speak of him as an intelligent man. The fact thta he lets his emotions take control of him to this level is not the quality of a shrewd clever bussinesman because you can't excel in bussines (or anything for that matter) with such a temperement.
And him being up-market! Please. I don't think even the lowest of men living in the slums would actually resort to this.
