Sushpective:IPKKND really a diff kind of soap? - Page 5

I started watching IPKKND for the same reasons too... being from the states, the only exposure I had to this world was through my mom lol... & surprise surprise, I'm more hyped over this show than the other American shows I watch...

For me this is the 2nd show of SP [other is SGP] I watched in my lifetime... couple of reality shows of SP watched...also dislike even Zee's sas bahu shows... I watched many Star one & some of Sony shows like Kaajal,Sanjivani & its sequel DMG , Diya Tony shows...totaly different plot, like as Jassi, LRL, radha ki betiyan, BHPH... even liked love story & remix of sab tv, Color's BV , LTL & Muktibandhan... started watching IPK only for Barun-Sanaya... loved them cause of their previous work.. till date watched all Sanaya's show [ like her from mjht & Barun from BHPH]... i saw promos & leads r Sarun, still hesitating to start SP show, but give a chance, if not O K will quit after 8-10 epi... but from 4-5 epi, was interested so much that eagerly waited for next epi... and my faith in leads Barun-Sanaya was not delusional... rather I will say both acted superbly & impressed me beyond my expectation, they have crossed their own bars... in previous shows both were good , but in IPK they r par excellance, specially Barun steals the show in each frame of the scene where he is present, with or without dialogues... in short watch till now & for future also only for leads, Arhi-- Sarun ... many times loose or filler epi, less interest, occasionally happens... but then Arhi is there to make up the interest... ASR's character is written so well & Khushi is so different & opposite to him--- that makes their chemistry interesting & focus of attraction that keep me glued to the show & forum too [ to read more of Arhi & the show, about symbolism & brilliant posts from many of the members ].. for TRP & to pull story, some drama & twists r expected & pardenable too... but in all Arhi [Barun-Sanaya ] did not disappoint me till date... so for sure can give the PH chance for as many weeks they need to make Arhi realise their true love... intensity of their love will be worth watchable... their relationship will be more matured... both will love, respect & trust each-other more than ever they had before, real soul-mates...many scenes will be there of their heart to heart talk... till now not a single such type of conversation between Arhi... so for me many interesting things r their in future episodes... will wait to see all Arhi's real emotional moments... thanks

i disagree with about shyam plot. and even if it seems similar to other stories even with a little kitchen politic here and there, it still manages to have a different essence and feel even with all that stuff, i guess manly because the ipk team knows what the audience wants and try their best to not become like the shows such as SNS OR DABH. but i guess if you think its like every other serial then thats fine. when you compare our show to all the others on indian tv atm, ipk kitchen politics as everyone likes to say is far less compared to them, but other shows rely heavily on kitchen politics unlike our show. but this is my pov thats all

as for the shyam plot, i dont really mind it. even though iss pyaar may have kitchen politics here and there. but ts has a different essence and feeling. even with all that stuff. we should be thankful that its not like pretty much every show on indian tv atm, which rely heavily on kitchen politics, unlike our show which does focus on arnav and khushi love and their journney. the difference for me is that the ipk team know what we want and know that we don't like kitchen politics even though they put it in, its far less compared to the other shows. kitchen politics and all that is unavoidable anyways every show i watch whether its indian, arabic or asian. they all of thave this type of stuff and similar story line. the difference is some know how to handle it and i feel that ipk are doing a good job. i guess if you think it's nothing special that's fine. but i do feel its far ahead of the other shows on currently, just be glad its nothing like that.

yes for me its different i agree with zu ipk has a strong characterization compared to any other show which has been running on different channels. i am not talking about Doordharshan era 😆

and more importantly i feel that IPK has always be predictably unpredictable, we all knew Arhi will get married by the time shyam truth comes out infront of arnav. but what kind of marriage
and also that will he continue to hate her or love her.

i have watched on and off k-shows and even nissars show
DMG and MJHT and geet
i have even watched SNS and sasur ghenda pool and BHPH
i had actually stopped watching any daily show regularly for quite sometime

i have to say that none of the shows whatever i watched could keep my attention for more than 3 to 4 months. may be i am more comfortable that IPK will always have leads together because of PH and we will have romantic doses because of nissar (he is the best 👏)

but i always felt DMG and MJHT had less drama . because it was catering to different audience. i hope IPK will have its fair share of drama.

Thats the precises reason i do not find shyam character as unwanted element. he is very much required. The shows is about arhi how they love each other, are thrown at each other due to fate but cant love each other openly again due to fate. This is the concept that got me hooked to the show.
Now will CVs continue to get innovative ideas to keep them together yet separate. i keep telling to Zu actually sometime i really feel bad for CVs . we should leave them to do their job . because n people watching will have n number of opinions.
The should use IF or any other forum like this to get some innovative idea but should not full go with what audience cry for .
IF they keep arhi together and their marriage was normal wont we get bored easily. what different it will be from sasural ghenda phool or yeah rista kya kehelata hai.

and also reel dramas will have to be little bit exaggerated i wish they start putting disclaimers before IPK epi starts . or do they do it even now.

its fine if they make some blunders once in a while because even they cant be 100% perfect all the time. but if they do not come back on track then i will not like it
