I guess after reading some spoiler I got a bit worried.

Anyway...I guess I should not jump the gun here and start getting riled up! Om Shanti Shanti!!

Best is to wait and watch...and then complain 😆

sbk2, you and i are soul mates in our zero tolerance on physical violence 😊. I suspect though that the writers are not catering to viewers with our uber sensitivity to physical hurt. But as you say, we should wait and see how it plays out!

It is all about how he feels at the moment Shwets (and how she does too)...The one above...wasn't enjoyable ...because he had complete hate in his mind...but rememberthis one...? Similar kind of arm position...but his frame of mind was different and hers too...so it worked differently...
Arnie boy seems to like a bit of rough play...can't change that😆😆😆😆😆

Call me Shweta 😃
And yes...I have zero tolerance for any kind of physical violence in the name of passionate love.
I love this serial and the lead pair..the only Hindi one I watch...so I will continue watching...and complaining if something they show doesn't appeal to me 😆

@ Sush: yes...his intense hatred coupled with her wincing sound kind of made yesterday's scene appear in a totally different light to me.

Ditto on both points! Sush, you're right that the motivation/emotion behind the physical move is important. I think the standard issue M&B/Harlequin heroes also get a bit rough much like our Arnav bitua 😊. It's just that in Indian movies/TV, there is a tendency to justify violence towards women in the name of love. My stance may move the needle all the way in the other direction, but without that I think it's hard to change mindset.

@docgirl and Shwets...CVs for IPKKND have walked a fine line between physcal aggression and passion...

Fo example, it is disgusting to see Shyamu hugging her forcibly and bruising her arm durng sangeet...Equally bad is the fact that Arnie has behaved in unjustiiale way witn physical agression crossing the line many times...be it dropping he from his office, or threatening to do badtameezee with her at the fasshion show or brusing her arm with his grip many times...

They need to be careful...there is a way to show passionate romance...which is yes...not all kosher...and making it an abuse...Lets see where their sensbilities are...

I'm not surprised that Arnav didn't think this through thoroughly, he has never believed in getting married as he never planned to. He has never had anyone question him because he's become used to his word being final and like always only realizes the consequences of his knee jerk decisions later.

The six months was a bad last minute move by the CVs and the only thing I can think of for this is because they are trying to figure out what to do next.

Sush, this is definitely one of the knee jerk reactions of Arnie. I am not sure whether he has not thought about the consequences this will have on kushi or does he want to punish her. She asked him in Friday epi : Why are you punishing me" so the writers may show this as his way of punishing her for jilting him. Ofcourse the primary reason being to protect his Sis for the time being...I dont give too much thought into the 6 mths clause as it looks to be a mess up by the writers.

He doesnt know that it will be a punishment of sorts for him also ..he will be in emotional turmoil day in and day out living with kushi in the same room..he just doesnt have an iota of what is coming!😉
From his reactions towards his family he has not thought about the way he will handle them..but it will be very sad to see kushi having to deal their queries...she herself doesnt know why he married her in such a way...this is going to be a definite hell for her for now. She is hit from all directions. And he will have a hell lot of making up to do.

I agree with you about the physical aggression part..they will keep it milder this time and it might not last more than 2 weeks. I could sense a sort of mending already in their relationship. With both families against them they will sure be left alone for some time now..which is good in sorts of tiding through it together.

very valid question sush. I was also wondering about this 6 month deal. and I totally oppose the idea that he will let khushi go wid the snake after this time. If he thinks like ASR he will definitely plan something to punish them. but for khushi hr will definitely cant do that as arnav will take over ASR.
but by marrying khushi by blackmailinh her and that too for only 6 months, he has already punished her hard.

Yes, its going to be hell for Khushi. As if it wasn't bad enough she was forced into this marriage, her family turning their back on her is going to really devastate Khushi. This is why I hope when Arnav finds out the truth he is not easily forgiven, I really want him to work hard to make this upto Khushi given what she is going through
I am liking the idea of both being isolated from their families and really being all each other have at this point, it will help Arnav get a better understanding of what Khushi is going through.

Mandy even I am hoping for that isolation from family..Anjali should push Arnie away from her for some time...too much of bro-sis we have seen...let this time away from his sis bring him closer to kushi. He too should understand how she feels when she is isolated from family...just showing kushi banned fom her family becomes too typical SP show..let it be both this time...looks really a good plot.😳

I so hope kushi doesnt give in so easily this time around...Mr.Raizada needs to really understand how privileged he is to have kushi in his life. I do want to see a seperation track then ...maybe not too long in best for my health😆
