I think,both left together to go upstairs but on the way,Anjali confronted Arnav,so unable to face her and to escape her,he rushed inside the room and locked it leaving behind the crying Khushi a small distance from the room...🥺

Yes, as much as I want Khushi to be in that room, I still highly doubt that Arnav would break down like that in front of her. Because that may cause her to ask him the reason behind it why he can't tell her, and I don't think we're going to see Arnav telling Khushi the reason behind what he did so soon.
