Hello Forumwasis

I am new here. I have been sitting on the sidelines for a while and reading and enjoying all the amazing posts. Aaj socha paon gile kar lete hain.

Firstly I want to applaud all you creative writers who make this forum such a interesting place to visit. To be honest I don't watch the show that much but infact I am a fan of this forum.

I dont drool over Arnav.. or Khushi but i drool over your writing capabilities. It absolutely amazes me that 20 minutes of mediocre TV (I know I am going to get chappals for this) can bring out such beautiful translations. In someways its like modern art where one can see so much in a mere line. As aptly said "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder".

Sometimes I feel that the CVs have created these characters but its like all of you have put life in them.
So thankyou writers for your time and effort in entertaining me. Gratitude is the least articulate of all emotions especially when it is deep.
So once again a heartfelt thanks to all of you.

I have always been meaning to ask you all what is your inspiration (apart from the love for these characters). We all are romantics here so I want to know what kind of romantic books are your favs what kind of authors pull your heartstrings. Not only books but celluloid too, which romantic tv and movies you will say is a must watch. please share ...

My all time favorite romantic book is Jane Eyre. I love Saratchandra, bankimchandra, Tagores charulata is one of my favorite heroines. bronte sisters work, Austen Gaskell, Dickens, walter scott... razia bhatt , farhat ishtiaq...haseena moin..the list goes on and on.
I would love to know what you read and watch. please share the most romantic movie or tv presentation you have seen.

Wow, what a deadly combination, Sarath Chander to Haseena Moin to Jane Eyre. Amazing, I have not read Bengali books as I don't know Bengali. But the rest yes, I do. You can also read Umera Ahmed. Well, our Serial is unique as the cast and crew. We travel with them, their joy and sorrows are merged with your existence. As poignantly mentioned our forums members enlighten our thinking capability.

Have a great day. India and pakistan both have such great literary heritage.

I hope that Indian television taps this mine of beautiful gems. Doordarshan used to do that but well than cable TV happened...

Mine has been, is, and will be forever Jane Austen and her works. Maybe that's why I am so hooked on this show...there are shades of the characters Elizabeth and Darcy in Khushi and ASR.
We had Trishna a television remake of Pride and Prjudice once on Doordarshan. Sangeeta Handa played Elizabeth Bennet's role and Tarun Dhanrajgir played Darcy's role. After that I think this is the next show that I enjoy. Given the overdosage of saas bahu serials on TV, this is refreshing..
Otherwise I'd prefer books to watching movies and shows anytime.😊
