@ Anu..I just think he would not use La as an emotional Pawn..why would he want to do thisto Khushi...I mean it was those TEARS ..and I do think he went for La because he thought it would make her happy and that is regardless whether she was going to be with La or not..she would come to know about it later
and if it had not been for Khushi but for his own emotional crutch to make him unavailable again or to protect him from KKG why would he do the thing he never wanted to do in the first place ...even if he realised that it is love ..why take on La ..i mean he doesn't need to prove anything to himself ..and he could live with that fact too..but I may be WRONG and you may be right..and when that happens..I will know ..that no one reads the caps like Anu does🤣

The way ASR character has been shown - I find it out of character for him to go back and get La because of the tears, particularly since he does not know if Khushi will ever find out and he will get the satisfaction of seeing her smile as he made sure she was paid in full so she would never come back. In the past, he has felt guilty about the tears but he has never done anything to this extent to quell them...until the apology - and heck, she cried when she was leaving also. I guess that is where my mind has got a block on this scenario. Once a NY cynic, always a NY cynic.
ASR never wastes anything - maybe he brought La back for both, keep Khushi at bay, keep family happy, and make her smile. One big happy meal!!
