Which begs the question - why haven't they done this before? It would have lent so much to the characters!!!

I complete agree here!!! I think he knew instantly that the greenhouse & the note were courtesy Khushi...and hence, the recollection of the last encounter leading to the anguish and self dialogue over her tears. His complete & utter bewilderment (wonderful job Barun!!!) while looking at Khushi's sad expression through the hug, I think, was testimony to the fact.

These are but interpretations as best as we understand them...only time will tell..

@current (Zainab, is it?? I am fairly new so am not aware of all the names yet!) I am a huge fan of "North & South" as well. Loved Richard Armitage's potrayal of Mr. Thornton. His expression (scowl & the brood) is quite akin to our ASR, don't you think?? Sometimes, I am not sure whether i like Richard Armitage's Thornton more or Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy...or now our own ASR!
Yes I too think ASR resembles Colin Firth's Mr Darcy! (as my name denotes I am a "Mr Darcy fan" as I beleive HE is the basis of the romatic hero in consequent Mills & Boon novles and variouse other romatic hero's since. HE is MY Standard for a "McDreamy" guy! :)
I NEVER thought in a million years that a guy playing an Indian Business tycoon in a daily soap would EVER come close to holding a candle to my Mr Darcy, but I have to say Barun Sobati is making me fall under the spell of his "ASR charm" on a daily basis!
Whenever I see him on the screen I can only think of this line...
"Jadu hain nasha hain, madahoshia, tujko bhulake ab jao kaha"? :)

Gosh...nobody has ever been able to sketch a more fascinating, an all encompassing (much like our ASR - arrogant, abrasive, prude on the outside and sensitive, caring, and passionate on the inside) romantic hero than Jane Austen & Elizabeth Gaskell (who, I believe, got a lot of inspiration from Charles Dickens). Not even our 21st century "Dr. McDreamy" (although, i am die hard fan of his - seven seasons and counting) comes close to our mid century creation. But ASR has all of the charisma and I can't wait for our dear Ms. Gupta to acknowledge what Ms. Benet did when she confides in her father near the end of the book - "He has indeed no improper pride"...

I am so tempted to watch the archives on youtube...

Hey Momma beautiful post as usual. And today's realization scene was just Brilliant!!! Barun and Sanaya were just outstanding with their expressions.👏Coming to the topic, about Arnav I don't think he realized yet about love but he realized that he cannot see her in pain, her tears melt his heart and that's the main reason he came to Lavanya. And I am not sure is it just me or did anyone notice that as soon as he enters the house he is still in ASR mode no emotions shown on his face but when he saw Kushi smiliing his eyes twinkle with happiness (the kind of twinkle we see in one's eyes when they are happy to see what they wanted) I really don't know how Barun does these kind of expressions with his eyes. He simply brings Arnav's character alive. Hats off to him.And then Kushi, I agree with you it was pain of loss. And she didn't even know that she wanted him for so long, Her heart was screaming in desperation and tears spill out in their own accord. and the realiztion Sanaya was just perfect, the way she jerked into reality.
and rest all you explained so no need to go into details but that scene was so touching. Waiting eagerly for tomorrow.
Just want to say one thing, without even realizing that they are in love they are doing so much for one another's happiness, God only knows waht will they do and will go to what extent when they realize their love.

heyy...great post..."its all in your head" quite a fitting title...

i loved the fact that we were finally privy to some monologue...i mean after episodes of stares which we tried deriving meaning to...finally voicing their opinions of why... is a good start...

im going to jump onto camp positive and say that even tho arnav hasnt really voiced any feelings of love and is still not going beyond the "why are her tears bothering me" i think like u said two things signified a change today...the first one im going to asssume was a action reaction thing...the moment he steps into La's house Khushi has this grin plastered on her face...seeing which Arnav breaks out into that half smile...*we can safely assume its not for LA*

so on some subconscious level, hes come there to make her happy...cos lets face it...if he had to make anyone else happy he'd have rchd La's place way earlier...

and then her tears...which befuddled both of them...the look of being utterly confused on his face was priceless...it really was like...ab aur kya karooon that she stops crying...and then probably escalated slowly into the kuch kuch hota hai to khushi realization...as someone posted earlier...he is to an extent perceptive..

kkg...welll perceptive is surely not her forte...the hug scene was so cute..where shes actually wiping away her tears in a manner to check is she leaking from the eyes...the fervent action was portrayed quite nicely :) she holds his gaze to mirror the confusion and then hastily moves away..

realisation dawning on her however slowly is a good thing...finally she can be the unbridled beauty and confront what she feels for him...

my only concerns in this place are...where are they going beyond khushi's mega realisation ? if at this point they bring in all the mega hatred...and khushi silently bearing it alll...then that would just be cruel...

Lavanya...aaa...what do i say...every second day i applaud her character...and then i slap my hand to my head saying arre yeh kya kar diya...!! the poor soul is in for more misery...heres to hoping she rises up to the situation and plays cupid for our star crossed lovers..

optimism much ? aah well..in tv its allowed..

@Radhe and Priya -

I do not think that ASR loves Khushi, yet. When he said that to his Di, they were talking about what happens when you love someone. I think ASR definitely detects that this is a path KKG can take him down and is planting La as a road block. When he brought her back to RM, he was back to usual. La allows him detachment and he would rather have that than go down the path of true love, he has admitted has only returned him pain. That whole scene with SaRun, it was awesome - I don't know how those two film those scenes considering all the masti behind the scenes.

^^ planting La as the roadblock...true...from alll what he has said and done till now if u look at it logically...that would be the next preventive action he'd take...

but i guess hes in for a surprise... what with her realising her feelings...and him already treading dangerous waters...i think isss tooofan se no roadblock can save him ;-)

i honestly dont know how these people shooot this serious show !! the enthusiasm levels and the constant fun they seem to be having on sets...god knows how they stay still for any emotion other than laughter to get across...

True! They must have to shoot several retakes. Its amazing to watch the behind the scenes footage.
Barun is as mastkhor as Sanaya.

I tend to disagree that ASR des not love Khushi yet . I would rather say he knows that she means the world to him but he does not know that is love . More slowly the realization blossoms, more glued we will be to the screen to watch how Barun enacts that perfectly.

I am not very sure whether Arnav realized that the plants were sent by Khushi. May be he understood Khushi's desperation and decided to go and get LA
Yesterday I made a post about reverse jealousy track and thought that the hug was contrived by Arnav but I am glad that it did not turn out to be so . IMO it was a genuine affectionate hug . He was tempted by Khushis smile when he entered the apartement andmay be thought that a tight jhappi will make the smile even brighter . So was his compete surprise and shock witnessing just the reverse.
With reciprocation love increases manyfolds so let us see how much Arhi love progresses this week . 😳
Las faux pas with tulsi plant was most probably the signal to bring Khushi back to RM asap . After all how can they celebrate Navratri without Khushi .
