PART 20
After 4months

I sat down on the bed with avantika...
'what happened to my pumpkin...? Mom will give you milk...' I said in child tone... How easily I turned to my girls age...
I hold her carefully to feed ...
After little I heard the door opened... I turned my head to see... Shlok is return from office...I smiled at him... He sat on the bed just behind me and looks avantila over my shoulder... I felt his hands touching my stomach slightly
'why so early today...?' I asked
'felt like to see my little girl...' He said smiling and touched her fingers... She warped her little arms around his large ones... I looked at the picture created by the father and daughter...
'oh you only want to see the baby... Who am I now?...'i said with fake anger...
He didn't say anything for my question... He just lay there... And looked and the above ceiling...
When I turned to baby I heard he say...
'Without you there is no life and I don't know how to live...' I looked at his eyes... Two drops of tears fall down through his cheeks...
I kept the baby on the cardle near to the bed... She is already asleep... And sat next to him... I kissed his cheeks... I tasted his tears... He smiled at me... We understand each other without words...
'i will be there... ' he warped his arms around me and i kept my head to his chest... I loved his smell... It gives a special energy...
We stay together till ayi called me down ...
'astha...'
'ayi...coming...' I said while getting down from the bed... I saw he is in a sound sleep... I remove his shoes and kept his leg properly on the bed...and walked down after giving a look to my baby...

When I return to room I didn't saw shlok there and also the baby...
'shlok... ' I called...
'where is he...?' I mumbled to myself and walked back to search him...
'he is maybe in study room...' I walked to the study... I didn't find him there either... When I turned to walk away something caughts my attention... I walked up to the study table... His new dairy is neatly kept on the table... I take it... And touched it by myhands... Unknowingly a drop of tear falls from my eyes...
Before I turn the pages I heard a sound of car parking on the yard... I kept the dairy there and walked down to see the guest...
I saw ayi is talking to someone on the living room... I came to them and saw a young lady holding ayi's hand and smiling her heart out...
I clear my throat to get their attention... Ayi turned towards me
'astha.meet her this is Swati... Shlok's friend... They done their schooling together... After that she gone to America to with her parents... After a long time she came back now...' I saw the excitement in ayi's voice...
I looked at her and give her a smile...
'hai astha...' She came forward to give me hug... I felt something strange but return it...
'hai Swati...' I said
'now i understand why shlok is not calling me after marriage... You looks beautiful...' She laughed out...
I heard the baby crying...
'she woke up...' I said and ran towards upstairs leaving behind a strange character ...
