Because deepika always supported them and never did any mud slinging by sharing articles called “deepikas era” that trashed each of her contemporaries and wrote them off …not once did her pr viciously attack her colleagues or even actors much more junior to her …so much so that Sonam , shahid all voiced their discontent …..she never threw shade at other actresses in her interviews or completely ignored them when asked to comment on or compliment their work..she dosent make everything abt herself all the time …

Why should they? DP did not even praise PC or even take her name when she was specifically asked about her working experience with PC by a foreign journalist.

There were lots of opinions in the last one month about 8 hrs working. Some supported her saying she's n a position to demand.

The common link in the 2 films is Prabhas. It may be that he forced the directors to announce that DP was dropped for being difficult. They have fragile egos. Not just a heroine ,anyone refusing them can make them feel insecure.Vyjayanthi may have even toned down the message. The PH has nothing to gain by it..and unlike Vanga,Nagi seems to be a reasonable man. His film is getting delayed and he wants to keep his hero happy.

Why even should anyone publicly defend her in this times of mostly vile social media when they can do it privately? It’s not sure anyway what is true…

Directors need to work with actresses. After sridevi fiasco and Alia's short role in RRR..no actress really cared about SSR's jungle film. Though one of his own team had mentioned DP,and was written in Variety etc. I think after waiting for a long time fortunately PC came on board for the adventure role. I believe he chose to be quiet. No matter how big you are,you need Actors and they have other options, a director has fewer. Tripti filled in,because she owed Vanga. No one else would have agreed. Which Big actress will want to do Kalki 2 now?
