Glad everyone is enjoying the story, I had a bit of a hard time writing this chapter because there was so much i wanted to explain but not sure how to do so without completely giving the story away, hopefully you enjoy this chapter and I promise the truth about Aditi will be out in the next chapter which I have already started working on

Part 7

Shlok carried Astha into the hospital where she was quickly taken away so the doctor could look after her, Shlok collapsed into a chair defeated "Astha ko kuch nahi ho ga" Sojal comforted putting a hand on Shlok's shoulder and Shlok just nodded and continued staring at the door to the room they had taken Astha into.

Anjali quickly filled Niranjan and Varad in one what had taken place and they all rushed to the hospital taking Jyoti, who had come out of her room hearing the commotion, along

"Yeh Kalindi ji aachanak ku aa gayi aaise?" Niranjan wondered "Pata nahi Sahb par voh Astha ki koi bhi baat sune ko tyaar hi nahi thi bas zid kiye jaa rahi thi ke Astha unke saath chale" Anjali replied

"Pata nahi Baba yeh Shlok aur Astha ko itni mushkilo ka saamna kyun karna pard raha hai litne haasthe ho chucke hain Astha ke saath" Varad hinted "iss se pehle bi kitni baar Astha ko khatra hua hai"

Arriving at the hospital the family rushed over to Shlok

"Sojal kaha hai?" Varad asked looking around "Vahini undar hai Astha ke paas unko nurse ne bulaya tha" Shlok replied emptily. Jyoti sat down next to Shlok and placed a hand on his cheek "Shlok tum Astha vahini ki fiqar mat karo voh bahut bahadur hai tum dekhna voh bilkul theek ho jaiyegi" Shlok nodded he didn't know how to explain what he was feeling, he knew his Astha wasa fighter but he couldn't see her in pain, he wanted to fill her life with nothing but happiness and joy; taking away all the pain he had ever given her yet no matter how hard he tried it seemed like fate always had other plans and pain would come into Astha's path no matter how hard he tried to prevent it.

Sojal came out of the room drying her hands on some paper towel, seeing Anjali giving her a strange look she jumped into her defense "voh Ayi...voh nurse ne...kaha" Anjali cut her off and placed a gentle hand on her cheek "Mujhe aacha laga dekh kar mushkil waqt tumne apne parivaar ka saath diya apne devrani ka dhyaan rakh kar" Sojal smiled and was shocked to see Varad smiling at her with pride. He doctor came out

"Suniye gabrane ki koi baat nahi darasal accident ke baad jo stiches lagayi thi unki side mein voh phut gayi thi issi liye unka itna khoon nikal gaya, humne stiches dobara kar di hain aur aap unko ghar bhi le jaa sakta hain bas dhyaan rahe ke unko rest ki zaroorat hai" the doctor excused himself

"Thank you Doctor" Niranjan thanked the doctor and the family went into see Astha, who was lying in bed upon seeing Jyoti Astha tried to sit up

"Jyoti Tai ab aap kaisi hai" Shlok ran and helped her sit up "Main theek hoon vahini aap fikar mat kijiye bas jald se jald theek ho jaiye" Jyoti said holding her hand

"Hum sab toh daar hi gaye the tumhe aaise dekh kar" Anjali said "Tumhe aapna khayaal rakna chaiye tha Astha bete" Niranjan added Astha nodded

"Astha" Kalindi called from the doorway where she stood next to Avdhoot

Astha grabbed Shlok "Olease Shlok aap kuch kijiye Ayi mujhelene aagayi" Astha cried grabbing onto Shlok tighter "Mujhe nahin jaana aapko chod kar" Shlok wrapped his arms around Astha trying to calm her down afraid she would damage her stiches again "Astha tum kahin nahi jaa rahi relax main hoon na"

"Astha, main tujhe lene nahi aayi hoon" Kalindi said walking into the room and sitting on the bed facing Astha "balke tujhse maafi mange ne aayi hoon" Astha looked at her Ayi "maafi?'

"Haan maafi" Kalindi continued "maine hamesha tujh par apni marzi chilane ki koshish ki hai kabhi ruk kar ye nahi socha ke tujhe kya chaiye" Kalindi wiped a few tears and continued "tu mujhe baar baar kehti rahi ke Shlok badal chukka hai par mera maan kabhi mane ko tyaar hi nahin tha iss baat ko"

"Ayi Shlok bahut aache hain aur mujhse bahut pyar karte hain" Astha smiled looking at Shlok "Yeh baat aaj meri samaj main aa gayi hai" Kalindi said then turning to Shlok "ho sakhe toh mujhe maaf kardena maine tumara saath bahut bura salook kiya hai" Shlok stopped her "aapko maafi maang ne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai maine pehle Astha ke saath bahut bura kiya hai jis ke liye main kabhi khud ko maaf nahi karoonga"

"Joh ho gaya usko bhool jao aur joh aane wala waqt hai uske bare mein socho" Avdhoot said

Kalindi got and turned to Niranjan and Anjali "agar aap ko bura naa lage toh kya main Astha ko kuch din apne saath le jaa sakti hoon" she asked quietly Astha looked at Shlok begging him with her eyes to say something but before he could Niranjon spoke "zaroor Astha ko bhi aacha laage ga" Kalindi smiled "Shlok tum bhi chalo ge naa?" Shlok smiled and nodded. Astha was ready to go home and everyone headed out when Anjali spoke "Astha apke saath jaa toh rahi hai Kalindi ji magar yeh mat bhooliya ga ke voh Agnihorti parivaar ki bahu hai" Kalindi was shocked she didn't know how to reply when Anjali broke out in a smile and added "usse jaldi ghar bhej dena uske bin ghar suna par jaayega" Kalindi nodded with a smile

Aditi was sitting in her room painting her nails when her phone rang she answered while still painting her nails

"Kaam khatam karne mein tumhe aur kitni dher lagne wali" the caller asked angrily

"Maine tumhe pehle bhi kaha hai ke main poori kohshish kar rahi hoon" Aditi replied angrily

"Itna sa kaam bhi nahi ho raha tumse?" the caller growled

Aditi was struggling to paint her nails while on the phone so knowing everyone was at the hospital she put the phone on speaker

"Maine kaha naa main kohshish kar rahi hoon par main kya karoon voh Astha har baaar bach jaati hain yaa phir Shlok usse bacha leta hai" Aditi snapped "Aur tum hote kaun ho mujhe par chilane wale"

"Yeh mat bhoolo ke maine agar upna mooh khol diya toh tumara kya ho ga"

"Theek hai

zyaada bakwas karne ki zaroorat nahi hai tum kaunsa kuch kar paate ho aache se" Aditi taunted "tumne toh pura ka pura khazana ko diya"

"Itna bhi uchalne ki zaroorat nahi main toh phirse khazana paa loonga par tumare paas toh yeh akhri mauka hai...tumara parda faash ho gaya toh kya ho ga" the caller returned

"Theek hai Theek hai main karti hoon kuch" Aditi said throwing her phone on to the bed angrily

"Kavya dhood" the maid called out and Kavya who had been standing at the door playing with her new video camera ran off

"Uuff iss Astha ka toh jald se jald kuch karna parega" Aditi growled

Everyone arrived home and Aditi came out of her room with a worried face "Astha kaisi hai ab?" Aditi looked around "Voh kahin dekhayi nahi de rahi?"

"Astha theek hai voh Shlok ke saath apne Ayi Baba ke ghar gayi hai kuch dino ke layi" Niranjan replied as he helped Jyoti up the stairs and to her room, wondering why Aditi was asking now and where she was during dinner, but was distracted when Jyoti spoke "Main chali jaoon gi kamre tak Baba aap aaram kar lijiye" Niranjan shook his head "Koi baat nahi main chalta hoon tujhe le kar" he smiled and Jyoti was touched seeing this soft side of her father.

Aditi went in to her room and screamed, how was she suppose to do anything if Astha was hidden away at her mothers place, she sat down on the bed in a huff and thought "ab mujhe joh bhi karna hai bara soch samaj kar karna padega"

Kirloskar House

The four of them arrived at the house with Shlok carrying a sleeping Astha in his arms, Kalindi directed Shlok to Astha's room and told him to ask if he needed anything Shlok nodded and carried Astha to her old room. Gently placing Astha on the bed he tried to straighten back up but Astha was holding onto his shirt tightly, he smiled and adjusted Astha on the bed so he could get into bed and before he knew it the two of them were asleep Astha's head on Shlok's chest his arms wrapped tightly around her waist, smiles on their lips. That was how Kalindi found them when she came into give them an extra blanket, smiling she covered the two lovebirds with the blanket in her hand and quietly left the room.

THE NEXT MORNING

Astha awoke the next morning with a smile on her face, she snuggled deeper into Shlok's embrace and his arms tightened around her waist, she looked up at him but he was still asleep "Shlok" she called but he gave no response, she tried to get up but was unable to free herself so she snuggled back into his chest "jaana kaun chata hai" she murmured "Aacha toh tumhe aacha lagta hai meri baahon mein" Shlok teased eyes still closed Shlok aap jaag rahe hai?" Astha exclaimed "Nahi neend mein baatien kar raha hoon" Shlok smiled opening his eyes and looking at Astha "Shlok" Astha said seriously Shlok looked at her "Kya hua Astha?" "Shlok ab toh Ayi bhi maan gayi aur divorce bhi cancel ab toh humhe koi alag nahi karega na?" Astha asked tears welling up in her eyes "main tumare bina nahi reh sakti Shlok" Shlok pulled her to him and crushed her in his arms "Ayi maanti ya na maanti humhe phir bhi koi alag nahi kar sakta Astha" Shlok kissed her forehead "Aur tum fikar mat karo uss Aditi ko main sambal loonga" he moved Astha back so he could look into her eyes "Ussne tumko taqleef de kar aacha nahi kiya main usse chodoonga nahi tumhe taqleef de kar usne bahut baadi galti ki hai Astha" Astha looked into Shlok's eyes and was overwhelmed by the love she saw, she had always known he loved her and would often see the love in his eyes but he was always so quick to mask it, but today the love she saw in his eyes was at its true and purest form not masked by anger or hatred Astha threw her arms around his neck "I Love You Shlok"

"I Lo..."

"ASTHA" Kalindi called from downstairs "Aati hoon Ayi" Astha called back "humhe neeche chalna chaiye" Shlok said lifting Astha into his arms and carrying her to the washroom so they could freshen up before they headed downstairs. After breakfast Shlok told Astha he had to go to the office for a little while and go see a site for a future project but he would be back as soon as possible, Astha smiled and told him to complete his work in a relaxed manner and not to rush it, but deep down she wished he didn't have to go. While Shlok was at the office Astha spent the day with her Ayi and Ajju

AGNITHOTRI MANSION

Niranjan was in his bedrrom with Anjali "Anjali mujhe lagta hai humhe Hyoti ko kahin ghoomane le jaana chaiye, usse aacha lage ga"

Anjali looked at Niranjan "J..Jee Sahb" Niranjan had been acting strange ever since they had returned from Goa it was almost as if he was a changed man but Anjali didn't want to push her luck and agreed to his suggestion.

"Toh theek hai main Varad ko bhol kar hum sab ke tickets book karwa deta hoon" Niranjan said heading to the dining table for breakfast leaving a dumbfounded Anjali behind "Sahb aaisa kyun bartav kar rahe hain?"

AT BREAKFAST

Sojal was serving breakfast to Varad and Jyoti when Niranjan joined them at the table followed by Anjali, sitting down Niranjan turned to Varad "Varad beta tum koi aachi si jaaga chun kar hum sab ke liye tickets aur rehne ka bandobast kar do, humne faisla liya hai ke hum sab kahin goomne jaiyenge"

Varad was a little shocked at his Baba's request but agreed "Jee Baba main karta hoon"

"Uncle" Aditi spoke up "meri ik saheli ki shaadi hai toh main toh aap logo ke saath nahin jaa paoon gi" Aditi smiled "main aaj hi usske ke ghar jaane wali thi"

Niranjan nodded "tumne apne Baba se baat kar li hai?" "Jee Uncle" Aditi nodded sweetly. "Ab yeh saheli kaha se tapak gayi" Anjali thought to herself "aur yeh itni kuch kyun lag rahi hai"

"Anjali sab tyaari kar lo hum aaj hi nikalenge" Anjali nodded and went to start packing.

Aditi was ecstatic everything was working out for her after all; with the family gone it would be easier for her to accomplish what she wanted

"Ab toh tujhe koi nahi baacha sakta Astha" Aditi laughed "Ab toh main tujhe maar kar hi rahoon gi"

"KAVYA" Sojal called "uff ho yeh video camera rak aur tyaar ho jaa goomne nahi jaana kya" Sojal said taking the camera from Kavya and turning it off leading her away to get ready.

PRECAP

Astha was lying down waiting for Shlok when her cell rang, she looked at the number "yeh kiska phone hai" she thought answering the call "Jee main Mrs. Agnihotri se baat kar sakta hoon" the caller asked "Jee boliye" Astha said "Jee apke pati ka accident ho gaya hai unhone behosh hone se pehle aapka number likhaya tha aap please yaha jaldi aa jayiye" "Kya Shlok ka accident ho gaya?" Astha cried "Jaldi pata likha dijiye"
