since coming back from mumbai...to the last hug after IT raid and then the last drunk shlok being cared by father..shows he is slowly seeing his father's true colors that he is not as honest as he proclaims...

All I have to say then is that Shlok is really a fool so caught up in his own emotions and turmoil because he has been rejected in love once that he married astha as she called raakshas and rejected him too like Swati. I thought Swati called him raakshas too and so Astha reminded him of Swati, her bangles also reminded him of Swati and so he broke them in saputana and in kolhapur , and so he was suddenly so angry at Astha.

If what you say is what the cvs want to show then he is actually taking Swati's revenge of leaving him on Astha and I would say that he should not be redeemed. I do not think that this could be his Maksad and his Astha or faith as he called Astha his breath and that Astha had gained his trust for life and he is Astha's conscience( wajud). Then all these sentences and his actions many times cannot be justified.

yes suchi and especially one must not forget the "fist" of shlok on pachyatap and the dialogs afterwards...

that was the limit for shlok...

after that he was sure that there would be no other way for him but to break aastha's heart, that is why so many kisses of forehead...

suchi you may be correct with your thoughts but the problem here is c.v.'s are not give clear picture about shlok feelings to astha or his thoughts towards his father and family . This is leaving viewers in a confused state .this is the reason why many are justifying kalindi's slap and divorce step of hers.

Thanks Sonia, I thought all my theories about unmasking of the masks , EBP and everything that I have been saying are completely wrong. I really hope not. I did put in a lot of work in this complex Shlok and his Astha, in his wicked baba and his aai and all the other characters. Oh CVs please help me. At least I am happy I am making jokes and smiling otherwise we become so serious discussing this show

A friend who was watching the show is very confused about where is it leading .she is not from the forum and people outside the forum are taking it as negative . It's high time they show some feelings of shlok in open and I am sure shortly we will see him open his feelings to astha otherwise there is no way to carry the love angle of this story.

Yes so he broke the promise he had made to Jyoti too about Astha. I do not wnat Shlok to be really that bad. Imagine me saying that he lifted Astha at the time of Kavya's birthday saying he wanted to help her but made her do it. so like Srikrishna's upliftment of women to help themselves. I am sure the Cvs must be laughing at all my thoughts then.

Suchi, thanks for respecting my views and I respect yours too. You may be partly right too. He has these positive traits in him too due to which I feel he will be redeemed. He is not evil personified like NA is and not complete villainous like Abhay is. See the CV's have cleverly made this a very intriguing character alright so that they can steer this character which ever way they want. So, they kept his double meaning dialogues all the time. His actions and dialogues (even monologues) don't match. This character right now can trend in any way:

1. Protects, loves Astha from beginning- like you said (or)

2. He is ego centric, narcissist and baba centric - baba is his whole world and cannot be redeemed. (or)

2. He has feelings/love for her which he does not understand or does not want to acknowledge but has huge ego to let go of those feelings (my take)

For a person like me who likes thrillers and suspense series and just can watch only series whose get done in 1 or 2 epis; to watch a social seriel and writing essays on an open forum is something isn't it. This show made me a psychology student trying to read a character's mind 😊 unbelievable and getting addicted to this show... that is something. Btw, you call me Jia 😊

Thanks Jia, this show makes me think and analyze the characters in different ways and I try to put everything in the social perspective and look at the big picture. I really like to hear different views because that is what makes this forum interesting.
