My thoughts on IPKKNDEPB story upto the 101 espiodes.
Shlok is a complex character brought up in rigid orthodox family with NA being the controller and an extremely rigid man . NA wears the mask of being modern and progressive and good is the one who abuses and gets everything that he wants even at the expense of somebody's life. Shlok has been ditched in love and called selfish. He falls in love again this time with Astha in Kolhapur (the background song says dil samhal ja jara phir mohabbat karane chala hai tu). Tells her later that "meri zindagi ka hissa ho tum, mere jeene ka maksad ho tum".
What is his maksad and why is she a part of his life. He has lost Swati but again has fallen in love with Astha and cannot lose her as he lost Swati. Also tells Astha "uske ghaav abhi tak bhare nahi hai".
What is his maksad? He lost Swati because of his orthodox and rigid family as she was a very modern and independent woman who was not ready to live the oppressed life of Agnihotri women. So his maksad is to make Astha change the rules in his house and remove the oppression of these women and live happily with her. He lived alone after Swati incident, blamed his mother for her mishap , but probably found out that his father was really behind all this. Angry at his mother as she listened to his father and did not fight against him. He now does not want the same thing to happen to Astha that happened to Swati, so wants to secure her, make her safe, be there to protect her constantly , but at the same time make his father feel he is his father's son and all that matter so him is his father. But we have been shown that Shlok has told Astha that all he cares is about Astha and him and he wants them to be together for life as she needs him, he is her wajud ( her conscience) and he loves her and she is his breath. So two people who are inseparable. Sojal and Abhay want them separated for their own selfish interest. Sojal out of jealousy and Abhay so that he will get NA s empire.
I have put this in the perspective of Mahabharat and the Agnihotri family traditions with yagna, worship of the fire god.
Is this the modern Mahabharat that we see in today's society with Shlok as Srikrishna , Astha's Arjun and NA as Dhrutarashtra, Anjali as Gandhari who although being good women has purposefully blindfolded her eyes, reason we do not know yet, even has cut off all her ties with her parents although she is their only child. Abhay as Dhurydhan. His aunt as Dushyasan . Jyoti as Shlok's sister Draupadi, Avadhoot as Pandu, Kalindi as Kunti, a very strong women again, and Varad as Vidur, the minister who always wants the right thing, always loves Arjun but is bound to Hastinapur and so to NA. Varad does not like his baba's way but cannot go against them. Vinayak is Sanjay, the on looker who can see everything and wants a change but does not do anything actually. So is ajju then Bhishma who loves Arjun dearly and so although cannot fight against NA , has full faith in Shlok whom she calls Astha's bodyguard and asks him to help and protect Astha. Sojal is Karna s although she is from the Agnihotris she is on the side of Abhay and causing more harm to both Jyoti (Draupadi) and Astha (Arjun. Will AStha be the won to expose Sojal and cause her debacle? Is Sojal's mom Shakuni, one who is instigating Sojal and Abhay through her. Another sister of Pooja, is she going to be Bheema?
Is this the homa of all the Agnihotri women where we start with a sanklap , Astha our faith, and then says prayers or Shlok and what we put in the homa is Anjali. We start the homa with the blessing of Varad and Vinayak . What is being offered is the sacrifices of Shlok and Astha'a love and the result will be he exposure or destruction of NA. So NA who continued these rigid traditions is destroyed. Is this the yagna od Daksh ( Anjali's father ) where Anjali is Sati and NA as Shiva the destroyer?
I would still like to keep my theory that Shlok does love Astha , wants her to fight the injustice against all the women in his house , be his mother, his sister Jyoti and ? Pooja , Sojal and tai attya and off course Astha and so in the society. So he is Astha's charioteer, who controls her life , guides her and gives her direction on how to fight .Wants to protect her as he knows he is putting her in a very precarious position as she is fighting , he is only steering the chariot in the right direction and wants her to win this game of Adharma (NA , Abhay, Sojal , her mom and Jyoti's MIL) and Dharma ( Shlok, Astha, Jyoti, Vinayak and Varad, Ajju , Avadhoot and Kalindi). As I said before everyone in their house except for Kavya and Astha are wearing masks as of now, but we may see Astha too wearing a mask in front of other but Shlok will unmask himself to Astha and they will be together in this war, although Shlok will always make his father feel that he is supporting him. This is exactly what Srikrishna did in Mahabharat . He made Dhrutarasthtra and Dhuryodhan and all the Kauravas feel that he is on their side as his army was fighting from their side (Adharma)against the Pandavas, but he always took the side of Pandavas and of Dharma.
The show has also shown the different relations of humans in a family and how one can get the rights of all the relations and respect them and make women independent and fight the injustice.
We are seeing two young people fight first against each other till they have trust in each other and give the rights of husband and wife to each other, become a couple in the real sense and then fight for all the others who are oppressed, fight for the right , fight for Dharma.
The CVs have always shown us the tracks that are going to happen and then show the results of them. Shlok had brought Astha blindfolded in his love to this house and then told her that she should always choose him and not Anjali, but Astha did not do that and the result of that was Shlok had to take away his love from Astha and fake hate so that she will try to find out what she wants and hate this household and Anjali and fight against Anjali's traditions which are actually NAs. He did succeed to some extent but lost Astha's love and trust in the process. Now they have shown us what happened in honey moon and most likely same will happen in the jail. We will again see office track where by Astha will become financially independent and work and at the same time both will again come closer, but this time will express their love for each other openly and gain in our trust.
So we will see all the things happening not just Ek baar phir but baar baar phir as said by one of the forum members .So same things again and again but with time, the results are good and progressive. Along with this the CVs have shown us the adharma against women , rape, female feticide, physical and mental abuse of women and to make them financially dependent. Astha will fight against all this and Shlok will help her to pave the way to win this war.
We will see the story unwinding slowly with giving solutions to all the problems. Shlok will also have to mend his ways and learn that although his ways may be different with good intentions they are not always correct and he will have to change them to get his aim.
I would like to give credit to all the forum members who with their contributions have made me come to these conclusions.
These are my thoughts, and all of you have your own and are welcome to express them.
