Hi Sush ,

Lovely post . ...continue to write as and when you have time .

Today's episode was a peek into how far Advay can go and what is happening with Chandni. It is clear that she is not over the top happy with the marriage proposal. She just said yes for the marriage because that is what makes her mother happy. She has not thought about anything beyond that. And after what all Chandni has suffered through it would not have been realistic to show Chandni being happy for the marriage proposal so glad that we got this cleared in today's episode.

Regarding Chandni vs Advay I really like the way Advay always tries to jot down the memory of Chandni for that fateful day whenever he can to see if she remembers anything. But the way Chandni answers back I am sure something must have been done by Indrani to wipe out that memory from Chandni's mind. Advay was so so disappointed to see Chandni flat out refuse that she never lied and his tone goes icy cold when he declares her "Jhooti" - The hate in his voice is tangible. I am glad that even when they show Advay using all his charm on Chandni to get her to say yes he is still driven by his rage and hatred. He still has a long way to go to understand what makes Chandni click and what exactly happened that fateful day.

And the attraction of Chandni towards Advay is fatal - She is totally getting bowled over by the charm of Advay and she can't understand what is happening to her. She is trying to make sense of what's happening but Advay is full on playing her expertly without giving her any time to understand and decode anything. I really want Chandni to start connecting dots and be at least aware of what game plan Advay is playing.

Barun was a dream today in white and I really am happy Shivani Sharali didn't give any outrageous costumes to Barun. The guy is total charmer and doesn't need anything outrageous to make an impact.

PS:- I totally missed Murli - Shilpa nok jhok today. And full marks to the dialogue writer for the dialogues as well as the poem.

You are really sweet PS! HUGS...🤗

It is a mystery ...how Chandani has absolutely no recollection of the day...or the fact that may be she said something which was so disastrous!!

She could have been manipulated to think something is real...and say it...she was only being truthful...but like Indrani says. In one episode...what meets the eye is somethimes not the truth...

I think they both were manipulated by a mastermind...

And now he has become a manipulator ...the very same trait that decided his date...such is the irony...

FL is surprisingly good Navya! She is very natural and believable!
True that Bituwa and his feelings are the focal point of the show...but I really hope they continue to provide real opportunities for the FL to connect to the audience...That will be a winner!

Writing a few lines from Chester Bennington of Linkin Park ..

I know I am not the center of the Universe
But you can spin around me just the same...

Such is Bituwas persona ...

Can i start with Barun looked sexy as hell in that simple white pants and shirt 😳 This is the first episode after a week that i actually looked beyond his face.

ASR is ready to kill. He is at his seductive best. (Its too early for this story but as I said i will just watch it as a stand alone epi to enjoy it) He is confused by Chandni and is confusing Chandni too. He thinks its his haq to invade her personal space, to touch her and cast a spell on her as and when he deems it perfect. In his master plan he wants to hurt Chandni and that little poem that he recited tells us the same thing. He is literally living that famous dialogue:"Kuch haar ke jeetne wale ko baazigar kahete hain" and we all know he is the biggest player out there. 👏

Barun as Advay in this avatar too is rocking. His eyes speaks volume. He acts so well with his eyes⭐️👏

Shivani too is rocking as Chandni. ⭐️👏
Her confusion when he is near her; her dilemna is visible. She knows he is preying her but then he is too big of player for her.

They both burn the screen with their scenes even though its too early 👏 Usually such intimacy starts after few weeks/months when the costar gets friendly with each other.

The sisters today did not annoy me. Their bonding and convo was bearable. I still do not like the youngest one. Meghna is improving. Even their dress were bearable👍🏼

the only person that looked out of place was Indrani today. What was she wearing? 😲 Should she not be cooking when there is the roka happening? They have two masis at home. Why would Chandni be cooking? 😕😕 This part surprises me the most. Would she not be treating her daughter as princess especially on her d day?

All in all pahele it was badlapur IPK now its Mujse Shadi karogi IPK😆 The only continuity i found was in Advay asking Chandni about that fatal day and calling her zhooti.

Oh and I would have kicked that ASR who climbs the bed with his slippers on😈 with or without white button less shirt he can take a hike. 😛😆

PS - Did they play the tunes in english while he was carrying her? 😕
Big cheer to the dialogue writer👏

Hi Sush, feels like eons away isn't it? Good to read your posts again and I really like the S and S comparison you made. I'm a big fan of Jane Austen, so much so that I took an English course devoted only for Jane Austen novels during my university days. 😆 (and English was not my major 😆) Elinor was one of my favorites and her story is so gut wrenching and sad. Sense and sensibility and Persuasion were probably my favorites out of all JA novels. They really did portray the pangs of unrequited love, rejection and mistakes made on love, from a female's point of view.

Anyway, what I was trying to get at was, mercurial, unpredictable men are attractive, even the ones who are outright offensive and sometimes abusive. I call it an offshoot case of the Stockholm syndrome.

Unfortunately that is true...So many women fall for abusive jerks...who are outright offensive...
Some realize it not until it's too late...

I welcome the change in direction...which softened his manners a lot more...it felt so much less agressive to see the scene than how it read...The last thing I want is to feel like the ML is an abusive jerk...I want to feel like he is really leaving no stone unturned in making sure he gets her hand...and he has all these bad feelings towards her...but he HAS to be a good and essentially decent guy underneath all those feelings...in my books...or the charm is lost...

It gives a refreshing and critical pov.
And I enjoy reading it.
The collages from shwets adds to the charm of this thread.
I hope you will take out time and continue writing.
I was a huge fan of your sushpectives on Rangrasiya forum also.
And I would be glad to be a part of your analysis in this forum as well.
So far to tell you the truth I am enjoying the show...so wouldn't go into much details...as I am not good with decoding or writing analysis.
I am enjoying the show as a General audience and reading the posts on this forum to know other pov's as well.
Hope it continues till the end although after a time period Gul's shows hardly have the same charm.
I am sticking to the show because of the leads.
Let's see and hope that I can stick it till the end.
Thanks for your review and shwets for wonderful collages.

Thanks Chip! That means a lot! 🤗

Call me Sab / Sabi ( short for Sabrina ) 😆

Regarding Chandni ... Just my POV ... Shivani isn't at par with Barun ( who is anyways 😃) ... She is quite limited in her expressions ... But by stroke of luck ( or design , I don't know which ) that limited expression suits the character ... I don't think she is in love like you said ... I feel she is confused and intrigued ... and that's on a superficial plain ...But if I stretch this a bit and try to go deep, then this is a lost numb kid without an anchor ... She lost her mom ( possibly at an young age ) , she lost her best freind Dev , she lost her dad to amnesia , she lost her so called reputation to abduction , she believes her step mom is an angel whose love she doesnt deserve ( being a step daughter ) , so she tries to please her in everyway ... Now here comes a paheli , a riddler ( in Advay ) ...she is curious and intrigued but she doesn't question him too much , because life has never given her answers ...it has always given her questions ... She has lost the habit of probing too much . So when Advay calls get Jhooti ; she doesnt interrogate him , she simply declares she needs to go ...what's the point in asking , life and surely this Pagal man will not give her any answer ... So, shivanis limited affectless face actually works in this scenario 😊 ... By the time the story reaches a point where she will need to break down / retort / seek answer ; shivani will have to take the acting up a few notch ( which Gul should be able to bring out ) ... Right now this emotionally radar less lost kid with an amicable veneer ( my daughter will make any house / home a happy one ; according to Maleficent Indrani ) is perfectly characterized in Chandni ! I can't think of anyone else playing this numb character better than her. Sorry for the long bak bak 😆 Thanks for your thought provoking post
