Before watching the episode, I checked the board and was not sure if I was going to really like this...seemed too aggressive...ML walking into a girls room at night, picking her up to take her to his room...seemed like predatory behavior...I cringed a little...
But watching the episode I came away with a different perception...

I saw a girl ...who was walking into a loveless, attraction less marriage ...just so that she can reduce the financial burden on her family and that's what the mom wanted...There was not a trace of enthusiasm ..although she tried to pass it off by saying...it wasn't that important,..

and I saw ...
A man, desperately trying to woo her to say yes...to make her see that that's what her heart desires...
Considering his financial position and theirs, it would have been lot easier for him to just use that and force her into a marriage...but that's not what he wants...He wants to get her to say yes...by pulling all the charm on her...Being the most passionate suitor one minute...and then being a hateful one ...being truthful about his motives and actions...

What interests me ...is the dynamic developing between the sisters...May be Meghna is indeed Marianne from Sense and Sensibility...with big dreams about love...and Chandani is Elinor the sensible one...who is being swept off her feet by a man she just can't understand at the moment.

SHWETS thanks for the collage...they are beautiful!!

I have said before...I really liked the symbolism in IPK1 and am looking forward to seeing them in IPK3... I hope they are not all orchestrated though...which takes away the kick from it...

I like Chandani's reaction to the dupatta falling stunt today ...that she was sure her manipulative, zealous suitor pulled on her...(after a brief moment of being under the spell though)...She handed it back on his hand...told him...Thanks but No Thanks and walked away...

Last comment...
I missed watching Murshi today...The noodle lacing and walking on the bed with the shoes etc...was like...😔...May be the task of bringing her to his room to see the stars could have been accomplished a bit more tastefully...with Muralis help...

And to the dialogue writer...
The Bhagyawan dialogue was out of place...didn't work ...who says that now a days anyways? Anyway ..the white kurta was the best thing going for the episode...so good marks to Ms Shirali for that one!
You scored some points with that one in my books!

Ok done...guys...please write back if you want me to continue making Sushpectives...No point writing stuff if there is no enthusiasm to read...

I am just grateful that unlike most heroines, Chandini has a brain and she is suspicious of him and not falling for his charm so easily considering his volatile behaviour

Bang on! This is why I'm a little confused on why a lot of people are saying she's already falling for him/in love with him. She's not. She's certainely affected by him, but she definitely knows he's up to something! Even at the end of the episode when she was wondering where he was - she was suspicious about his whereabouts.

I know the story dictates she'll fall for him and he'll break her heart blah blah blah but I hope they show her falling for him somehwhat slowly and realistically. Because with a past such as hers, as well as what she's gathered with regards to this man, she should be extremely wary of him. So even though we'll be getting eyelocks and 'rabba ves' which'll show her mesmerizied by him and his charming words, I hope she's shown to also snap out of it and remember why he seems like a fishy dude lol.

I was hoping the marriage with PP gets called off somehow and Indrani implores Chandni to marry Advay, both to save face and for the whole money issue. Now Chandni marrying Advay for the sake of her mom, I can get behind and understand! It makes sense, seeing as she's entering into a loveless marriage with a clown atm too, for her mother's happiness.

True that! Two things I am liking about her character are
THat she can think...
That she speaks for herself...and doesn't take the baseless accusations without pushing back...

Also just wanted to say while they're shaping up Advay's character well...it's so disappointing how they're handling Chandni's. One minute we have her scared/wary, the next minute she turns into a spitfire, and then she's being all *heart-eyes* towards a man she should run the other way from.

And it's not that Shivani can't act, I believe she can and well. It's just that they're making her seem like an incredibly confused character, even when Advay is being cryptic, saying shayari which clearly has double meaning, she hardly reacts?! Her scenes with Advay all like so routine, if that makes any sense :/ I wish the makers would have her talk to herself, a monologue or tow would go a long way in showing us what she's thinking. Thankfully we got something today when she thought about how Advay's probably up to something since he's absent but man, it's not enough.

This man is so mercurial but she can't help fall for him, which is pretty common for most of us isn't it? It's a very common dynamic between a woman and a man on the prowl. The more unpredictable he is, the harder you fall. He's enigmatic and she is attracted to that, albeit unwillingly so.
That aspect of the show is quite realistic even though the rest of the show isn't. 😆

well we all remember those few weeks in IPK 1 after marriage where Khushi was annoying him 24/7 and there was barely any mention of him being mad at her and its like she forgot he forced the marriage on her... 😆... I am glad to see she is always wondering why he has a problem with her and kudos to CVs for making it clear that Advay still has revenge on his mind and isn't falling for her...

also, the fact that Chandini is not an OTT female character is a breath of fresh air. She can be funny, charming etc but to a reasonable extent
