Nm is trying hard to make shivansh loook different than shivaay . But he is repeating the same scenes and dialogues which shivaay used to deliver.
Whether there is chemistry or not they have to continue with this . They already changed the montage synopsis and fl within a month . They can't do it again .

For Niti fans everything is new so they might be enjoying it .

What the layered writer doesn't get is that the worst thing she can do is to copy Shivika scenes on this pair because that has disaster written all over it before it even gets off the ground. Like I already said earlier Shivika set the bar too high and made all those scenes uniquely their own. Whoever tries to copy Shivika scenes is just going to not make the cut and suffer by comparison. And when a pair with no chemistry tries to do it all the more they are going to fall flat on their face. Everything is going to look like a 2 rs downmarket version of the original. At least if they get original scenes they won't be compared so much. But maybe that much creativity is beyond the layered writer's capabilities. But knowingly inviting comparison with Shivika by rebooting Shivika scenes is like inviting disaster.

I liked Niti in KYY but there Nandu was a very well written character and Niti's look and acting style worked for that. And Nandini was a 17 year old college kid. From the little snippets I have seen of Mannat Niti doesn't have much range or versatility. Her acting is the same. Her Mannat's has gestures and body language and expressions similar to Nandu but an overdone version and on a character who is not well written and in a show which is not about teenagers. So while it worked in KYY here its not going to work in the same way. Because it's only making it look like a 35 yr old is trying to romance a 17 year old. What the makers and everyone else don't seem to get is that each character or performance never works in a vacuum. They are all pieces of a whole that need to come together as one beautiful picture. Here everyone is performing in their own space disengaged from the other. And that is never going to work collectively even if individually adequate performances are delivered. Good performers think of the whole scene and not just if themselves in the scene.
That is why the sync Narbhi had with each other created magic because they gave each other space to perform and one became the foil to the other based on the demands of the scene and that enhanced and highlighted each other's performance. And they were in character and never just wall paper even in scenes where they are standing the background. It was all these little things that added up to create that magic.
Here it's like each one is doing their is own thing without much thought of how it's collectively working. No wonder it ends up looking so awkward.

I m having W*F moments reading the review 😆...Gul concept of freshness 🤣 at least they could have changed the dialogues...but nah ...Shivika doesn't work, may be their dialogues will work 😛 (" Annika hand movement for logic" ).

The very fact that NM has aced all different shades of Shivaay so brilliantly and consistently (and there have been many with such a sau rangi character) is enough testament to his capability as an actor. His body of work speaks for itself. We know that he can act and that too very well because we have seen it. In the light of that the fact that he isn't connecting with this Dhinku version to me speaks about so many other things that are not working for this show. In the last two and half years I haven't seen him like this through the crappiest of IB tracks. He always finds something in it to charge himself up and challenge himself as far as his character is concerned even if the track is senseless. The very fact that all that is missing now just shows there is really no inspiration here with this script, content , character and coactors.

NM I think wanted to do something different. That's what I think they started with. But we are used to seeing NM as shivaay and he has set a Bench mark for himself with shivaay. Its difficult to erase shivaay and watch him as something entirely different. Atleast for me. That's the reason the 2rs duplicate did not work then and dhinku doesn't work now. I wish it were a different actor. And nobody can be like Annika, even NM himself. What SC brought in as Annika, NO ONE else can do that. NM and NT, atleast for me have potential, only if they have a proper script to go with. Rinse and repeat will always be compared with Shivika and that will definitely not work. Shivika was something that cannot be recreated with any other pair. Give them something different. They say Shivika did not work, I say Shivika only worked because of Narbhi and not because of their 2rs script. Nobody seems to be interested in creating something new.

Nandini , Shivani Mannat ... Niti is SAME everywhere ...😆

I am surprised she has NOT AT ALL grown as an Actor.

And yes though the Jodi of Nakul and Niti is totally Unfit . Niti with her Child like Acting is making Nakul as well as the Jodi Chemistry Look Bad .
Nakul's character itself is Haywire though 😆.

We can't blame the directors for this craze for supernatural series.indian audience are still very much attracted towards these kind of stuff .
If we take DIB then Gul ousted a beautiful ensemble cast for her leap . She picked up few random actors from here and there .
Sill there are audience who appreciate it .
So she succeeded in her first step of cost cutting. Now story is rinse repeat reboot
Still people are enjoying it . So harneeth succeeded from spending time for writing new story. Now she can spend more time on her cats .
For online popularity they brought Niti
And fans are not bothered about whether she is getting a meaningful role or not . They just wanted to see her onscreen. So Gul and harneeth succeeded from getting backlash and criticism from online fans.
For LM no need to think much just repeat the few random scenes here and there with beautiful backgrounds and props like dupatta and net . And people are appreciating it .
The main problem they had with shivika fans was they used to criticise a lot without any partiality. Now by blocking all shivika fans they got succeeded in it .
Now Gul harneeth and LM must be enjoying everything with popcorns in their hand .
Without spending much money,time and energy they are getting lot of appreciation.
Harneeth won't lift her hand to take pen till she gets a proper criticism for what she is forcing on viewers.but i think no one is bothered about story now .
