Not something I expect from Shivaay...

On this point, I can still play Devil's Advocate😆...He knows Anika won't give up in trying to get to the bottom of this thing but he still chooses to be deliberately obtuse and has to do things his way...he saw her taking a resolve to find out why he's faking the ML and still his only goal was to try and convince her otherwise...this falls under the category of the usual misplaced overconfidence he has in himself and himself alone to handle everything...even after all he's known and seen of her over time, he thinks he can outwit and outsmart her😆...

The danger line was anyways a token dialogue...I don't buy it...the dialogue writers totally dropped the ball and didn't bother with giving Shivaay anything credible to justify his actions...they should have shown him struggling to grapple with the magnitude of multiple threats on the family and Anika...but we got none of that...all we got were multiple epis of him floating around the house like a bhoot along with that bhootni Tanya...and when the time came, he was either stoic with Anika (this persona may have worked uptil the seperation track cuz Shivaay was struggling with his faith in her but now it really doesn't work for how much his character has evolved and claimed to be in a secure place in his love for her) or just standing cluelessly watching her random comic antics...

For all the nonsense in the Pinky track, the seperation threat was a credible one, still built up over a few epis...here there is literally empty air, nothing...and they are trying to show it as a "credible" threat that compelled Shivaay to disown Anika and hardly struggle with it. Meanwhile Anika on the other hand is finding a lot of comedy in having a fake wife to banter with...we've suspended a lot of disbelief for this show but they really don't seem to know when to quit while they're ahead...Shivika have been liked for their zany/fun vibe but that doesn't mean mindless slapstick.

At the end of the day, it comes down to a simple question...would Shivaay have been ok if Anika had paraded a fake pati in front of him for secret reasons that she didn't think necessary to tell him? I wonder if Lekhika ji has the guts to answer that😛

@bold *sigh* But mera point wohi hai... If Shivaay is expecting a partnership toh he needs to understand what it entails.. He needs to understand that "jab saath hai toh baat hai..." Kis baat ka over-confidence bhai... 😕😆

I was under the impression he had learnt his lesson.. has evolved.. but I guess ye abhi sikhaa baki hai!

*sigh* Execution fail toh hai hi.. Mujhe mera wala original wapas chahiye! 😆😆

Lekhika, Anika, Shivaay and fandom ka nahi pata.. Mujhe bahut hi zyaada michmichi hoti hai 3rd angles se.. toh please ideas na do.. Haath jodti hoon mein aise..😆😆

But to me, it's believable that Shivaay still needs to understand the PRACTICAL ramifications of a partnership...aaj tak he's found it easy to give GYAAN to others and Anika...he's never been challenged about implementing it directly in his own context until just now...so there was potential to actually evolve him properly on this point SAMJHAA ke...but kya milaa...rushed scene, token dialogues and jump to comedy.

They gave Anika some good dialogues in that scene pointing this out but sadly it was all wasted on Shivaay's thandaa reaction and Anika's continued pleading *sigh*

Lesson toh ANIKA learned in the seperation na...and she is living up to the lessons she's learnt...It doesn't seem like Shivaay ever really had to learn this lesson until just now...in such a half-baked track, sadly...lol

Completely agree with you...I personally liked this week episodes... shivika were totaly in character...this is how they behave in situations like these.. Annika trust him always never doubted him because of random girls in his life.so she is confident that he is doing all this for a reason n she as always want to help him. Shivaay on the other hand is protecting his family which also include his Annika...he is worried for her safety because he know that if she got to know the reason she will put herself in danger for him n the family...so after pleading n refusal they finally decided to work together as shivika...its normal...

You put it well.. no Anika shouldnt have left him when he walked in with Tanya and declared her as his wife to the media and fail to recognise Anika.. he had to agree to the blackmailer's demand to save his family as he had no choice. What the cvs served on monday was a rude shock to the viewers..for this man who was head over heels in love with his girl..was doing all childish stuff to get an I love you from her .. romancing her like mills and boon .. who just got so much crazy for her once the priest declared them husband and wife... was just so desperate like the viewers for the wedding nite .. one phone call just changed everything.
Not mad at Anika for her funny antics to keep Tanya away from shivaay but want shivaay to care for his wife and not miss a single chance to romance his wife .. he needs to do this to cover up the damage he has been made to do

Great post Enas 👏

I completely agree with how this should not be looked as a situation of Shivaay choosing family over Anika again. Loved the NT track reference you made. Its so under rated how during that time Shivaay was ready to do everything NT asked to protect Sahil. He even let Pinky be insulted and it was when he supposedly considered her as God 😆

Also I completely got why he couldnt tell Anika the truth. Wish everyone too would look at the positives of the track 😊

GulNeet have become laid back with IB now, they are not interested or invested to float the IB boat for whatever worth it is They gave the show the best they could for 250-300 episodes & are looking for new projects even though their latest tanked so badly that they didn't learn a thing from it & are jumping to another project from the rumor mills 🤢 So we get the half-@ssed written tracks till SP pulls the plug

comedy is my problem too yaar...the fact that intense situations are turned into ajoke always annoys me😡😡
