A different Look at this week's epis

In order for me to convey my point properly let me ask the following questions

1. If ur husband has an accident, goes missing then returns with memory loss, will u leave ??

1. If u can tell that ur husband is lying, wouldn't u want to know y is he doing that?or will u just pack ur bags and leave?

1. U get furious as ur husband didn't trust u with the secret and facing everything alone..u remind him of ur promises and his reply is "I don't want to put u in danger" wouldn't ur heart melt?

Depends on ur answer to understand Annika but I for one would have done exactly what she did.

Thinking about the pain that's reflected on u and not noticing the change in basic nature from the person in front of u is the mistake Shivaay made during separation...should Annika make the same mistake?

Annika is showing what the separation taught her, no one HAS THE RIGHT TO THROW HER OUT OF HER HOME NOT EVEN SHIVAAY HIMSELF.

Coming to Shivaay:

1st issue: according to some he chose family over Annika ..

so in order to understand him, let us go back to NT track...A track that is neglected by most cause we were concerned about separation..When NT kidnapped Sahil and she BMed Shivaay...She insulted Pinky out loud and plainly...And when Pinky complained to Shivaay, he dismissed the matter and didn't take her side

At that time, Shivaay Chose Annika (by choosing to save Sahil) over his own mother...his family...y? Cause he took the practical decision...He knew that his mother is in pain...But at that time...Sahil was more important...So tell me now...when it came to saving Senior Oberois...y do u expect him to do anything different?

Shivaay is the Great Wall...be it a scandal, life or even business loss..And he does that on his own expenses even if it means hurting him the most...He protects FAMILY from all & with all his might...and this is no Ordinary loss

I'll quote here my dear friend's words to me about this matter

"I wouldn't blame him if he did either. choose Annika (n live happily) and bring the family on streets VS leave Annika (n die inside) but keep the family safe and protected"

"I remember one dialogue in one serial- All these romantic notions of love look good. But when u have to struggle to make ends meet, even you realize you can't afford the luxury of romantic love"

"it will be worse than going to jail... See, in the practical world, if the public finds our that Oberoi built their empire out of insurance money that came from deaths of hundreds... And the fire was deliberately put, the seniors will be in Jail.

The public will reject all the products and services of Oberois, Their businesses will sink, credibility will go.. No one will want to deal with

them and they will have to sell off everything because businessmen usually have their money tied in places.

they wouldn't be able to recover from loss... so seniors in Jail. Juniors on streets...WHY? BECAUSE SHIVAAY CHOSE ANNIKA. Nice way to decide everyone's life"

when no one blamed Shivaay for taking the practical decision in Pinky's case y are u blaming him now?

The answer is: most people don't want Annika to be equal to family...they want Annika above family...That's y everyone blames Shivaay for doing this to Annika for the raaz.But they keep asking for vanvaas and for Shivaay to leave the family for Annika.

2nd issue: why didn't Shivaay tell Annika about BM?

now let's see..when the video was first shown to him.He refused to be BMed...and left...what happened? They got him into an accident and took him away for 15 days...15 days that no one managed to know anything about him...so there are 2 ways to look at it:

1)What Shivaay said about him fearing for Annika's life makes sense

if they can do this just because he refused to listen to them...what will they do to Annika if she actually gets in the way of their plans...Tia, Mrs. Kapoor were known enemies...here the enemy isn't even known and can go to any extent

2)He is treating Annika like family...He always asks the family to stand behind him in case of problems...And he is doing the same with Annika

If Shivaay is doing what everyone wants him to do..treat Annika like family..then y there are people who are upset that he didn't tell her?

The Answer is: Cause they want Annika to be FAMILY + LIFE PARTNER

They want The Pros but not the Cons of the above equation

Pros:

family when it comes to choosing her above others...Life partner in terms of sharing with her in problems and happiness...which is totally ok and normal... but wanting those 2 things together has cons too...

Cons:

If she is family...he is going to think of her before himself..meaning he'll stand in front of her and keep her safe when times call for it (like he did now by keeping her in the dark)

If she's his life partner and equal to him...means him choosing family over her sometimes is normal too (as she is his partner and like he puts family first, she'll have to do that too...

And he'll expect her to do that and be ok with that choice too...Cause being his partner, she shares his responsibilities too AS well as have his same rights of taking decisions...which is also what he did by doing his responsibility and expecting Annika to understand)

So in other words, people want the pros of being a WIFE but not the cons??

if we assume Annika's long wanted NDE happens...He is not going to blame Obeoris for what happens to her...He's gonna beat himself up for not being able to keep her out of the plan...For not being able to lie enough to convince her of the ML

Finally, That's y I didn't think this week's episodes were bad or ruined any character or progression in any way...They behaved the way they always do...The difference is we love to choose sides and that's y we expect Shivaay/Annika to choose sides...As in Shivaay choosing her always and Annika choosing herself

P.S: I do have complaints about this TRack...it's the fact that instead of it being full of pain and angst we got comedy...When we should've seen Shivaay feeling terrible for doing all this to Annika, we got him only saying that he has to keep her away...

When we should get him missing her in those 15 days...fearing for her life being in danger...seeing that fight between the LIFE PARTNER (who wants to tell her) and THE WALL (who wants to protect her and shield her from the family's mess) we got a cold I don't want to put u in danger

When we should get Annika feeling the pain of having to act...WE got comedy

IN OTHER WORDS...

WE AGAIN DIDN'T GET SHIVAAY'S POV... & THAT RUINS EVERY TRACK...

WE AGAIN (LIKE IN AFTER SEPARATION) GOT COMEDY THAT RUINED THE INTENSITY OF THE SITUATION

u r all welcome to agree or disagree...no need to turn this into any kind of war of shivaay vs annika or annika vs family...it's my mere opinion
