I'm not going to get into a Shivaay v/s Anika...the simple point is that execution MATTERS...why is the audience expected to themselves extrapolate based on past examples and make excuses for the behavior of the characters when the actual execution of the "track" and scenes is a fail?

Shivaay's reaction to Anika's pleas and trying to remind him of their vows and what being PARTNERS means was CRUCIAL bit...but such underwhelming reactions from Shivaay made it fall flat...on top of that, the rush to slapstick comedy degraded it all further.

In a simple sentence, last week was an execution fail for whatever this "track" is supposed to be for Shivika...starting from a half-baked fake ML to fake wife to now supposed investigation of some chindi raaz.

I also disagree with the people saying that editing has improved...how? The hug in the dark room was so poorly edited with intercuts to Tanya creeping around...and it seemed like there were more dialogues in that scene that were abruptly cut short...and then the rest of the week didn't capitalize on momentum at a good pace either...and my focus is specifically on Shivika...I don't care what's happening with the rest...but Shivika-wise this was not a good week.

This "track" only has potential if emotions are correctly handled...which they aren't being so far...seems writer madam is distracted elsewhere.

u know to explain things character-wise in terms of practical decisions...pain and angst would've made it better...but wouldn't have made the decision he/she took different

That's the instant conclusion people always jump to...that he picked Family over Anika...lol to me, the bigger issue is the execution fail with the writers firstly adding this b.s. about a fake wife to disrespect Shivika's progression and then showing BOTH Shivaay and Anika brushing off the fake wife as if it's a joke...😕

This isn't about Family v/s Anika...this is about Shivaay not realizing what being partners actually means...and the focus needs to be on him realizing that instead of laughing off nonsense like a fake wife.

However many people didn't want Annika to walk away they want her to fight, support your husband but keeping your self respect intact. I think he is still learning to take her as a partner when it comes to family things...he still thinks that he can/should do everything alone

as u said when NDE will happen...he's not gonna blame himself for not telling her but he'll blame himself for actually telling her and putting her in danger

he's gonna say that he should've solved the issue on his own as he doesn't want her to get hurt for someone else's mistake

if the NDE happens now...and i think it will...it's gonna be a huge shock to him cause this is practically the first time he is telling annika about a family problem that she herself didn't tell him (as in tia she told him, kamini she noticed the letter, NT was about her only) and the result would be hrt getting hurt

but as i said we're missing shivaay's POV...i wanna know what he felt annika should/would do when he declares Tanya as wife

what he went through those 15 days...

Just to clarify...my point was if an NDE had happened when he had not told Anika about his fake ML, when he was pushing her away and Anika would have continued investigating on her own, he would have felt guilty.. And now you are saying.. he has told Anika and now if an NDE happens, he will blame himself, which is true as well...Anyways, I guess.. Team Billu ki Tadap is the right team to join now.. *sigh*

@bold I'm pretty sure he was not happy about it.. He did say Sorry because he could not give her the happiness he deserves...and if we do get Shivaay's POV... I'll consider that we are very lucky...😆😆

agree but the problem is it just a misplaced sorry..also even when we didn't get Shivaay pov directly we saw his pain and angst when hurting Annika earlier sadly that was missing here just cold expressions. They stalled Shivika story since merger the Shivika which was set part bcoz of their intensity and deep talk is missing..they r just left to do comedy and random romantic gestures.
