I'm not going to get into a Shivaay v/s Anika...the simple point is that execution MATTERS...why is the audience expected to themselves extrapolate based on past examples and make excuses for the behavior of the characters when the actual execution of the "track" and scenes is a fail?
Shivaay's reaction to Anika's pleas and trying to remind him of their vows and what being PARTNERS means was CRUCIAL bit...but such underwhelming reactions from Shivaay made it fall flat...on top of that, the rush to slapstick comedy degraded it all further. In a simple sentence, last week was an execution fail for whatever this "track" is supposed to be for Shivika...starting from a half-baked fake ML to fake wife to now supposed investigation of some chindi raaz.I also disagree with the people saying that editing has improved...how? The hug in the dark room was so poorly edited with intercuts to Tanya creeping around...and it seemed like there were more dialogues in that scene that were abruptly cut short...and then the rest of the week didn't capitalize on momentum at a good pace either...and my focus is specifically on Shivika...I don't care what's happening with the rest...but Shivika-wise this was not a good week. This "track" only has potential if emotions are correctly handled...which they aren't being so far...seems writer madam is distracted elsewhere.
