Shivaay might've not said those 3 words for the forced marriage...and I don't know if u have seen what happened after it or not...but that guy did everything he can to make that memory go away...

he made up for every mistake he did

sure a sorry would make her forgive but what he did make her forget what he did...Annika, at a point, forgot it was a forced marriage...she fell in love and found her own way of a happy ending

instead of asking a wronged person to beg,cry and go through tests to proove he's guilty...watch what he does...instead of a crying mopping Om, ask for an Om that gives Gauri respect, equality and lots of care...enough of care ,love and trust that she never remembers what happened

what u said about that show...that isn't called a redemption track (with all due respect) it's called a mopping session...where u ask the person at wrong to keep asking for apology...keep crying and begging ...

finally...comparing forced marraige to this isn't right...Shivika had such incident (and i am assuming u know that since u brought shivaay into this) and shivaay said those words...very beautifylly too

yet at some point, annika was still scared that Daksh will create an MU again...

but the way Shivaay redeemed his forced marriage "without apology, withoutbegging" Annika never thought again that he'll force her or hurt her brother ever again

forget about the one that made the mistake...and look at the one who was wronged...what do u want gauri to have?

Well anshuman's character did not just beg and cry , have u even watched Tumhaari paakhi? If u had than u wouldnt have said that. He went for a vanvas .. in the literal sense to redeem .. he didnt even ask for an apology until he had redemmed bcz he thought he is not worth going in front if her . Infact that redemption track did differenciate between hollow words and real apology because in the start anshuman does that .. bends on his knees but paakhi says u are just saying these words not feeling them .. so he then does everything what had to be done !

Secondly .. a million things to love anika .. He erased the memories of her chilhood .. not of that night .. . he fed her when he came to know she used to sleep hungry, he tries to erase her fear of darkness, her fear of abondonment, he literally took her in his lap and carrsrd her hair when she talked about her parents .. he did everything .. but i have not seen him introspect and say that night was beastly on his part .. threatening to undress a girl .. i am sorry i am not convinced and yes i want gauri to have an apology.

TM have politely posted her pov and I guess there is no harm in sharing what she thinks. She didnt asked anyone to agree wid her. You guys love your couple and feels apology is done n dusted. It is absolutely ok. That is your pov and she wont mock it.
All you ppl could hv done is reply politely to her and put forward your opinion or ignored the post but instead you ppl are mocking her for her opinion.
For her, meaning of apology is different than you people and she expressed same.

Clearly our basic understanding of Shivaay's character and Shivika's journey is on completely different planes if you fully want to hinge it on a rehashing of the forced wedding point by point with Shivaay apologizing for specific bullet points and everything else he has done to atone is completely dismissed. To some, those gestures matter far more in terms of atonement than the technicality of an apology.

Btw if you want to get technical, Shivaay did talk about his mistake in the scene with Rudy after he learns of Anika's past too...he again expressed disgust at what he had done to her that day...but I suppose that doesn't count in your books either😆

This is giving me deja vu of the whole ILU technicality...to some people, unless he says the exact words, his actions count for nothing...in the same way unless he rehashes the whole forced wedding, apologizes for SPECIFIC points, his atonement counts for nothing...the understanding b/w Shivika counts for nothing😆

I do not deserve to be laughed at because i have a different understanding of a character. Really amazing behaviour over here. Yes mentioning to rudy and not anika doesnt count in my books i am sorry. And again one thing .. saying i love you and sorry are two different things .. and if u think pheno gi ya phenao is not molestation than lets not discuss furthur.

After watching Shivaay's progression do we actually need proper "I am sorry" wala board hanging on his neck?

I should have consulted u before posting a topic here .. mtlb i didnt compare any two leads .. i didnt mock or ridicule .. i just posted my version of an apology but OMG the reactions here .. ppl are going to ridicule you because you dont think like them .. 😕 .. accuse u of not watching the show. Still waiting anyone to post one scene where shivaay directly refers to that incident and apologizes to anika .. i wonder where are the people who WATCH this show and are ridiculing me .
