Decoding Shivaay's touches

Shivaay has been sending unmistakable signals to Anika off late and she is too naive, too inexperienced to understand them. Shivaay has been more and more comfortable with Anika ever since he declared as his wife and the moments they have spent together have only strengthened his belief in Anika. He wants to move ahead in the marriage, has been dropping hints that his wife has not picked up on.

Let us see the various ways he has been getting close physically to her.

1. Hand Holding : This has been there right from the start. He has held onto Anika's hand numerous times and has even forgotten that he was holding her hand in his. He has been reaching for her hand more often than not. Shivaay held Anika when she tripped in the stairs and held her in front of his family. He is smitten, hooked, head over heels and doesn't even know it. Who can forget the epic Hand holding kiss scene in Blue..that was dreamy...the dard hota hai game... While making Anika wear the bangles, he kissed her arm, her inner wrist and held her arm firmly and pulled her closer to him.

2. Touching hair: Shivaay has been touching Anika's hair a lot. Every time he gets closer to her, it is a gesture that he touches her cheek and her hair. It is a very intimate touch and how many people do we allow to touch our face, our hair. Only a hairdresser or a person who is giving a facial touches the face or the hair. So if a guy like Shivaay is touching his wife's face and hair, he wants to get more intimate. He is expressing his care, getting to know and understand Anika better. Think of all the times he has caressed her face and placed his hand in her hair. It is an indication to connect at a deeper level. While touching one's face, a delicate touch is used. He is stroking and playing with her hair shows Shivaay's romantic feelings, he is flirting with Anika. SHivaay has started thinking of Anika as more than just a trusted friend. He is ready to make her his wife in every sense.

3. Forehead touch: Shivika have touched forehead a few times and it indicates Love, affection and a plea for closeness. Shivaay kissed Anika on the forehead a few times and it means he wants to keep her forever. It is an endearing gesture that is respectful and having reached this level of sweetness, Anika has won his heart. Only she does not know it. What ever she did by being just Anika, it has worked its magic. Keep being who you are Anika as Shivaay digs it totally and utterly.

4. Shivaay kept his arm around Anika in public, in front of his family and also hugged in front of Omri. Shivaay has marked his territory in the most primal sense. He is telling others not to look at his wife, even if he is not conscious of it. He has been gazing at her lips too, more frequently and it is noticeable. Anika too has been looking at Shivaay's lips when she is held closely by him. There have been numerous times they have hugged too.

5. Shivaay cooked meals for Anika a few times. He is trying to appeal to Anika's senses. He wants to melt her heart and getting Anika to love him back. He is a family man and telling Anika that he is a good spouse. The very act of cooking for someone says a lot. He is willing to use his energy amid his busy days to cook for her.

6. Shivaay grabbed her waist just before the choodi pehna raha hoon scene. It was shown explicitly and Anika is now getting used to his touches. He also told her not to be shy with him, her pati. Is this a declaration or what?? He is ready to consummate the marriage. It is a personal area, the waist and we women keep it guarded most of the time. When Shivaay touched Anika's waist it means he is feeling familiarity with you and so is Anika. Shivaay is not shy of touching the personal areas of Anika's body now. By holding her around the waist, it means he is protective of Anika. It also means that he wants to be more connected with Anika on a sexual level.

The forum has been on fire speculating whether Shivika will consummate the marriage or not. I have a feeling they will next week. Shivaay has been sending signals and seems like Anika has guessed his intent. The precap with the room decorated and champagne bottle with Shivika looking gorgeous in black, with him gifting her that tiny nightwear, insisting she wear it for him... Anika wearing it over her black gown is a hoot. There may be some comic moments followed by some intense passionate looks of Shivika.

Anika can be deliberately obtuse at times. ..it's not possible that she doesn't get his signals.

She is innocent. ..but not ignorant.

Lol..Anika is an innocent and too shy for Shivaay. she feels strange or new feelings coursing in her body that sends her running every time her pati tries to get close to her. I guess it is a case of butterflies in her stomach... but for how long can she run from Shivaay? 😆

Monday should be interesting... a break from Pinky..or even if she is shown... it is ok..we have the Shivika scene coming up.

Yeah he is in to her and with all the dragging the writers did for months I'll be shocked if anything happens 😆 She has been miserable for months so none of this makes sense.

Personally, I don't get the hype around SR in general in tv serials. I can't even watch those cringey holi romance sequences so its a hard pass from me lol. The writers are unpredictable so it could go anyway especially if a separation is on the table. No apology, no real wedding, the only time she was enjoying herself Pinky had to ruin all her fun during the functions, and her brother misses everything. The writers are sadists she never gets to be happy so if something happens she will be thrown out 😆

Lol.. sometimes I feel that she is ignorant and does not get his signals. She is very happy in the friend zone, with hugs and hand holding.

Think Shivaay got motivated when she told him .mere Shivaay' during the bangle scene and she realized at that moment what he wanted from her or where it was going. She is troubled over what Pinky revealed about Shivaay, so her mind his occupied otherwise.

Shivaay's touches have grown 'bolder' and he was shown smiling during all their rasams held recently. He is happy and comfortable in this marriage.

Can't wait for Monday. Hope it is a good week.

The writers always drag the consummation scene of the leads for months and months. It is never a normal marriage. The ML of the few shows that I have watched or followed have IRON control over their libido and can resist the charms of their wife. 😆😆 It was only in one show that I have seen where the leads consummated their marriage in a timely fashion as Shivaay said... Normal people, normal lives. 😆

That said, writers are unpredictable in IB/DBO. Anything can happen anytime. The wedding was real enough just that she was coerced/forced into it. She has accepted Shivaay and is happy being married to him. Both are happy with each other. Pinky was the cloud that hovered over them and Sahil's character is not consistent. After NT was thrown out, he is not to be seen considering he had a big part in that.

Pinky has asked her to leave in 3 days and Anika has not promised anything to her. She may be worried about what she learnt of Shivaay's birth. All the spoilers that are coming out... I don't believe the rumors. Don't think there will be Shivika separation or even there is, it will be temporary. Shivaay can't live without Anika.
