Shivaay didn't investigate because gauri is family now and om never said anything about this
It is as easy for Om to investigate as it is for shivaay so it doesn't matter
Omkara is already used to her when she was chulbul he just has to realise it that gauri or chulbul she is still the same person he considered his friend

Part Two

Omkara and gauri were behaving as if they were strangers. "om aur gauri bilkul ek jaise hain, aur dono ziddi" anika says to shivaay one evening. "haan kitna samjhaya maine om ko par vo hai ki maan ne ko tayyar hi nahi hai" shivaay sighs.

Shivaay and anika had tried talking some sense into both omkara and gauri but it was no use. Om didn't want to see her face and gauri had just given up trying to talk to omkara.

That night when omkara and gauri were sleeping, gauri woke up to om whimpering. She got up from the floor and went to his side. It was 2 a.m. in the morning. She switched on the table lamp and saw that om was shivering. She touched his forehead, it was burning. "hey Shankar ji, inhe bahot tez bukhar hai, ab hum kya kare?" she asked to no one. Gauri quickly turned the AC off and covered omkara with more blankets. She saw the time again and wondered if it would be alright to wake anyone up. Seeing as everyone was already so stressed with nayantara and everything else going on, she decided not to wake anyone up.

She started with bringing a thermometer and measured his temperature which was 103 F. Now she was more worried, she thought about waking jhanvi but then decided against it. She was hesitating only because she didn't know if they expected her to wake them up but right now bringing his temperature down was more important.

"chal gauri waqt barbaad mat kar , harharaike thande paani ki pattiyan la" and gauri went to the kitchen and brought ice cold water and few towels.

Gauri sat beside omkara on his bed and started working. She dipped the towel in the bowl full of cold water, wringed it and placed the towel on his forehead.

She kept changing the towels and she checked his temperature which had reduced to 100 F for now. Gauri exhaled in relief and changed the towel again.

She yawned and looked at the clock, it was 3:25 a.m. and she didn't realise when she leaned back on the headboard and fell asleep in the sitting position with her palm on his forehead.

Next Morning

Om woke up feeling thirsty, tired and too warm. He opened his eyes and turned his head sideways to see gauri still sleeping beside him. She was sitting with her back resting on the headboard and her palm on his forehead. It was the first time he saw gauri sleeping and she looked so innocent as if she could never do any wrong. Without moving his eyes from her he held her wrist and slowly moved it.

Gauri woke up with a start "kya hua? Aap thik toh hain?" she asked om and touched his forehead then she leans over him and picks up the thermometer. All the while omkara was looking at her in stunned silence. He was confused, was he very sick last night? Did she take care of him? Why would she do that? He opened his mouth to ask but before he could voice his thoughts she inserted the thermometer in his mouth.

Gauri looked at the clock and gasped "hey Shankar ji , 6 baj rahe hain? Aur humne kisi ko btaya bhi nahi" the thermometer beeped and gauri looked at the screen to see that his temperature increased once again.

She jumped off the bed and told him not to move " aap hiliyega mat lete rahiye, hum harharaike aapke liye kadha leke aate hain aap bilkul thik ho jayenge" she was about to go when om said " koi zarurat nahi hai" and he sits on the bed.

"aise kaise zarurat nahi hai? Aapko bahot zyada bukhar hai. Aap rukiye hum abhi aate hain" gauri turns to leave and he stops her again.

"maine kaha na koi zarurat nahi hai, bandh karo yeh drama koi nahi hai ise dekhne ke liye" omkara says and closes his eyes.

"hum koi drama nahi kar rahe hain, sab aapki galti hai ek toh baraf wala paani peeke sote hain aur upar se itna thanda karma (because of AC) toh tabyat toh kharab honi hi thi na" saying this she leaves.

While gauri is gone jhanvi and bua maa comes to his room. "omkie shomkie tujhe fever ho gaya without season?" bua maa worried over him. Jhanvio touched his forehead and said "tumhe toh abhi bhi fever hai , mai kadha bana ke lati hun" jhanvi starts to leave but bua maa stops her "no need jhanvi gauri is making that kadha, relax"

"toh main doctor ko bula deti hun" jhanvi starts to dial when om says " uski koi zarurat nahi hai mom, I am fine." Before jhanvi could say anything gauri enters the room and comes to a stop seeing bua maa and jhanvi there. She moves towards om and he keeps staring at her. She gives the kadha to jhanvi and backs away.

Jhanvi gives the kadha to him which he denies. "Nahi mom mujhe koi kadha nahi peena" he holds jhanvi's wrist the hand by which she is holding the glass - away from him. "bachon ki tarah zidd mat karo om aur vaise bhi maine kitni baar kaha hai tumse ki raat mei baraf ka paani peekar AC mei sone se tabyat kharaab ho saqti hai." Jhanvi scolds him but hearing her say the same thing as gauri, he looks at her and she looks at him then turns her head away.

Bua maa turns to gauri "gauri omkie ko fever that oh tumne pehle kyun nhi bataya humein?"

"vo bua maa ji, raat ke 2 baj rahe the toh humein laga ki vaise bhi sab itna pareshaan hain toh hum aur pareshaan na kare aur vaise bhi humne thande paani pattiyan kar di thi inka bukhar harharaike utar gaya." Gauri informs bua maa to which she takes a breathe of relief.

"dekha om tum humesha meri bahu ko bura bolte rehte ho , raat bhar jag kar usne tumhara dhyaan rakha hai " jhanvi says to omkara then turns to gauri.

Jhanvi caresses her hair and says " jab tak tum mere om ke saath mujhe chinta karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai."

"chal jhanvi omkie ko araam karne de"

"haa bua maa, gauri tum ye kaadha om ko pila do main chalti hun" and jhanvi and bua maa leaves.

Gauri looks at the glass in her hand and then at omkara. "don't you dare" he warns her when he realises that she was about ask him to drink it.

Gauri gets irritated and puts the glass on the bedside table "thik hai mat peejiye, aapki tabyat bhi thik nahi hogi. Aapko humse ladna hi hai toh pehle apni haalat sudhariye fir ladiyega." Saying this she turns and leaves the room.

Om keeps looking after her irritated then looks at the glass and drinks it bottoms up. Unknown to him, gauri was watching from near the door, when she sees that he drank the kadha and she smiles. "itne dino pehli baar humaare jatadhaari pati ne humari baat suni hai" she has a laugh at it and leaves from there.

Wow such a nice prologue omkara told her to.leave she obliged and told his family she is going to leave but daadi stopped her good.move... if this was shown I think DBO would have rocked... Anyway gul.ne daadi ko sirf Shivaay k liye hi rkha Hai...

Awwh so gauri revealed and daadi stopped her... Jhanvi also tried her best even Shivaay try to understand him and his situation but omkara being angrykara. Doesn't listen...

Gauri and omkara confrontation was nice loved the way gauri said Mar Kyu nhi jaane diya this would have been the perfect line if CVS have used when he asked her to die... And eat poison...


Awwh... So omkara's anger is melting down and he always try to watch his wife...

Dil ka armaan jaag the Hain vaah vaah...

This was a cute update dear...

It was soo cute. Awww type moment.
Shivika are trying their hard to put some sense into Rikara's brain.
And Gauri took care of Om that too puri raat.
Gauri's last sentence made me laugh

Gauri was so happy

So that they can have Takkar wali fight
