In the show when Mahi came in the picture, Annika had seen Shivaay's love, care and concern. When Mahi stepped in, he kept his distance. Annika has seen Shivaay's brand of love, its taste, its texture.. Anything less would put her on an alert.

When Mahi manhandled her, she knew the Shivaay who loves her would never do that and so she becomes sure that its an imposter..

Here where a person has seen his hate and even when she knew him, he was promised to another-- her chances of identifying the imposter are next to none..(NUN🤣)

Annika could have become a nun as well but Shivaay should let her..😆😆
