Gauri has not been keeping well past 4 days. She was feeling tired and exhausted. Omkaara was out on a business trip and was expected to arrive in another 2 days. She didn't say him that she wasn't keeping well since he will be worrying and throwing tantrums from far, unnecessarily. She was arranging stuff in her room just then a perfume bottle fell accidentally on the floor. The bottle didn't break but leaked most of it. The strong smell of his perfume was all over and she fell nauseous all of a sudden. She couldn't control and was about to throw up. She ran to the washroom. She was wondering what went wrong with this perfume smell all of a sudden. She couldn't really clean it and asked some help. She went to meet Anika who was running behind her 5 year old daughter. Little Shia went to play and then she was chatting with her. Anika enquired why is she looking dull and Gauri was telling her she was feeling so for past 4 days and she was about to throw up a little while ago. Anika asked her few questions and was almost confirmed. She controlled her excitement till she visited the doctor. She left shia with grandmothers and left with Gauri to visit the doctor. While waiting for the doctor, Anika slowly started.

"Gauri.. test karwalenge

"Bhaunjai.. kyon.. mujhe fever nahi hai. Sirf tiredness hai.. vomit sirf ek baar hua tha

"Gauri.. todi bahut samjhakar.. Date miss hua hai teri.. Ab tiredness and vomiting bhi hai.

"Bhaunjaai Gauri's eyes popped out with an unbelievable expression

"Haan.. confirm karlenge.. abhi.. Anika smiled.

Gauri became all the more nervous now. She never thought it would happen all of a sudden. She was planning to give him this surprise, but was not certainly expecting this. Her face was clouded with anticipation/hope/nervousness/excitement and control.

Doctor ordered for some tests and the reports were ready. Gauri couldn't handle the pressure hence anika got it and opened it with so much haste. Her face brightened up. Seeing her Gauri's face reflected an unbelievable happiness which she couldn't forget for life.

She requested Anika not to break this news to anyone until she said Omkaara. While the anxious wait of 2 days got over, he finally arrived at the middle of the night. He thought he will slip next to her without disturbing her sleep. Gauri was so anticipating his arrival that she got to know immediately once he entered.

"Jaanu.. kyon uth gaye ho.. so jao.. der hogayi.. His concern melted her heart.

"Mujhe aapse zaroori baat karni hai

He was changing casually.. "Bolo kya zaroori baat?"

"aap pehle yahan aayiye.."

"Hmm.. kahin tum mood mein to nahi ho.?" He was teasing her

After he sat opposite to her in bed "Bolo kya zaroori baat"

"Yaad hai.. 5 saal pehle aap bol rahe the.. ki aap ko 3 bache chahiye..?"

"Haan.." he was wondering why she was speaking about kid late in the night

She moved and sat in his lap. "to bolo, pehle aap ko ladka chahiye ya ladki? She kept his hand on her tummy and looked at him wide eyes waiting for his reaction.

Omkaara's eyes widened with happiness.. "Really??

"Haan.. 2 din hogayi doctor se confirm karke.. kitna intezaar kar rahi thi aapki.. aap na abhi kahin gayab hogaye ho She was speaking in a false anger & after kissing his forehead "Omkaara, main bahut khush hoon" She smiled with a little tears in her eyes..

He was just processing what she said.. They are having a baby? Really? His smile widened and his excitement finally kicked in. He pulled her close and kissed her all over the face gently.. "Jaanu.. thank you.. thank you" He pressed his face against her chest..

"wow.. main papa banne wala hoon.." his face changed in a thoughtful expression. He made her stand up and knelt down, held her and pressed his face against her tummy. "Main iss duniya ki sabse best papa banoonga baby.. jo kuch mujhe nahi mila, sab kuch tumhe doonga main"

She felt so melted down by his sweet talk to the child. She got him up & cupped his face.. "Aap iss duniye ki sabse best beta hai aur bestest pati hain. Aur aage best papa bhi banenge.. Mujhe khush hain ki main aapki bete ki maa hoon

It was a time to rejoice. They finally had experienced the bliss of a marriage out of love. The entire household rejoiced at the arrival of another baby. They were so waiting for this news and finally they got to hear it.

Gauri's life was a tough one from the childhood. She was adopted by her parents and she grew up without knowing who her biological parents are. She had face tough childhood deprived of education after her father's demise. She hardly knew what it felt to be pampered by the household especially by the loved ones. Omkaara fulfilled the void more than she could ask for. He literally kept watch on her everytime she walked, without even having to ask she would immediately get what she wanted. He treated her like the most precious thing existed on earth. Even thought entire household pampered her, the attention she got from him was very special. He made sure he spent more time with her. Every night he made sure he held her bump to feel the baby kicking more when he caressed it. He made the baby feel his/her father is all way along as much as possible like their mother.

It was also a little tough for her, since he would throw tantrums even for a small pain and discomfort. When the days were nearing for her delivery, he was more nervous than she was. Whenever he had to go out, he made sure someone was around her and kept checking her every 10 minutes if she was okay. Finally the most anticipated day arrived when Gauri had to deliver the baby.

It was midnight when her pains started and even before he could tell him that, he sensed her discomfort. His brothers were around in the hospital for his support, but he was not leaving her until they had to finally take her to labour room. He held his heart in his eyes falling completely silent because of the inner fear that lured seeing her writhing in pain. She tried to pacify him as much but was not in her senses to do so, as the pain was controlling her. It was an intense labour and a very long one. He lost patience after almost an hour while Shivaay was speaking to the nurses.

After testing so much patience, his son was born near to dawn. It was a dawn to the souls who have undergone so much in the past after finding solace in each others arms.

He wanted to see the baby along with her. He waited until they transferred her to the room and had the baby. Every other member sneak peaked into the room impatiently to catch a glimpse of LittleOm. Finally, the moment arrived when he walked inside to see Gauri just awake holding their little son. She was still tired after intense labour but this moment was something she waited for all these years. He was overwhelmed to see this sight, had a little tears, while sitting aside her. He looked into small dark caramel eyes of his little son with a dense curly hair. She leaned on his chest while giving him their precious possession. It was an unusually proud feeling to hold this little bundle of joy after waiting for so long, for him. He kissed Gauri and gave almost a soft pout on his son. The entire family was so feeling so heart-warming after this sight, with Jhanvi waiting for her turn to hold her grand-son. She didn't want to spoil the little cute moment of the three together.

Gauri looked at him.. "humhaare bete ki naam batayiye.."

"Trishul" He looked at Shivaay who held his Trishna in his hand very lovingly..
