Your mind must be reeling right now. My heart just dropped to my stomach, and its churning something fierce.
Fine examples of motherhood shown today.
1 exposes her son to a shocking revelation on purpose, to humiliate him and his wife in front of the media
1 mother dumps her son who cares for her and lets him rot in depression.
1 woman takes money to pretend she is a mother to an orphan, but goes with intent to defame her at her in laws house.
My heart fell like a stone in my belly watching Shivaay stand there stumped at the podium, as this woman sashays up the carpet to openly claim to be Annika's mother.
(Wait a minute. When did he say he was looking for Annika's mother? All he did was enquire about her at the paan stall and left his card. And this woman walks in with the full story? Pinky , you are so dead.)
Shivaay was upset. Not angry, or embarrassed or disgusted. He was sad.
The very things Annika was worried about, some unsavoury detail about her will surface if he went on digging into her past.
And that is what he thinks has happened. He dug out a painful past. After promising her that her happiness was here to stay, he had to stumble upon this.
How will she feel? How will she take this information? was his immediate concern. This strange woman was calling herself entertainer, dancer, ITEM. Why would a woman do this, logic fails me.
She came with intent to humiliate, not to discreetly meet or enquire.
I hope Shivaay doesn't buy it for a minute. He looks too shocked for his brain cells to function. Dimaag ki dai ho gaya.
BUt I love what he said earlier.
Who my wife is or isn't is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
He leaves the press conference abruptly, and takes Naintara aside to talk. Best move for Shivaay. Just leave the scene, don't say anything further. Pinky has done all the damage she can do for today.
Elsewhere, Mahi and Annika talk. I have always wanted this scene. And it didn't disappoint.
Mahi laments of Shivaay being the lucky chosen one , while he was left in squalor. Annika hears his pain and misery and understands it, because she has gone through it herself.
She wants him to come to Oberoi Mansion with her, to meet his real family. And he reacts very badly. He knows THE BIG SECRET. And it will really mess with Shivaay's life. So he tells Annika to leave the matter and go home.
She learns from him that " Pinky is not Shivaay's real mother"
Annika's devastation is palpable. I felt her disturbance with heaviness in my chest. She wonders what to do, so she calls Om. Om picks up real fast, that she is really upset about something and insists on meeting her immediately.

Okay I think Mahi only told what was told to him. That's what he knows and it may be a whopping lie to keep the poor lad down in the dumps, and keep him from going to the Oberoi House. To tell him he is truly Naajayaz.
But those flashbacks do indicate that Pinky did deliver a child all those years ago, having talked about pregnancy and all. Only Shakti can clear this mess.
I really think Pinky had the twins, and Shakti gave one away for some reason. And Kamini didn't keep her promise, which is why Shakti has set his blood hounds on her.
Pinky may not know at all..
I bet Annika didn't tell Om about it. She will tell that she met Mahi and he ran off and not reveal what she found. This secret is too big to tell anyone but Shivaay, and Shivaay ALONE.
Correction: I hope Annika didn't tell Om, and will tell Shivaay herself. alone. Or not at all.
That look Shivaay and Annika had when they set eyes upon each other (precap) was so loaded with emotion. Each is protecting the other from devastating revelations. Shivaay looks like he wants to keep Annika from meeting her "so called mother"
